Okay, let's head down to the lobby and make it official!! (ding ding) (audience applauds as Patseen and I exit the elevator and join Sam in the studio) Well Sam, I'm afraid this is the end of the line for you on Tower Challenge! You definitely gave it a good run and you can take some solace in the fact that even if you had not started over and taken the $750,000+ from your first turn, Patseen still would have beaten you in the end. I hope you enjoyed your time on our show though -- let's hear it for Sam, everyone! (audience applauds as Sam shakes our hands and exits the shot) Patseen, you are in very good shape here going into the Semi-Final! You get to carry that ULTIMATE DO-OVER with you which might come in very handy indeed! (ding)
Kevin and Patseen will have their Semi-Final rematch after all -- with the winner taking on Antonio for what could be a massive payoff in the Final! We'll have that Semi-Final right after we have this message! Stay tuned, you're watching the Tower Challenge here on NGC! (applause as the camera zooms and fades out)

(applause as camera zooms and fades in)
Welcome back to the Tower Challenge, ladies and gentlemen! I am here with Kevin and Patseen and it is time for our Semi-Final Match!
So far, we've seen differing results for everyone, haven't we? Sam had some wild rides in that elevator, but the Tower did him in at the end and he has been eliminated from the show. You both have had some decent success so far and whichever one does not proceed to the Final will still win 10% of his winnings to this point, which will be a nice chunk of change for either of you. Finally, there's Antonio who had some tremendous picks in our opening match and awaits the winner of this match, but as long as he avoids the "GAME OVER" in the Final, then no matter the result, he'll walk away a multi-millionaire! The question is, who will his opponent be? Let's start to find out, shall we?
Kevin, as was the case in the second Finalist Match also against Patseen, you are the higher seed and therefore have the privilege of deciding the order of play. You went first in that match -- are we repeating that strategy or are you putting pressure on Patseen to possibly use that ULTIMATE DO-OVER card and have him start us off?

Okay, interesting decision -- in that case, we'll have you head back to the Green Room for now Kevin and let's see how this plays out. (audience applauds as Kevin heads towards the back of the studio and out of the shot)
Alright Patseen, here's your chance to take control of this match and possibly put yourself in the Final!
Your 6 floors and sides please, sir.

I hope it's kind to you as well, Patseen! Let's see what happens!! (audience applauds as we enter the elevator) (click click click click click click) Our first stop of this Semi-Final is the 7th floor... (ding ding) ...where you selected the podium on the right side. Please light up podium 7R!
(bling) (scattered applause) Well, no moolah but as has happened in previous matches, this is the best time to get rid of those negative percentages! Was there any money on the other side? (bling) (audience oooohs)
Well, just a few hundred dollars, but you have eliminated what could have been a second DO-OVER that you could have used in this turn.
Speaking of DO-OVERs, you are carrying that ultimate version from your previous match which entitles you to start over whenever you want. I'm figuring you probably want to continue, but you do have the option even now after visiting just this first of six floors.
So what shall it be, Patseen? Continue on or start over?

On we go... (ding ding) Floor number 12 was your next choice and on the left side this time...light it up, please!
(bling) (scattered applause) Okay, well it's a score at least now -- what did we have across the hall this time? (bling) (audience cheers)
Oh excellent! You've eliminated the "GAME OVER" which now guarantees that you'll have that ULTIMATE DO-OVER to use for at least the rest of this turn.
So, not much cash wise, but good shape otherwise. Continue or start over, Patseen?

Okay, here we go! (ding ding) Your third floor is the third floor and you went with the left podium this time -- let's find out what we have there...
(bling) (audience moans) A whole dollar! The Tower is being miserly so far, Patseen. Over on the other side, we had... (bling) (scattered applause) ...another negative percentage off the board, so that's a good thing. (ding ding) The eighteenth floor is our next stop and you also took the left podium on this floor, which results in...
(bling) (audience murmurs) ...nothing. Across the hall on the 18th, what was available there? (bling) (audience aaaahs) Well, a DO-OVER and a few grand, but still no big money so far. Your 5th choice of floor is down one to the 17th... (ding ding) ...where this time, you took the right side. Let's have a look at what's concealed within podium 17R...please light it up!
(bling) (audience groans) Well, I guess that was 8 times better than the last pick, anyway! The last two floors gave you a total of nine bucks! Scrooge McTower over here. Over on the left side, we had... (bling) (audience oooooohs) Well, that was a little bit o' cash anyway, but let's hope for a big amount as we head down to the 5th floor. (ding ding) We're finishing off on the left side this time. C'mon Tower, show us some loot!
(bling) (audience cheers) There it is! That's another big amount on your final floor, Patseen! It was a great choice there. On the other side, what was there? (bling) (audience applauds)
Well, a big positive percentage over there, but given your total, it wouldn't have amounted to much.
So Patseen, the situation is this. You still have your ULTIMATE DO-OVER at your disposal. If you're not happy with this total, we can start over right now. Another possibility is to record this amount now, have Kevin take his turn and if he beats it, cash in the DO-OVER at that point to try and beat him.
What shall it be, Patseen? Stop now with $504,009 or toss that aside and start over?

A wise move, Patseen -- let's head to the lobby and make it official! (ding ding) (audience applauds as Patseen and I exit the elevator) (ding) Music begins to playIf the top two seeds are to face each other in the Final, Kevin will need a similar result as he had in his previous match against Patseen. Can Kevin do it? We'll find out after this commercial message. Stay tuned -- you're watching the Tower Challenge here on NGC! (audience applauds as the camera zooms and fades out)

(fade and zoom in with applause)
Welcome back to the Tower Challenge, everyone. Patseen is back in the Green Room with a half-million on the board and an ULTIMATE DO-OVER in his back pocket. As the #3 seed, he's had some decent success so far on the show.
I'm here now with Kevin who has a bit of a task in front of him -- beat Patseen, but try and beat him by as much as possible, otherwise risk being done in by that do-over.
Kevin, when you're ready sir -- your floors and sides please and good luck to you!

Okay Kevin, let's start your turn and see what happens! (audience applauds as Kevin and I enter the elevator) (click click click click click click)
You must not be superstitious, because you've started with the thirteenth floor! (ding ding) On this floor, you chose the left podium, so let's please light that one up!
(bling) (audience murmurs) Well, about enough for a cab ride around the block there. What did we eliminate with the right-side podium? (bling) (scattered applause) Ok, it's a similar start as what Patseen had -- getting rid of those negatives early -- always a good thing. Next stop is down a floor to the 12th... (ding ding) ...where this time, you've selected the right side of the floor. Please light up 12 right!
(bling) (scattered applause) Alright, well the dollar amounts are climbing at least -- up to $1,016 now -- across the hall was... (bling) (scattered applause) ...the "X Level" which may or may not have factored in at all. Your 3rd stop is up a couple to the 14th floor. (ding ding) You went right side again on this floor -- let's hope the money continues to climb -- please...light it up!
(bling) (audience applauds) Okay, that's more like it! If you'd gone with the left podium, you'd have had... (bling) (audience oooohs)
...only a few hundred dollars more, so it's a good choice there, but it's too bad you're down to only 3 positive percentages left.
Well, obviously it's not enough to win the match, but the only school of thought regarding stopping now would be if you think perhaps Patseen's gonna be greedy and start his match over to try for a larger amount of money. If he did that and faltered, then potentially, this might end up being enough to win after all.
I'm guessing you probably want to go on Kevin, but the rules state I must pause here and get your decision...keep going or stop with $65,016?

On we go! (ding ding) The twentieth floor was your next stop and on this floor, you went with the left podium -- let's hope it's another large dollar amount -- light it up, please!
(bling) (loud shrieks and gasps from the audience) OH NO!! Well Kevin, we were bound to have someone select that space at some point -- unfortunately, it has happened to you. On the other side of the floor, we had... (bling) (audience continues moaning and groaning) ...the one time that getting nothing would have been something. I am so sorry Kevin, but your turn ends here and we must head down to the lobby now to unfortunately make it official. (ding ding) (audience applauds Kevin's effort as we join Patseen on stage)
Well Kevin, that was costly. Not only has it most likely cost you this match and eliminated you from the show, but it also nullifies the $551,376 you earned in the second Finalist Match. Your fate now lies in the hands of Patseen.
Patseen, this is an interesting position that you're in. You could cash in your ULTIMATE DO-OVER right now and as long as you don't also get the "GAME OVER", you would still win the game even if you finished your turn with a score of $0. In other words, this is a chance to perhaps earn even more money than you already have. In fact, the worst case scenario of getting the "GAME OVER" would mean you'd lose your do-over, you'd lose all the money you'd earned to this point, but the match would essentially end in a tie and we'd start the whole thing over again. I'm sure Kevin likes that idea.
So, it's up to you, Patseen -- are we going for more or are we going to the Final?

You know what, I cannot turn down half a million I have right now because I might end up losing the whole million from the past matches.
But can I ask you for something? Can I just hand him this little card and let him try again? At least he could get some money or even try to beat me again. 'Cause you know, 10% of my money you mentioned earlier, it would still be enough for all my tuition so...

(audience cheers and applauds Patseen) Wow, that is unbelievably generous of you, Patseen. I never expected anyone to suggest this -- the intention of the do-over cards are so that the holder of them gets a chance to play again. Having said that, I don't have any specific rule against giving the card away. I guess one way to look at this is that it's your card and you should be able to use it whenever and however you wish, which I guess could include giving it to someone else. My only concern here is that we would be introducing a new rule during the show, which is normally never done and which some may have a problem with. In this case, I am okay with it, but I suggest we let the audience decide. I have created the following Strawpoll to allow the audience to anonymously vote: Audience, please vote on this. You are permitted only one answer and only one vote. We will pause 24 hours and proceed with the show around Noon PT on Sunday based on the results of the poll.

Okay, thanks to those who voted and here are the results: I did not vote, so including my approval for this, by a 3-1 margin we will now have what will be forever known as the "Punsiri Provision" in that your control over an ULTIMATE DO-OVER card includes giving it to your opponent. Patseen, for now, we'll ask you to chill in the Green Room to see what happens. Let's hear it for his generosity, folks! (audience applauds as Patseen heads towards the back of the studio, walking out of the shot)
Kevin, it looks like you have new life on our show -- it's do-over time for you -- which floors and sides would you like this time?

Okay Kevin, here we go -- best of luck to you! (audience applauds as we enter the elevator and the doors close behind us) (click click click click click click) Stop #1 this time around is floor #5... (ding ding) ...where you decided to begin on the left. Let's see what you get when we illuminate podium 5L -- light it up, please!
(bling) (audience applauds) Okay, pretty good start -- let's light up 5R and see what was over there. (bling) (audience aaaaahs) Well, it's too bad one of those is off the board, but 25% of nothing would have been nothing, so it's a good start, Kevin. Next, we head to the 10th... (bling) ...and this time, you chose the right podium...please light that one up!
(bling) (audience grumbles) Well bummer, nothing over there. If you'd stayed on the left, what would you have received? (bling) (audience aaaaaaaaahs) Oh, well another example where nothing is a good thing, plus one of the negatives is eliminated as well. On we go in search of more cash... (ding ding) Here on the 12th floor, you've stayed on the right side -- let's see what you got this time!
(bling) (audience murmurs) Dang it, nothing again -- well, maybe you've eliminated another negative, let's see what was across the hall. (bling) Well, basically nothing there, either. In this case Kevin, obviously we need to continue -- you have no do-overs and stopping now would lose you the game, so on we go! (ding ding) This time, we're all the way up to the penthouse where for the rest of your turn, you're sticking with the left side -- let's light up penthouse left, please!
(bling) (audience gasps) Three nothings in a row? Wow, unbelievable! Let's hope for another good elimination then -- what was on the other side of the penthouse? (bling) (audience aaaaaahs) Well, that's too bad -- there was a DO-OVER card there. Two floors to go, let's head down to the 13th. (ding ding) Left side again -- show us some loot, Tower!
(bling) (audience murmurs) Well, better than a 4th nothing I suppose -- on the right side, we had... (bling) (audience gasps) ...oh man Kevin, we had enough to potentially win the game! Well, this means you need one of two things now -- your own ULTIMATE DO-OVER or the million bucks! Let's head to the 11th floor! (ding ding) It's the left side again here on this final floor -- we need something really good Tower -- please, light...it...up!
(bling) (audience ooooooohs) Nope, nothing really there either I'm afraid, Kevin. Right side this time had... (bling) (audience aaaaaaahs) Well, five digits worth of money, but nowhere near enough to win the game. Down to the lobby we go... (ding ding) (audience applauds as Kevin and I exit the elevator and rejoin Patseen awaiting us) Well Kevin, it seems that Patseen has been rewarded for his generosity after all. You had one extra kick at the can, but in the end, the Tower has said no. I want to thank you for being on our show and I hope you enjoyed yourself. A big round of applause for Kevin please, ladies and gentlemen! (audience applauds as Kevin shakes our hands and then walks off the stage and out of the shot) (ding)
Music begins to playWe've played 4 complete matches and to this point, we've given away absolutely nothing. That could potentially change in a very big way shortly! It will be Antonio vs. Patseen in our Final match with the chance of us ending up with not one, but two millionaires! Stay tuned, you're watching the Tower Challenge here on NGC! (audience applauds as the camera zooms out from Patseen and I and we fade to black)

We are back here on the Tower Challenge and after playing 4 matches and eliminating two of our contestants, we are now ready to finally give away some money as either Antonio or Patseen or perhaps both of them might have some major cash in their pockets once we finish this Final match.
Patseen, again, I was taken aback by your generosity in giving Kevin that extra chance, but the Tower rewarded you instead. At the moment, you have a total of $1,591,540 in eligible payout money that, if you win this Final, could get significantly larger. It's been a wild ride for you in your previous matches -- are you ready for this Final?

Well, good luck to you, Patseen!
You may or may not start first -- that will be up to Antonio whom we have not seen since the first match! Antonio, you have a chance to win an unprecedented amount of money here -- as long as avoid the "GAME OVER", then regardless whether you win or lose the match, you'll walk out of here a multi-millionaire!
You've been watching all of this unfold from the Green Room -- what are your thoughts on how things have played out so far?

This game is pure luck so when you can find the right combination then you can run with that.
I was waiting for somebody to get "Game Over" and it happened.
Good Luck, Patseen!

Antonio, we'll ask you to stand by in the Green Room again as Patseen and I ride on this elevator once again! (audience applauds as we enter the elevator while Antonio walks out of the shot) (click click click click click click) The eighth floor is our first stop in this match... (ding ding) ...where you start off on the right side of the floor Patseen -- let's see what that gives you -- please light up eight right!
(bling) (scattered applause) Okay, well coulda been better, coulda been worse! Had you gone lefty here, what would it have been? (bling) (audience aaaaahs) Well, it would've been a lot less money, but it also would've been a DO-OVER card, so that's too bad. Onwards and upwards we go to floor 16! (ding ding) You chose the right side here as well -- do we have even more money for you I wonder -- let's see podium 16R, please!
(bling) (audience murmurs) Well, not a good choice there, but still not a bad time to get that if you have to take it -- you lost only $6,000 there so not too bad. On the left, there was... (bling) ...a buck, so all in all, a manageable loss there. Our final stop before decision time is all the way down to the second... (ding ding) ...where you chose the left side for the first time in this match -- let's hope it's lucky for you -- light it up, please!
(bling) (audience cheers and applauds) Oh, great pick at a great time, Patseen! A quarter-million dollars!!! Very nice, indeed. Right side this time was concealing... (bling) (continued applause)
...just four grand.
Well Patseen, this is a decision to ponder for a moment or two. You have no DO-OVERs and the "GAME OVER" is still in play as is the "-100%" and there's no guarantee that Antonio will once again have unbelievable success with this Tower, so $252,000 may be more than enough to win this match. On the other hand, there's lots of loot left up there that could push your total into 7-digits or beyond. You'd have to get through those final 3 floors safely to do that, though.
So, what'll it be Patseen? Stop now with just over a quarter-mil or risk it and keep going?
