(dings; audience cheers) You do have this. Now -- the question is do you have the puzzle solution? You have the right to guess the puzzle, Bryan. If you're right, you win the game. If you're wrong or want to pass, you're still on a roll.

Gotcha. Well, if you managed to reveal everything in the top row, except for the block, your thinking might have gone toward another game show. People often ask us why we block certain letters. Here's why. Folks in the control room, please leave the block up in the top row and just reveal the numbered spaces. (FF reveal sfx) Steve and "arvey". Not seeing the first letter of the last name, you *might* think of a certain king of comedy who hosts "Family Feud", which also has a three strikes element. But the blocked letter isn't H. Now, please reveal the blocked letter at the top and everything in the bottom row. (FF reveal sfx) Steve *Garvey*, the former major leaguer. Played for the Dodgers for many years. Him, three strikes and baseball certain pinpoint to baseball. Well solved by Bryan. Stand by, please, your money roll is on the way. Kourtney, it's not that you did anything wrong. You rolled a double right off the bat and Bryan just took the ball the rest of the way for a touchdown. You'll have a chance to make a comeback. Meantime, Melissa's going to walk you to that comfy chair in the front row. We'll see you later for Game 2, Kourtney. (audience cheers) Okay, Brian. Your first money roll is coming up shortly. This determines the maximum amount of money you could win in the Lucky 7 game. The sum of the roll will be multiplied by $5000. Doubles are okay to roll here. And if you roll double sixes, you're playing for $60,000. (scattered cheers and woos) So, good luck, Brian and give 'em a roll. (Bryan rolls) (audience cheers) Got a 6 total for $30,000. We'll play a $30,000 game of Lucky 7 -- after this. (theme plays; audience cheers) (theme plays)

Bryan Law has won Game 1 of today's match -- and has won the right to play Lucky 7. Bryan, for the next few moments, tens of thousands of dollars in cash and a new car can be yours with the help of -- Wally. (theme plays; audience applause)Wally, say hello to Bryan. Your *cousin* was on "Now You See It", Wally? (audience laughs) Oh -- of course -- he was the computerized game board. Wally, may we have the numbers for the Lucky 7 game, please? (FF reveal sfx)Thank you. Bryan, since this is your first trip to Lucky 7, I should explain how this works. To win the big money, you must eliminate those numbers, 4 through 10 inclusive, by rolling our dice. Anytime the sum of your roll matches one of those numbers, that number disappears and you score $500. If you repeat one of those sums, you score $50 without penalty and you're still on a roll. Any roll of 3 or 11 is wild. That gives you the power to eliminate one of the remaining numbers *or* take a token for the car game. For solving the puzzle earlier, you already have earned... (ding)...one token. Since you solved that puzzle with just one clue fully exposed, you earn a second token. (ding)As you get on a roll, you're allowed to collect a total of four tokens. When you get down to one number on the board, Wally will then give you five tries to match that last number -- and it has to be done naturally. If you can clear all seven sums, look right into that camera and tell the free world how much money you'll win in total.

(audience cheers) Now with all this good news, there's also bad news to deliver, Bryan. And irony of ironies, they involve strikes. In the main game, you solved a puzzle based on "three strikes" as a clue. Just like that main game, you want to avoid rolling doubles here. Any double means you're assessed one strike and you can't eliminate a number. Three strikes and the game ends -- but you keep what you've won. (Melissa hands Bryan the dice) Every dollar is important. The more money you score in Lucky 7, the better your chances of coming back tomorrow as the champ. You have the dice from Melissa. You've been given the rules. You're now -- on a roll. (more cheers) (Bryan rolls) (cha-ching) (louder cheers) And great start. Wild roll of 11. Right off the bat, it's decision time. Bryan, you may substitute this sum of 11 for any other sum that's on the board currently. We'd then clear that and you'd have $500 on the scoreboard. Your other option -- take a third token for the car game. While the car or any money from the car game would be nice, it's money in Lucky 7 that counts. So -- clear a number or take a token? (audience shouts suggestions)

He's going to take a third token. (ding) All right. Still allowed a fourth. But let's get some money that counts. You're still on a roll. (audience cheers as...) (Bryan rolls)Four and five make 9 in anyone's language. (ding) On the board with $500. Roll 'em again. (Bryan rolls)The 2 and 4 clear the 6. (ding) $1000 down, only $29,000 and five sums to go. Roll again. (Bryan rolls)(audience groans) (buzz) Oooh -- boxcars give you your first strike. And -- yeah -- a not so dandy dozen, says Wally. All right, just the first strike, Bryan. Roll again. (audience cheers as...) (Bryan rolls)A 5 and 4 again. (ding) Pays $50. You're up to $1050. Roll again, Bryan. (Bryan rolls)The 3 and 5 make the 8 go away. (ding) Just four sums to clear for 30 large. Keep on rollin', Bryan. (Bryan rolls)Another 8 combination. (ding) Fifty bucks more. Up to $1600. Another wild roll would be nice. (Bryan rolls)Eight again. (ding) $1650 and you're still in business. (Bryan rolls)Uh oh. (audience groans) (buzz) Yeah, "gulp" is right. Bryan, one more double and it's game over. Think you can avoid that third double and clean the rest of the board?

(audience cheers) They like your confidence, Bryan. You're still on a roll. (audience continues to cheers as...) (Bryan rolls)Another niner. (ding) Another half a C-note. Up to $1700. (Bryan rolls) Another eighter. (ding) That brings the score up to $1750. (Bryan rolls) Nine again! (ding) $1800. Still looking to clear a 4, 5, 7 and 10. (Bryan rolls) (burst of cheers) There we go! Seven. (ding) Still got three sums to go, Bryan. You're still on a roll. (Bryan rolls) (burst of cheers) Yes! Roll of 10 naturally! (ding) Gotta roll a total of 4 and a total of 5 for $30,000, Bryan. You're still on a roll. (Bryan rolls) Seven again. (ding) Up to $2850. Keep rollin'. (Bryan rolls)A 6. (ding) $2900. (Bryan rolls)There's an 8. (ding) $2950 now. (Bryan rolls)Got *another* 8. (ding) You've made $3000 at the dice table. Can you make more? (Bryan rolls)Third straight 8. (ding) $3050. (Bryan rolls) (buzz; NYSI89 losing horns; audience groans) Fourth straight 8. But, as the "Now You See It" losing horns from the late '80s indicate, it's not the combination you wanted to make. And -- leave it to Wally to conclude this session of Lucky 7 like that -- three strikes and three grand. Well, that'll be the score for Kourtney to beat should he win the next game. Bryan, we now advance to the car game with three tokens. They represent three chances to win this set of wheels. (game board rolls off stage left to reveal Alicia next to car) Tiffany: It's a new Corvette! (car theme from '70s Conc. plays) Tiffany: Bryan, you're playing for this Chevy Corvette Stingray Coupe 3LT. It comes with a 3.2 liter V8 engine, 8 speed paddle shift, the Z51 package, chrome-alloy wheels and much more. It's a prize worth $78,525. Good luck, Bryan! (audience cheers) Yes, indeed, we do wish you good luck as we ask Wally to set up for the car game, please. (FF reveal sfx) Thank you, Wally. Bryan, Wally has randomly hidden the word "car" behind one of those numbers. You'll get to cover three of those numbers with the tokens you earned since winning Game 1. Cover the number that hides "car" -- and the 'Vette is yours. Please pick three numbers to cover -- all at once.

(trip music plays) Tiffany: This week, one of our contestants could win a trip to Hawaii.(audience cheers)Tiffany: From Pleasant Hawaiian Holidays, it's an exciting two-week stay for two in fabulous Waikiki. This unforgettable trip includes luxury accommodations, a car rental, a fabulous luau and an evening with dinner and spectacular fire dancers. We're also adding $5000 in cash to make this dream vacation worth $21,350.(audience cheers) Tiffany: Now back to Doug Morris and more of On A Roll. Thanks, Tiffany. Indeed, it's time for Game 2 of our match. Let's recap the situation. Bryan won the first game in a near blitz. He scored $3000. He also picked up $1500 in the car game -- which doesn't count toward the score of the match. Kourtney, to win this, your fifth and final, match, you must win this game and score more than $3000 at Lucky 7. Our lovely guest models from "The Young and the Restless" have traded places and jobs. Alicia Coppola is with Bryan, Kourtney and me at the table. Melissa Ordway is operating the game board revealing letters in the next set of clues. We'll load the game board in a bit. But first, let's start the second half of the match with a name game. (FF reveal sfx)And it's an eight-letter famous last name. Here's the clue. He's been on a roll -- ever since his talk show went tabloid. (ding)
(Kourtney and Bryan, please PM me your answer as well as a buzz code from 1-100. In case you're stumped, please PM me "pass".)

44 pathfinder 04 bryan 59 random.org (Kourtney buzzes in)Kourtney? Kourtney: Springer. (dings; audience applause)That's it. Jerry Springer. He was a great news reporter and anchor in Cincinnati before he launched the talk show. He was also a mayor and city council member in the city on the banks of the Ohio. But enough about Jerry, Kourtney wants to get back in this match in a big way. Four rolls for you -- and first crack at the puzzle. (FF reveal sfx; Melissa poses by numbered and blocked spaces) Just one word at the top; nine letters in length. We have a four-word clue in the middle row. At the bottom row, a six-letter clue. (Alicia hands Kourtney the dice) Thanks, Alicia. Kourtney, make the best of these rolls -- because you -- are on a roll. (Kourtney rolls)And you start with a 6 and a 2... ...or an 8.

Rollin' again. Second roll coming up. (Kourtney rolls) (audience groans) (buzz) Egads. The dirty look from the snake eyes. You don't get anything for a pair. Audience: Not in this game! Sorry, Kourtney. Please step out of the box. Bryan, please come in. And -- yes -- I've been asked by our executive producer that we should call the rows the top row, middle row and bottom row from this moment forward. We love NYSI. But Line 1, 2, 3 and even 4 belong to that show. Besides -- ya never know -- it might make a comeback. So, Bryan, please take one free letter from a particular *row*.
