(audience cheers) They seem to like this guess much better than the last one. (scattered laughter from the crowd) For the game -- and the match -- is it -- Elsa? (dings; SCSD win theme plays; audience cheers)Judge accepts. We have a new champion. Officially in the credits for the movie "Frozen", she's listed as Queen Elsa of Arendelle. But she's commonly known as just "Elsa" -- the character who definitely knows how to sing "Let It Go". Wow. Dominating performance by Bryan Law. Congratulations. Stand by for your money roll in a bit. Kourtney, after all those nice things you said about us at the start of the show, I feel terrible your swan song ends in shellacking. I tell ya what let's do. We've got extra time after the second car game, right? (floor director says "yes") Good. Kourtney, even though Bryan won the match fair and square, we'd like to give you a shot at that Hawaiian vacation that you would've played for had you won a game here, okay? (audience cheers) Okay. Meantime, please stay here and root the new champ on. Bryan, again our congratulations. Now you get to take the big money roll. Since you just swept the match, this money roll's for $10,000 a point instead of $5000. Clear all seven sums in Lucky 7 and you'll win the amount of the money roll. Roll a big sum, okay? (Bryan rolls) (audience cheers) Nine! That's a biggun alright. Come back and see if Bryan can win $90,000 in Lucky 7 -- when we return. (theme plays; audience cheers) (theme plays)

(audience cheers) Welcome back to On A Roll. Bryan Law certainly lived up to the name of this show. He was on a roll throughout both games -- and now has a chance to win a lot of money. Bryan, you've already played Lucky 7 earlier in the show. So there's really no need for me to repeat the rules. As Wally gives you some encouragement, he's already set up the game. He also gave you a two token head start for the car game to follow. One token's for winning the game and the other's for sweeping the match. If you can make all seven sums on those screens disappear, look right into this camera and tell the world how much more money you'll win.

(audience cheers) That's the spirit. Melissa's given you the dice. Good luck, Brian. Show those numbers who's boss. You -- are on a roll. (audience cheers as...) (Bryan rolls)Starting off with a 5 and 3. Farewell to the sideways infinity. (ding) $500 for that roll. Roll again, please. (Bryan rolls)Rolls a lucky 7 for another $500. (ding) $1000 for you now. Roll 'em again, please. (Bryan rolls) (cha-ching) And we've got a wild roll. Anytime the dice total 3 or 11, you may take another token for the car game... ...or you may clear any of the numbers still up there and get that much closer to $90,000. Will it be a token or a number?

Third token comin' right up. (ding) You're entitled to one more on another wild roll. Meantime, Bryan, you're still on a roll. (audience cheers as...) (Bryan rolls)A 7 again. (ding) That's another $50. (Bryan rolls)The 5 and 1 deep six the 6. (ding) Okay, the outer four numbers are left. Roll 'em again, please. (Bryan rolls) (audience groans) (buzz) Oh, first strike. And indeed you're still in business after that double 5. Let's make a comeback. Roll again. (audience cheers as...) (Bryan rolls)Seven again. (ding) Another $50. Roll 'em again, please. (Bryan rolls)(burst of cheers) New sum -- 5. That's now outta here. (ding) Up to $2100. Three sums away from converting all that money into $90,000. Roll again, please, Bryan. (Bryan rolls)(bigger burst of cheers) Four! That's one of the toughies. That's now gone. (ding) Two big sums are left. Roll 'em. (bigger burst of cheers) Wow! The 5 and 4 mean the 9 go. (ding) And this also means... (ding) ...Alicia, we're yanking the third place player off the air. (audience laughs) (cut to Alicia laughing) Alicia: We sure had some hilarious eliminations. No -- it means, Bryan, you have five tries to roll a 6 and a 4. You have to roll that sum of 10 naturally. If you roll two more doubles or run out of tries, you don't win $90,000. But you still win at least $3100. Do you think you have a 4 and a 6 in you?

Let's do it!

Post by dougmorrisontheair on Jul 21, 2016 13:03:49 GMT -5
I'll take it as a "yes". Five rolls to win 90 grand. Crowd, I tell ya what. Let's start a chant. Since only the 6 and 4 is going to win him the 90 thou, chant those numbers, okay? Six -- four -- six -- four. (audience starts chanting, "Six -- four -- six -- four...") Go to it! (Bryan rolls) (cha-ching) Close! Six and five. That does make for a wild roll. Now -- perhaps this is a silly choice to make -- but I've got to offer this. You may take $50 in lieu of clearing that 10, since you have to do it naturally, or you may take your fourth and final car game token. Regardless of your decision, you'll have four rolls to go. What's your choice? (audience shouts a certain suggestion)

Somehow I had a feeling you'd take the last token. (ding) Okay. Any wild roll from here pays off $50 more. Crowd, remember that chant? (audience cheers -- then claps while chanting, "Six... Four... Six... Four... Six... Four...") They do, Brian. Roll it. (Brian rolls)(lots of "woahs" from the crowd) Close again. (ding) That's $50 for $3150. (audience cheers -- then claps while chanting, "Six... Four... Six... Four... Six... Four...") Three rolls to bring it home. (Bryan rolls)HE GOT IT!!!! Ninety *thousand* dollars are yours, Bryan. I think you owe the crowd a nice big word of thanks for the mojo.

(main game board rolls off stage left to reveal Alicia by car) (audience cheers)The crowd thanks you. Crowd, Bryan could use more mojo as we play the car game. And there it is. Wally's randomly hidden the word "car" in one those screens. You have four tokens to cover as many numbers. Cover the number with the "car"... ...and this fabulous Chevy Corvette Stingray Coupe 3LT is all yours. Bryan, all at once, please pick four numbers.

Okay, Wally, please cover 3, 5, 6 and 7. (ding)We'll go in order from left to right one at a time -- starting with -- 3. Is the "car" there? (buzz) (audience groans)No. Sorry about that. But -- maybe it's down the line a bit at 5. (buzz) (audience groans)Then again -- maybe not. Still two tokens to go. Maybe ya got the car at 6. Wally, give us some good news. (buzz) (audience groans)Rats. Last chance for the car. Maybe it's with the 7. Come on, 7, be lucky for Bryan. (buzz; NYSI89 losing horns; audience groans) Ahhh -- darn it. And there was the car -- at screen number 2. Well, you don't have the Vette, yet. Maybe on the next show. Meantime, Wally, please tell us how much money our new champ has. (FF reveal sfx) (audience cheers) $96,500 -- and a chance to win more on the next show. Meantime, we're going to give our outgoing champ, Kourtney, a chance to win that trip to Hawaii -- after this. (theme plays; audience cheers)

(audience cheers)(fade into Doug, Kourtney, Bryan, Alicia and Melissa standing around the dice table) Welcome back to On A Roll. We're wrapping up a great day for Bryan Law -- who swept the match to the tune of $96,500. (audience cheers)Bryan, this means you'll defend your title for the first time on our next show. Win any game tomorrow -- and you'll play for that Corvette that you were trying to win today. Kourtney, as for you, we want to add to your winnings of $157,835. We'll let you play for the trip to Hawaii we have on offer this week to our main game contestants. To recap what's in the vacation package: two weeks for two in Waikiki, luxury hotel accommodations, a car rental, a great luau, $5000 spending cash and much more. Value of the trip -- $21,350. (audience cheers)And it's all yours if you can win our version of the game -- Joker. (FF reveal sfx)(scattered groans) Now now -- give this a chance, peeps. Kourtney, Wally has randomly hidden a joker plus four aces in those numbered screens. You want to find the joker with one of the tokens you'll receive. You'll get your tokens from rolling a dice cube. Now, anytime you roll a 5 or a 6, you instantly win $50 and you roll again. But if you roll a number less than 5, Wally will give you the number of tokens equal to the number you rolled. So -- a roll of 1 gives you just one token. But a 4 gives you four tokens. (scattered cheers) Ready to try, Kourtney?

Okay, Wally, please cover 2, 3 and 4. (ding)Okay -- and look what Wally's offering as a bailout -- $3000. That's $1000 for each token you just placed on the board. Kourtney, you may end the game right now and ice your cake with $3000 -- or we can reveal a card and hope you found the joker. Take the money or go for the trip? (audience shouts suggestions)

(audience cheers)What he's trying to tell me is this. "Doug, I already have $157,835 in loot." (audience laughs) "The three grand you offered at the start is chump change." (audience laughs) And -- I just realized *I* added a NYSI reference to this show. Well -- I do hope we do add that Hawaii trip to your winnings. Wally -- please show us a joker in screen number 4. (dings; SCSD win theme plays; audience cheers)Got it! And -- what an appropriate reaction from Wally. We'll total up your winnings as we say goodbye to you. Wally, please prove to the world you did have the other two aces up there. (FF reveal sfx)There ya go. Clubs and diamonds were at 1 and 5, respectively. Well, Kourtney, let's crunch the final numbers for you. About $85,000 cash, the trip you just won and the new car you won last week all comes out to... (FF reveal sfx) (audience cheers) Now -- just watch every four-time champ who gets blitzed in the fifth and final match tells us they want a try at Hawaii. (scattered laughter from the crowd) We'll worry about that when we cross those bridges. Kourtney, enjoy all the money and prizes in good health. Alicia and Melissa, thank you for joining us. Bryan, I'll see you tomorrow. Hope to see all of you next time we get on a roll. 'Til then, make it a great day, keep the faith and treasure your loved ones.
