At long last, time to get on a roll. Some notes are in order.
\ Kourtney Wilson returns having won four matches and $157,835 in cash and merchandise. He's trying to become a five-time champion and, if that happens, he'll retire. (Maybe we'll have a tournament of champions down the road.)
\ Should Kourtney sweep both games in the match, he could win more than $200,000 and a trip to Hawaii. If his challenger sweeps both games, said challenger, obviously, becomes the new champ and could win up to $180,000 in cash, a new car and the trip.
Now it's time to find Kourtney's challenger. The player closest to the right answer to this question, high or low, gets to play. The question...
Before the show, Wally did his best impression of CECIL from "Countdown". What three-digit number did Wally randomly generate? The correct answer is higher than 100 and lower than 1000.
This game operates on 24-hour deadlines. Please PM me your answer in 24 hours from now.

(time passes) Okay, the answers are in. Let's see the number Wally as CECIL came up with. (ding) ...962. Heh, watch one of today's models reveal an inverted T on the game board. Anyhoo, who's the closest? 898 bryan
Bryan Law's going to try to start a winning streak of his own. We'll get on a roll after station identification. Staff announcer: Thanks for watching WBKB. (vamp to opening theme)Tiffany Phillips: Our current champion has won... ...four matches -- as well as a... ...brand new car -- and... ...lots of money. To say the least, Kourtney Wilson is... ...ON A ROLL! (opening theme plays; audience cheers) Joining us at the game board is, from "The Young and the Restless", Alicia Coppola. Our dice girl for Game 1 is, also from "The Young and the Restless", Melissa Ordway. And here's our host, ready to get on a roll, Doug Morris! Doug: Thanks, Tiffany. Hellooo, everybody, and welcome to On A Roll. Indeed, we have a champ who's been on quite the roll. We'll meet him shortly. First, let's meet our guest models today from, as we say around here, Y&R. Melissa Ordway, welcome. Melissa: Thank you, Doug. I'm glad to be here. Doug: Now -- this isn't your first game show rodeo. Melissa: Been on Price is Right many times. Doug: You do a great job there -- and I know you'll do well here. I'm also confident our other guest model from Y&R will do well. Hi, Alicia. Alicia: Hello, Doug and everybody. Doug: This *also* isn't your first game show either. Applaud if you folks in the crowd remember her -- on Remote Control! (audience cheers)Alicia: You do remember. Thank you. Doug: Ladies, I wish we could chat more -- but we have an important match to get to. So, let's meet today's rollers. (theme plays; audience applause)Kourtney Wilson and Bryan Law are joining Melissa and me at the dice table. Kourtney has won four matches, thus far, and $157,835 in cash and merchandise. (audience cheers) Roughly half of that total is cash, the other half is a new car. Kourtney, as you know, this is your fifth and final match with us -- per network rules. So, before we begin the competition, we give you a chance to send shout-outs to friends and loved ones.

Nice to have you with us from the Golden Triangle of Mississippi. I've been to Columbus, Starkville and West Point many times. Kourtney and Bryan, again, good luck -- as we start the match with a main game. We'll play a sample name game first, for Bryan's benefit. (FF reveal sfx)This name game hides a seven-letter last name of a famous person. We'd then reveal three letters in the last name after I read this clue. He was already on a roll -- when he hosted "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire". (ding)When letters pop in, you may buzz in to take a guess. A right answer earns four rolls of the dice. A wrong answer means your opponent gets three more letters... He was already on a roll -- when he hosted "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire". (ding)...and a free guess. And I think you know the answer by now. (ding)Philbin -- as in Regis Philbin. So now that you know how name games work, Kourtney and Bryan, here's the first actual name game. (FF reveal sfx)Nine letters in this famous person's last name. Here's the clue. He was already on a roll -- when he became mayor of New York City. (ding)
(Kourtney and Bryan, please PM me your answer and a buzz code from 1-100. Thanks.)

14 pathfinder20 98 bryan 13 random.org (Kourtney buzzes in) Kourtney? Kourtney: BLOOMBERG (dings; audience applause) That's it. Michael Bloomberg. All right, Kourtney, as you know, it's four rolls for you. Let's load up the board for Game 1, please. (FF reveal sfx; Alicia poses by numbered and blocked spaces) Okay, we have a two-word clue in the top row, another two-word clue in the middle and a one-word clue at the bottom row. Kourtney, as you know, you'll uncover as many of those letters as you can -- with the numbers and sums that you roll. The letters that are blocked by question marks stay blocked until you correctly solve a clue. As always, please be careful and do *not* roll doubles. If you throw doubles, Bryan takes command of the round, the remaining rolls and a free letter along the way. (Melissa hands Kourtney the dice) Thank you, Melissa. Kourtney -- you -- are on roll. (Kourtney rolls)(audience groans) (buzz) What!?!? Double right off the bat? Sorry, Kourtney, but you don't get anything for a pair. Audience: Not in this game. Well, Bryan, that means you inherit the remaining three rolls. But first... ...you may take one free letter. Please select any numbered space that's not blocked.

(Yup. Realized that myself. Should be fixed.) (Alicia touches screen) And you get an I. Bryan, I know it's early -- but you may guess the middle clue or roll again. Remember, if you take a guess on a clue on the game board or the overall puzzle and it's wrong, no penalty. You're still on a roll provided there is at least one roll left in a round.

All right, second roll's yours. (Bryan rolls)And it's a 2 and a 6. Bryan, you're new here. So I should explain. You may take and 2 and any 6 off the board -- and they don't have to be on the same line. Or you may play the sum -- and take any 8 off the board.

I like how you go "Now You See It" on us when you call the middle row "Line 2". (Alicia touches screen)We now see an R... (Alicia touches screen)...and we now see an E. Bryan, you may guess the middle clue or take the last roll of the round.

Gonna try it one last time this round. (Bryan rolls)And it's good -- a 1 and a 6... ...or -- well -- a 7. You're in a *little* bit of a pickle, Bryan. One 6 is already gone and the other 6 is blocked. You're still allowed to take any 1 *or* play the sum and take either 7. So -- how do you play it?

Doug: Line 2, position 7 gives us... (Alicia touches screen) ...9 points. (scattered laughter from the crowd) Only kidding -- a T. Melissa: I -- don't remember "Now You See It". Doug: Thanks for making me feel old, Liss. (scattered laughter from the crowd) I'll tell you about it later. Bryan, as for you, you may guess the middle clue. If you're right, you'll have a chance to win the game. If you're wrong or want to pass, we'll play another name game.

(TPiR Pathfinder wrong move sfx) Our unfriendly buzzer says that's wrong. Good try considering what you had to play with. All right, we're out of roll, Bryan. Please head back to your buzzer. Kourtney, you're back in for this next name game. (FF reveal sfx)Ten letters in this famous person's last name. Here's why the person's famous. He's been on a roll -- ever since "Knight Rider" and "Baywatch". (ding)
(Kourtney and Bryan, please PM me your answer and a buzz code from 1-100.)

(No response in time from Kourtney -- so...) (Bryan buzzes in) Bryan? Bryan: Hasselhoff (dings; audience applause)That's it. David Hasselhoff. I'm not sure if our mics picked it up. But if you heard a sigh of relief, it was from our network censor. He was scared the second, third and fourth letters were going to be revealed. (scattered laughter from the crowd) *Nearly* happened when 2, 3 and 10 were revealed. In any event, Bryan, step back into the box, please, and take the first of your four rolls. (Bryan rolls)And -- low numbers to start -- a 1 and a 2... ...or a 3.

All right, second roll coming up. (Bryan rolls)And -- seems like we've seen this movie before. A 1 and a 6 or a 7. The sixes are still gone and blocked. You may still take the 7 in the top row, the 1 in the middle row or the 1 in the bottom row -- then take a guess at that row's clue. First -- please take a number.
