(audience murmurs) Kevin wants to gamble a bit more, so we're heading up to the 19th floor! Before we do, I need to correct an error I made on this floor. I should not have offered you to stop as you can only stop and take the money after visiting 3 or 6 floors. This was the 4th floor that we have visited. So my bad there sorry about that. It doesn't matter though, up we go! (ding ding) Kevin took the right side of this floor -- looking for big money -- have we got some over there?
(bling) (audience cheers) I'll say we do! Another quarter mil for you Kevin for a total of $441,101!! Over on the left side, what did we have? (bling) (audience ooooohs and applauds)
Nothing at all!
Well, big decision time now, Kevin. You do have a DO-OVER card that you can use right now if you want, but it expires if we head down and check out the first floor. In that case, whatever score you finish up with after we reveal your selection on the first floor is your final score for this match.
Or, we head to the lobby right now and throw the almost half-million dollars away.
What is your decision, Kevin? Go for it or start over!?

Kevin says no to the DO-OVER this time and is going for it! Let's head to the first floor!! (audience cheers) (ding ding) This is it, unless you find that "Random 4" right now as that is the ultimate DO-OVER and would still allow you to start over if you wished!
You went on the right side again on this floor -- let's light...it...up!
(bling) (audience cheers) It's an additional quarter of your score Kevin bringing you to over half a million dollars!!!! Well done, sir! What was on the other side? (bling) (audience oooooohs) A big loss of money, that's what was over there! A great pick and some gutsy play to go all the way, Kevin! Let's head down to the lobby and make it official!! (ding ding) (audience applauds as Kevin and I step out of the elevator and the doors close behind us)
Well, it was far short of enough to get you into the Final, but that is a nice chunk of change there and should prove difficult to beat! How do you feel about this result, Kevin?

Well, we shall find out shortly whether it does last or not. For now, let's take a look at our current scoreboard... (ding) Music begins to playKevin, we'll have you stand by in the Green Room momentarily and when we come back, our 4th contestant, Patseen Punsiri will get his first crack at it! Don't go anywhere -- you're watching the Tower Challenge here on NGC! (audience applauds and we zoom and fade out)

(fade in and zoom in with audience applause)
Welcome back to the Tower Challenge everyone! I'm here with Patseen Punsiri, our second player in our second Finalist Match! Patseen, we've seen from our other three contestants three very different results. Sam struggled to get anything going and wound up with just a 4-digit total. Your opponent just did pretty well, finishing with a 6-digit total and then we have Antonio who made 6 terrific floor choices and ended up with an 8-digit total.
You've been waiting patiently watching all of this in our Green Room -- I hope the snacks are good back there at least -- are you ready to take on the tower?

Interesting choices, Patseen! Let's see how they work out for you -- let's step into the elevator and select your floors! (audience applauds as we enter the elevator) (click click click click click click) We begin by going straight to the penthouse... (ding ding) ...where you selected the left side, which got you...
(bling) (smattering of applause) ...well, four grand! It could have been worse, that's for sure. Over in the other penthouse suite, we had... (bling) ...+25%, but of course that would have been 25% of nothing = nothing. Too early to find that one, but at least it's the lowest of the positive percentages. Let's head all the way down to the first floor now and see what we find there! (ding ding) You went right side this time -- and for that, you are awarded...
(bling) (audience murmurs) ...half of what was at the penthouse! On the first floor, we are eliminating... (bling) ...the $1,000 space. So, you're 2 for 2 in terms of picking the right spaces, but they just haven't amounted to much of a reward. Let's head back upstairs to the 20th! (ding ding) Let's see if we can't get up into some big money on this floor -- please light up that right podium!
(bling) (audience groans) Yikes -- just one measly dollar! We're going the wrong way on the money list here, Patseen! Over on the left side, we got rid of... (bling) (audience applauds)
Oh, an excellent elimination there -- as long as you don't hit "GAME OVER", you're guaranteed some score now at least.
Well, you picked the correct side on all 3 floors Patseen, it's just that they didn't have much on them in terms of bucks. Since you don't have a DO-OVER and you don't have enough cash to win the match, we obviously have to visit the final 3 floors and hope for some big money. There's lots of good stuff still in play -- 3 of the 4 positive percentages, all of the DO-OVERs, the "Add a 0" and the "Add a 1" and all of the biggest cash awards. This could still turn out pretty good Patseen, what do you think?

Well, let's hope for big bucks and no G.O. as we head down to the second... (ding ding) We're going right side on this floor -- let's light up that right podium, please!
(bling) (smattering of aaaahs and applause) Hmm, well, it's another ten grand at least, but you'd have wanted that with a few more digits on the board. Over on the left, what did we have? (bling) (audience ooooooohs) Yeah, in this case, that would have helped you more, Patseen. There's still enough up there to beat Kevin's score, though...let's head back upstairs... (ding ding) The million or even half-million would be a thing of beauty right about now. You went left here on the 19th...let's light that one up, please!
(bling) (audience applauds) Ok...alright...that's more like it! Across the hall this time was... (bling) (audience applauds) ...only $8K! So really, that's 4 out of 5 floors where you chose the correct side. You now have a 6-digit score and as far as I can see, 3 ways to win the match. The $500,000 would do it. The $1,000,000 would do it. The "Add a 0" would do it. The only other thing you could hope for would be to find the ultimate DO-OVER card down on the 3rd floor (the "Random 4") which would let you start over. One floor to go, Patseen! I wish you luck as we head down to the third... (ding ding) Will it be Kevin or Patseen in the Semi-Final? Let's light up that right podium and find out!
(bling) (audience groans) It will be Kevin I'm afraid Patseen, as your match will end with a total of $141,065! You made some good picks there, it's just the tower doesn't always reward people for good picks and you fell victim to that. Out of curiosity, what was on the other side of the 3rd floor? (bling) (audience murmurs) Well, another nice bit of dough there, but it wouldn't have won you the match anyway. I'm afraid we have to head to the lobby and make it official now, Patseen. (ding ding) (audience applauds Patseen as he and I emerge from the elevator and the doors close behind us)
Well, that's how it goes with this tower sometimes, Patseen. Unlike some of your opponents, it decided to not shower you with cash or give you a second chance, but all is not lost sir, for another chance is what you are about to get!
Music begins to play(ding) You might get another opportunity to defeat Kevin, but to do that, you must first take care of Sam in our Last Chance Match where sadly, one of you will be leaving us. We'll have Sam join us from the Green Room for that, right after this message! You're watching the Tower Challenge here on NGC!
(audience applauds as the camera zooms and fades out)

Welcome back to the Tower Challenge, folks! I'm here with Sam Ryan and Patseen Punsiri and we're about to start our 3rd match of the show, known as the "Last Chance Match" because unfortunately, one of you two gentlemen will be eliminated from the show whereas the winner will take on Kevin in the Semi-Final with the winner of that match taking on Antonio in the Final.
Sam, the Tower has been the least kind to you so far, so one could say you are due for a big result here -- what are your thoughts heading into this match?

Well, I wish you luck Sam and just saw that it is your birthday today! Altogether audience....1....2....3.... (Patseen and I and the audience sing "Happy Birthday" song to Sam)
Patseen, this time around you're the higher seed, so it's your choice -- set the pace or sit back and let the birthday boy sweat it out. Who goes first, Patseen?

Interesting! We shall see if this strategy pays off or not, Patseen. Enjoy the snacks and there's some birthday cake there as well, although I suppose technically Sam should eat the first piece! We'll see you for the second-half of this match, Patseen.
(audience applauds as Patseen exits backstage and out of the shot)
Ok Sam, let's make it a real Happy Birthday for you! Which 6 floors and sides would you like, please?

Alright, let's do this! (audience applauds as Sam and I enter the elevator) (click click click click click click) Fifth floor is the first stop... (ding ding) Sam went left side to begin this match...let's see what's over there on the left...
(bling) (audience applauds) Nice, Sam! Right off the bat, it's a DO-OVER card! (ding) Behind the other podium on this floor, what did we have? (bling) (audience applauds)
Only sixty-four bucks over there.
So, this is a nice position to be in to start with, Sam. Your DO-OVER card can be cashed in now or over the next 4 floors that we visit. Pretty much everything is still available in this one, so might be premature to start over now, but you can if you like. Of course, I must point out that the "GAME OVER" is still there somewhere and if you find that, it nullifies the DO-OVER card, so keep that in mind.
What do you say, Sam? Keep going or start over?

On we go! (audience applauds) (ding ding) Right side this time...let's light up that right podium, please!
(bling) (audience murmurs) Well, basically nothing over there. Had you gone left twice in a row, let's see what your total would have been? (bling) (audience gasps)
Ouch, not good to lose a 6-digit amount, but there's lots of money still up there. What do you think now Sam, continue or back to the lobby?

Up the tower we go... (ding ding) We're going left side this time -- please light it up!
(bling) (audience aaaaaahs) Well, you still haven't found any significant money on this tower! Over on the right, what did he have this time? (bling) (scattered applause)
Well, you got twice as much as you could have is how to look at this floor.
This is a stop floor Sam, so your 3 choices this time are stop and take the $809, head up to the 16th to see what's there or back to the lobby to start over.
What's your pleasure this time, sir?

(audience murmurs) Sam's cashing in his DO-OVER, so we'll head down to the lobby in a second, but let's see what might have been. Continuing up a floor would have got you... (audience moans) Yikes, a nice pile o' cash, that's what it would have got you. If you'd then continued up to the 20th, you'd have had another... ...well, just ten grand or so and not another DO-OVER since you already had one of the same type. From there, the penthouse would have yielded... (audience groans) Oh Sam, another half-mil!! As it turns out, that would have been a pretty good score, but who knows, hopefully the Tower's got some good plans for you this time around. Back to the lobby we go... (ding ding) (audience applauds as Sam and I emerge and the doors close behind us)
Ok Sam, we'll have to hope that there's at least 7 digits in your future instead of 6! Speaking of 6, your floors and sides for this turn, if you please.

Alright, good luck Sam -- let's try this again! (audience applauds as we enter the elevator) (click click click click click click) A quick hop up one floor is our first stop. You started off with a DO-OVER last time -- what do we get this time? (bling) (audience ooooohs) Well, at least it is +25% of nothing instead of +100%! Your first elimination is... (bling) (scattered applause) ...only $1,000 so that's a decent elimination there. Still no dough though, bro...to the 7th floor we go... (ding ding) We're going left side here on the 7th....show us some money, please!
(bling) (audience applauds) Ok, well maybe my bad there, I should have said show us a gigantic pile o' cash, please! Still though, sixty-four grand is nothing to sneeze at. Across the hall, we had... (bling) (audience aaaaaaahs) Well, it's a DO-OVER and that would have been nice to have. Money-wise though, it was the right choice. Let's go up 4 flights and check out the 11th... (ding ding) You started right side, then went left side and now we're right side again. Someone flick the switch for 11R, please and thank you!
(bling) (audience cheers and applauds) It's "Add a 1" giving you an additional $100,000 Sam! Nice one there!! Over on the other side, we had... only eight K, so a great choice on this floor!
Well Sam, this is your 3rd selected floor, so it's decision time again. It's another 6-digit total up on the board, granted not as nice as the previous one you had. This time you don't have a DO-OVER at this point, so your choices are stop now and take $164,000 or we proceed on and visit the final 3 floors. Keep in mind that "GAME OVER" and all the negative percentages are still in play, but of course, all the biggest dollar values and 3 of the 4 positives are in play, too.
What do you want to do Sam?
