Ok, up to the penthouse we go... (ding ding) It's the left side this time....light it up, please!
(bling) (audience applauds) Excellent Sam -- it's the ULTIMATE DO-OVER card!! (ding) This now gives you the freedom to start over whenever you like. The penthouse elimination is... (bling) (audience applauds)
A good one, just five hundred bucks.
Keep going or start over -- what's your pleasure, Sam?

Down a flight we go... (ding ding) You took the left side of the 20th floor...light that one up, please!
(blings) (audience aaaahs) Well, nothing doing for you on this floor, Sam. Let's have a look see what you got rid of this time... (bling) (audience groans)
Oh man, you picked the wrong side of this floor, unfortunately.
Well, one floor to go and from the looks of it, two shots at getting a 7-digit total, that being either finding the million bucks or the "Add a 0". Since it is an ULTIMATE DO-OVER card that you have, you can continue on to the 17th to check it out and if you want, record your score at that point, see how Patseen does and then cash in your DO-OVER if Patseen beats you. You can also just start over right now if you want because don't forget, "GAME OVER" still looms.
Another floor or start over -- whaddaya say, Sam?

(audience cheers Sam on) With "GAME OVER" in play, Sam's risking it, folks! To the 17th we go... (ding ding) You chose the right side of this floor and for choosing that, you receive...
(bling) (audience groans) A whopping two bucks! Well, you avoided "GAME OVER" at least -- on this final floor, you eliminated... (bling) (scattered applause)
Wow, a grand total of $2 on that floor!
So Sam, like your first turn, it's once again a 6-digit score albeit a lot less than that first one was. You are still holding an ULTIMATE DO-OVER card, which if you wish, gives you the luxury of temporarily recording this score, letting Patseen play to see if he beats you and then if he does, you can still start over.
Or, if you're just not happy with this result, you can cash in the card and start over right now.
So are you stopping with $192,053 or are we starting over immediately -- what sayest thee, sir Sam?

Down to the lobby we go... (ding ding) (audience applauds as Sam and I exit the elevator and the doors close behind us)
Ok Sam, you are cashing in the ULTIMATE DO-OVER card and choosing another 6 floors and sides! Good luck, sir -- which ones would you like this time around?

Okay, here we go again... (audience applauds as we enter the elevator) (click click click click click) The fifth floor is our first stop this time...
(ding ding) You're starting on the right side this time around...let's hope for something good as we light that one up...
(bling) (scattered applause) Well, no money, but getting rid of that one now is a good thing -- too bad it wasn't the -100% though. Over on the elimination side, what did we have? (bling) (audience groans) Yep, it was the wrong side of this floor, Sam. Well, let's see what's on the 9th for you... (ding ding) Left side here on the 9th...let's see some cash please, light it up!
(bling) (audience applauds) Well, thirty-four bucks, but yet another DO-OVER card!! This is a regular one, so it must be used no later than, in this case, the 14th floor. (ding) The elimination this time was... (bling) (audience chuckles)
...just $2 less than the other side!!
Well, we'd better send some more snacks to the Green Room cause Sam and I are gonna be here a while with all these DO-OVERs!! (audience chuckles)
You know the drill by now Sam -- continue to the 10th or back to the lobby to start over? What would you like to do?

We go up one floor to the 10th... (ding ding) ...where we are looking for some big bucks, this time on the right side of the floor...please light up ten right!
(bling) (scattered applause) Not exactly what I would call big bucks unfortunately, Sam. Across the hall, what was there? (bling) (audience moans)
Now, there's some big bucks.
Well, other than the DO-OVER, there's not much happening for you on this turn so far. I'm sure you don't want to stop and take $98, but since this is the 3rd visited floor, you can do that at this point. The $1,000,000 is still in play, as are all the positive percentages as well as the "Add a 0" and "Add a 1", so still potential for a large score. Of course, 3 of 4 negative percentages and "GAME OVER" are still in play, too.
What shall it be, Sam? Stop and take ninety-eight bucks, continue up to the 12th or down to the lobby to start over?

Okay, Sam is cashing in yet another DO-OVER card, so we're headed to the lobby in a second. Had you continued, this is what you would have gotten... (bling) (audience ooooohs) Yep, you had the wrong side of the 12th as well... (bling) (audience chuckles) Double nothings on the 14th... (bling) (audience applauds your decision) ...and just eight bucks on the 16th! That's almost hard to believe...6 picks and only $130! So, great choice to start over there, Sam! Lobby, here we come... (ding ding) (audience continues to applaud)
Okay Sam, here we are at the lobby once again -- I'm implementing a new rule as of right now -- if you get another DO-OVER, you're automatically disqualified! (audience chuckles)
I'm kidding, of course! Which 6 floors and sides would you like this time, Sam?

(audience applauds as we enter the elevator) Let's try again Sam, here we go... (click click click click click click) The first stop this time is the first floor... (ding ding) We're starting off on the left side this time around...let's light up podium 1L, please...
(bling) (scattered applause) Well, similar to the last start, having a score of $0 is obviously the best time to get rid of the negative percentages! Over on the right, what did we have? (bling) (audience ooooohs) Well, a decent amount of money, but nothing too huge there. Up we go to the 14th... (ding ding) ...where you chose the right side on this floor. Please light it up!
(bling) (scattered applause) Ok, well ditto there, that's 2 of them gone, so that's a good thing, but did it cost you any cash again? What's on the left side, please? (bling) (audience applauds) No, it didn't this time! Great choice there, Sam, but still no dough on the scoreboard. Let's see if there's some for you up in the penthouse! (ding ding) You went left, then right, now left again. 21L...please light it up!
(bling) (audience murmurs) Not the time to find that one, that's for sure. On the right side of the penthouse, we had... (bling) (scattered applause)
Just a buck!
Well Sam, not a heck of a lot happening for you this time around. You have no DO-OVER as yet, so it's stop now and take ten bucks or visit the final 3 floors. I'm sure you want to continue, but I must wait and have you confirm it for me. What do you say, Sam?

(audience chuckles) Well, that's the one thing that nobody has selected yet, but let's hope that trend continues! To the 20th floor we go... (ding ding) You chose the right podium here on this floor...let's see what that gets you...
(bling) (scattered applause) Okay, at least we're up to 4 digits now. Had you went left here, you'd have gotten... (bling) (audience moans) Hmm, sad to see that space go, but there's still a chance for a nice total if you can find that million bucks! Your next stop is the 17th floor... (ding ding) We're gonna finish up on the left side on both this floor and the 15th...let's hope it's the lucky left for you...light it up, please!
(bling) (scattered applause) Well, you get about another two grand for that -- right side of the 17th was concealing... (bling) (scattered applause) ...just five hundred dollars, so good choice there. We're hoping for 1 of 2 selections on your last floor...either the $1,000,000 or the ULTIMATE DO-OVER! (ding ding) After all those chances Sam, it comes down to this selection...let's hope it's a big one...light...it...up!
(bling) (audience groans) Not to be, I'm afraid Sam and after all this, had you finished off your first trip up the tower, it would have been your best total after all. Right side of 15 contained... (bling) Well, a thousand, but no big difference as it turns out. We have to go to the lobby now and make it official, Sam... (ding ding) (audience applauds same for his effort) Well Sam, as happened to you in your first match, you can end up with a score lower than this, so you might just win this yet! We shall soon see! (ding)
Music begins to playIs Patseen destined for a rematch with Kevin or will Sam's six grand hold up after all? We'll find out after a word from one of our sponsors! You're watching the Tower Challenge here on NGC! (applause as the camera zooms out from Sam and I showing a wide shot of the studio and then fades out)

(fade in and zoom in with applause)
We are back on the Tower Challenge and I am standing here with Patseen Punsiri who is about to play his half of our Finalist Match. After a wild ride up and down the tower, Sam proved that it is not always in your best interest to cash in those do-overs. If he had finished his first turn and not started over, your task would be much more difficult than it is, Patseen. As it stands, if you can earn at least $6,018 right now, you'll be headed to the Semi-Final and a rematch with Kevin.
Are you ready to play, Patseen? If so, your floors and sides please, sir.

I hope you don't either, Patseen -- good luck! (audience applauds as we enter the elevator) (click click click click click click) For your first stop, you chose the 6th floor... (ding ding) ...and you've gone with the left podium on this floor...please light that one up!
(bling) (audience murmurs) Well, no harm no foul I guess is how we judge that, Patseen -- had you chosen the right side, what would you have received? (bling) (audience aaaaahs) Well, four thousand dollars which normally isn't much, but in this case would have been more than halfway to winning the match! That's okay though, plenty of floors remaining...next stop is the 15th! (ding ding) On this floor, you chose the right side, so can we please light up podium 15R!
(bling) (scattered applause) Well, it's literally better than nothing like you had on the 6th floor -- across the hall, what was there? (bling) (scattered applause) In this case, it was a good choice, Patseen -- it's nice to get those positive percentages when you have a large total up there, but there's still 3 of them in play! Our last stop before decision time is down two floors to the 13th... (ding ding) You are sticking with the right side on this floor -- let's see what's in store for you with that choice -- please light it up!
(bling) (audience applauds) Oh Patseen! It's the "Random 4" which gives you a 5-digit total and gives you an ULTIMATE DO-OVER card!! (ding) If you'd taken the other side of 13, you'd have instead wound up with... (bling) (audience applauds)
...just under two hundred bucks!
So, this is a very interesting choice you have here, Patseen. You have the ULTIMATE DO-OVER card, which you can use whenever you want and which you can carry forward. Since this is the 3rd visited floor, you can stop right now and you'd win the match! Of course, the tower may have a bigger total in mind for you if you continue on, but "GAME OVER" remains, which would wipe you right off the show at this point if you found it.
You can start over right now if you want, you can stop which would win you this match and your ULTIMATE DO-OVER card would be valid in the Semi-Final against Kevin or we can carry on and try for a larger score, but you would have to visit the remaining 3 floors to do it.
What shall we do, Patseen?

(audience oooohs and applauds) I'm with you audience -- Patseen is risking the win and continuing on -- here we go, 18th floor is the next stop... (ding ding) ...where you went on the left side and got...
(bling) (audience aaaaaahs) ...nothing! Over on the other side, what was there? (bling) (audience groans)
Oh, that would have been sweet, Patseen! Your score is still the same, but your choices now are continue on or start over? Which shall it be?

(audience applauds) On we go then, down to the 4th floor! (ding ding) We're looking for some large amount, this time on the right side of the floor -- let's light up four right, please!
(bling) (audience applauds) Well done, Patseen! About seventeen thousand dollars more there! Across the hall on the fourth, we had... (bling) (audience groans)
...a hundred grand, that's what we had!! Well, your score could have been much higher than it is, but there's one floor to go. 3 of the 4 negatives still in play, the "GAME OVER" still in play, the $1,000,000 still in play, the "Add a 0" still in play -- could be really good or could be very bad, too!
What shall it be, Patseen -- up to the 19th to record a score or down to the lobby to start over?

(audience applauds) Patseen is going for it -- to the 19th floor we go!!! (ding ding) With Sam's fate hanging in the balance, this is your 6th and final floor -- and you chose the right side this time -- light...up...that...podium!
(bling) (audience cheers and applauds) IT'S THE MILLION DOLLARS!!!! Way to go, Patseen! You hung in there and it has paid off tremendously!!! Had you chosen the left side, what would it have been? (bling) (audience continues cheering and applauding)
Wow, look at that -- literally the definition of all or nothing!!
Well Patseen, as ridiculous a question as this might be, I must ask you -- is one million eighty-seven thousand five hundred thirty-one dollars enough or shall we start over? You still have that ULTIMATE DO-OVER card and if you're bold enough, you could pick 6 more floors, throw away this cash, start again and try for an even larger total.
What do you say Patseen -- are you ready for a rematch against Kevin or do you want to begin again?
