Lora Cain: (VO) Accepting the award for Sale of the Century is host Greg Palmer. This is the second award Sale has won tonight, and the third year in a row a show hosted by Greg Palmer has won an NGA.
(I approach the mic and accept the award)
Greg: Oh man....... I don't believe this. Some of you may know this, but on the old network, I actually subbed for Cameron on his $ale for several episodes. Eventually, that led me to host my own version. I tried a pilot based on his, but I couldn't get any players afterwards. Then, about a year or two ago, I started it again. It quickly became a success. More importantly, this is the third time one of the shows I've hosted has won an award. It's fantastic.
There are so many people to thank. I want to thank Al Howard, who created the original format. There's the talented Reg Grundy. Michael Whyte, Karen Greene, my mentor Tony Barber, my art and music director Tony Lane, the staff, the contestants, everyone at NBC, New World International, and Grundy Television. You're all spectacular. We don't have a Lot winner yet, but we will someday! Thank you all.

Congratulations Greg and to all at $ale of the Century!
Heartfelt congratulations to all of the nominees and the award winners this evening, all very well deserved indeed! The benchmark has been set very high for the 2015-2016 season.
I cannot begin to express my thanks and gratitude for being elected to host this year's NGA Awards. I did so with a very heavy heart, but tried to not show it, for when I learned that I was going to host this year's award show, my wife's beloved grandmother suddenly and somewhat unexpectedly passed away. So if I seemed a bit distracted, my sincerest apologies for my flubs.
We had Billy Joel on earlier singing "You're Only Human". Twenty some years ago, my wife attended a Billy Joel and Elton John concert. Her grandmother, then in her 70s, went to the concert too. I dedicate this year's award program, mistakes and all, to her loving memory. (blowing a kiss upward), I love you Grandmom Helen!
I want to thank Billy Joel, Ariana Grande, Nathan Sykes, surprise musical guest Nicki Minaj, and of course The Steve Miller Band!
(applause)
(looking at my watch) I need to skidaddle as I need to return this tuxedo by midnight, otherwise my limousine will turn back into a pumpkin.
Here to close out this year's awards, once more, The Steve Miller Band!
(applause)
Thank you and good night everybody, God Bless!
