Hello, everyone! Yes, this is Dayo Kayode and I've gathered the courage to host my own version of Gambit as I've seen MANY episodes with Tony Lane, Bill McDee, and Bryan Law, and I wanted to host my own and one of the differences, in case you didn't know, is that my own version will be on for an hour.

Now, the rules of my own version can be found here. But I can tell you right now that there are some additions I've made, so I want to give you all heads-up.

With that said, I need 4 players (3 challenges for the First Half, and 1 for the Second Half where the Winner of the First Half will challenge the "Champion" in the Second Half).

Welcome aboard to Gambit, one of Wink Martindale's short-lived but very early games that deserved a better fate from the 70s! And tonight, we're here to play that popular game mixed with knowledge, strategy, and luck of the draw, but with more exciting features, including some new games that you may or may not have seen before! And yes, we've also added an extra element in honor of another game show legend, Tom Kennedy and his early game show of Split Second; these 5 fabulous cars, and if one of our players is able to Beat the Dealer at the Gambit Deluxe Board, and they could win one of these cars, plus $1,000,000 in cash!

I’m William Low. I’m 23 years old from Singapore and I’m currently a project assistant.

Now, what types of projects do you do nowadays?

It's mainly focused on patient's personal records i.e. DOB, ID etc. Making sure that they are all correct

Oh, that is extremely important, let me tell you. Especially in the healthcare industry, and my mom, who's a chief nurse, takes that and many other surgeries very seriously. However, we're going to have fun here, William, so good luck to you.

Now, Shederick is a 28 year old military lieutenant for the Louisiana Army National Guard and when he's not on duty, he's out partying with friends and working as a freelancing photographer.

First of all Shederick, we thank you for your service, and as a freelance photographer, I've heard that you can make around $37,000-$38,000 a year by making professional photos. Have you seen any famous people that you took pictures so far?

Now, our 3 challengers are itching and ready to go, but we've got to bring in the cards and the questions. So we've got to take this quick commercial break, and we're going to come right back to play the opening round of the first half of "The Big Gambit Hour!" Come on back now, you hear?

DK: And welcome back to "The Big Gambit Hour" and we're about to get the first half of the show underway, and this is Round 1, the Qualification Round, and our players Nels, William and Shederick are going to use their knowledge and strategy to try to win this round, but of course, since this is our very first show, it's obviously clear that we need to know about the rules, and that goes for you folks who are watching us from home as well.

The first half of the show will be based on "Top Card", another Blackjack-type game show, but the objective is still the same: To try to get as close to 21 without going over, but there are a few differences here, and I'll explain about those in a moment.

Of course, along the way, you'll have to answer trivia based on the categories that we have on the board, and here are the categories for the Qualification Round, and they are...

DISNEY	WILD CARD	PHYSICS
FAMOUS LOVERS	U.S. HISTORY	NUMBERS

Female Singers, Spelling, Maps of Nations, Disney, Physics, Famous Lovers, U.S. History, Numbers, and in the middle we have the WILD CARD, which is a category that can be just about anything, so be on the lookout for that.

Now, behind each category is a playing card from an Ace to a 10/Face Card with no duplicates, and if you give me a correct answer to the question from that category, and then you'll have a decision to make. You can either take the card from that category or if you want, you can take the top card from a deck of 43 playing cards that were shuffled, cut and sealed during the commercial break. Yes, we got our good 'ol deck of 52 playing cards and a producer was chosen at random to cut the deck and then take the top 9 cards without any duplicates and randomly distributed those on the board before the remaining 43 cards were shuffled and cut again.

For this round, if you take the top card from the deck that Melissa is in front of, both the category and the card behind it stay in the game. All questions are toss-ups, and the first player to give me a correct answer gets control of the board and can select the next category, or if you want, you can freeze.

Now, about freezing. When it comes to that, there are two options of freezing. The first option is normal where you hope your two opponents doesn't beat your score, and there are no ties in the entirety of this show at all. Either you beat that frozen, hit 21, or go over 21. Also, whoever freezes first is the only one who has the last chance to win in the round in the first half of the show.

The second option is to play a Freezing Question, where you are going to attempt to freeze one of your opponents by force in the hopes of knocking them out of the round, but there are some conditions and some risks. First, you must be in the lead. Second, your score must be at least 16, and third, you better hope that no one else has frozen if the first 2 conditions are met. Once all 3 conditions have met, you have the option to ask a Freezing Question by selecting one of your opponents of your choice. If you get the question right, that player is frozen and out of the round, but in exchange, if one other player is still in, that player will then have control of the board. Be careful, though, because if you answer the question incorrectly, and YOU will be automatically knocked out of the round.

Each of you can only use the Freezing Question ONLY ONCE throughout the entire first half, so use it wisely.

And oh yes, I almost one more thing: In the first half of this show, Aces count as ONE!

And incidentally, we also have our Any 21 Jackpot, and if any of you totals exactly 21, and you'll win the Any 21 Jackpot, and in the first half of the show, we always start the Any 21 Jackpot at...

ANY 21 JACKPOT: $500

$500, and it'll increase with every card that has been taken times $50. For instance, an Ace will add $50, while a 10 or a Face Card adds $500.

Now, the winner of this round will not only advance to the final round of the first half of the game and get an advantage, but will also earn the right to play the Intuition Mini-Bonus game for bonus cash.
