WOW!!!! I don't know what to say. I've been doing net games in forums for the past 10 years. Some of them are misses and most of them are big hits. I would like to say a very special thanks to Bill McDee, Doug Morris, Greg Palmer, and Chad Mosher. And an extra special thanks to Cameron Shields and Leaf Apollo for bringing me to a whole new world. I love entertaining people as well as educating them. With this award given to me... I'm dedicating this award to two legends-- Jay Lewis and Jonathan "BigJon06" Williams. Thank you all for everything. Thank you...

Frank (as Rod Roddy) - "Stay tuned for more pricing games, and the fabulous....oh, no wait...." Frank (as himself) - "Stay tuned for more musical guests and presentations, coming up on the second half of The 2015 NGA Awards!" (((Friends, due to illness and the threat of extreme weather tomorrow, I will resume the show on Thursday, and provide my apologies at this time for the delay.)))

Ladies and Gentlemen, here are two performers who are, believe it or not, even more beautiful and talented than me.
Performing a lovely duet, "Almost is Never Enough", it's Ariana Grande and Nathan Sykes!!!
(wild cheers & applause as I walk off stage left and the spotlight illuminates Ariana & Nathan)

*two dozen security guards flock the audience, I cover myself from view until I feel a tap on my shoulder*
What're you doin' sittin' in the audience, Carl? You gotta man the front door!
*I murmur, attempt to dismiss the guard*
We've got a couple nutjobs on the loose, someone who slipped right underneath our fingers, and a guy responsible for releasin' five hundred penguins backstage! Get back to work!
*I stand up and slump forward to the main entrance*

Just as Ariana needed a singing partner for that awesome duet, game shows need a partner as well, and those partners are the contestants.
Here now to present the Net Game Award for best contstant is someone who has appeared as a contestant on pretty much every game I have hosted both here and on the old site. He is a fine gentleman from the midwest, and his involvement with Special Olympics reminds me that all who participate in them are indeed, truly, the BEST contestants!
Please give a very warm welcome to our next presenter, Mr. Matt Ringgenberg!
(applause & cheers)

By jove gentlemen you are right! I won't go all "Gene Rayburn" on anyone and blame the cue card person, as we have none here I really did take Billy Joel's song to heart and I keep on proving him right. Here to present the best contestant award, the top winner thus far on "Three on a Match", Jon Darrall! (applause as I walk off stage left, mimicing me trying to study the script and learn my lines)

Thanks, Bill. As someone who has played numerous Net Games and gone on an actual studio game show, I can tell you that being a game show contestant is not an easy experience. It's easy to applaud and criticize players from your living room sofa, but until you realize what contestants go through by being one, it's hard to appreciate them. That's why contestants give it their all, no matter what game they play or where they play it. Our three nominees all demonstrated great skill, luck, daring, and nerve, and have earned the right to be considered Best Contestant. And your nominees are...
STEVEN ANDERSON!
(Clips of his game appearances play, including his million-dollar win)
MICHAEL CLIFFORD!
(Clips of his appearances play, including his 3rd Challengers victory)
And MATT RINGENBERG!
(Clips of his appearances play)
And the winner is...(I open the envelope as a drumroll plays)...
No one. (Audience acts shocked and surprised)
Allow me to explain...no ONE player has won the award...there are TWO WINNERS!
MATT RINGENBERG AND MICHAEL CLIFFORD!

(a Native American already on stage who looks strikingly similar to Charlie Sheen now takes the podium)
Greetings! I am Charsheen Bigbrick. The tribe which I represent does not matter. What does matter is that I am speaking on behalf of Michael Clifford who is not here tonight. Mr. Clifford has told me that he is refusing this award.
(audience gasps)
He says that he thinks that these awards are unnecessary & that he thinks they're no big deal. He also says that the Yahoo Netgames group never had these awards, so why should NGC?
(Charsheen turns to Matt & shakes his hand)
Congratulations Mr. Ringgenberg.
(Charsheen hands the award back to Jon)
Here you go, Mr. Darrall. Have a good evening folks!
(Jon, Matt, & Charsheen leave the stage as orchestra music or something plays)
(audience murmurs)

(back on stage, Frankie Grande waves to the camera, carrying a mic) Frankie: Hiiiiiiii! You might remember me from Big Brother on another network. The director thought something was going to hit the fan after that last outburst, so here, with Jessie J and Nicki Minaj, is Ariana Grande!

Another wonderful performance by our singing artists! Very nice surprise having Nikki appear too ((stage hand walks over and holds up a giant cue card in front of me)) Now, here to present the award for best net game emcee is... Oh, Bill McDee! That's me! Jon, you made a very good point earlier about how being a contestant on a game show is not as easy as it appears. I remember Pat Sajak once commenting about fans of "Wheel of Fortune" being critical of studio contestants. Pat also reminded us that "At home, it is always your turn." Pat is a seasoned veteran of game show hosting, having done so for well over three decades now. While tonight's nominees for best net game emcee may not have had quite that much experience, all three nominees are indeed seasoned veterans when it comes to online hosting. The three nominees for the 2015 NGC Award for best net game host are... Tony Lane, Trivia Trap, Gambit, Card Sharks, Hollywood Squares and Match Game Hollywood Squares Hour. (applause) Yours truly, Bill McDee, Gambit P.M., Now You See It and Three on a Match. (applause) Doug Morris, Hot Dice, Crag: The Numbers Game, and the $40,000 Chain Reaction. And the winner is... Doug Morris!!!! (applause) (shaking Doug's hand and presenting him with the trophy)

Wow, I was not expecting this. Thank you all.
Thanks to the academy for voting for me. Thanks to all the wonderful people I've worked with over the years.
As the cool kids would say, this isn't necessarily my first rodeo. I've host net games since 1998 with "Bumper Stumpers".
As The Grateful Dead would say, what a long strange trip it's been. And I wanna keep traveling.
Thanks and may God bless all of you.

Congrats to you Doug, also now a co-host on Match Game/Hollywood Squares Hour!
We have three more awards to present this evening, the first being the Best of Channel 1 programming.
And to add a touch of international flavor to our proceedings, here to present the award for the Best of Channel 1, a man who has a terrific longevity with hosting well over 30 episodes of "High Rollers", our very good friend from France, Cle'ment Couvreur!!!!

Thank you for the warm welcome, I'm really grateful. Channel 1 is the channel for original game shows created by the community. Creating a game show is complex. You have to imagine a concept that is simple enough to be understood by most people: Armand Jammot, creator of Des chiffres et des lettres, which is running since January 1972 in France and 1982 in England (Countdown), said that a good game show can be explained in the elevator, in a few seconds. But you also have to imagine a concept solid enough to last long. You have to add variety: variety of prizes, of games, of words you can find, of questions. You have to catch your audience and let them play along. If you can't explain The Price is Right in an elevator, the huge variety of prizes and games, the high play-along factor, make it more interesting than most easier games. Three shows have been nominated as best games from Channel 1: Bill McDee's Dice Words... John Bergman's Blockers... And Doug Morris' Hot Dice... I have the envelope, I'll break that seal... (tears the envelope doing so, I whisper, laughs) Well, I'll gather both parts, and I can read the winner, which is, by a wide margin... HOT DICE by Doug Morris! (cheers and applause)

Ummm – wow. Thank you.
Hot Dice, as I recall, dates back to around 2011 or 2012 on another network. Over there, I’d hosted shows based mostly on card games – and I wanted to try my hand at a dice game.
When Hot Dice started in syndication in 2014, it was warmly received – and, apparently, you guys love it so much that you voted for Hot Dice.
To borrow a line from Bartles and Jaymes, thank you for your support.

Gosh, I hope you guys aren't using the rules of Monopoly or the "Millionaires' Club" show. Win three straight awards and go to jail. (audience laughs; smattering of applause)But, seriously, when the pilot episode of the original version of the Crag net game was nearly complete, I gave a shout out to Greg "Greggo" Wicker, whose Anime Farkle -- helped inspire what we now know as Crag: The Numbers Game. As many of you know Greggo brings Anime Farkle and other anime-themed game shows to conventions throughout the U.S. In recent years, he's branched out -- including comic book-themed games and even a "High Rollers"-esque game based on "Doctor Who". No matter how much you know about anime, comic books and sci-fi, you'll still come away entertained after seeing one of Greggo's shows -- either in person or on YouTube. He'll make it worth your time if you attend in person. So (holds up award) Greggo, this one's for you. See you at Hamacon in Huntsville later this summer. And -- again -- thanks and may God bless all of you and the loved ones you treasure.

I too have watched and enjoyed many hours of Greggo's game shows on youtube, including his rendition of "Three on a Match", which inspired me to bring it here to Net Game Central, and before that, Big Jon's.
Seems quite fitting Doug that you too have a 3 on a Match with not only 3 NGA awards, but 3 consecutive ones!
Three on a Match was on during the early 1970s, and I for one am very fond of the 1970s, due not only to the great array of major network daytime game shows, before just about everything became syndicated only, but also I love a lot of the music from the 1970s, yes, including disco.
Earlier we've showcased and awarded the funniest moment. Many of our hosts are funny and humorous, an art from the medieval days when Kings had court jesters to entertain them, as there were no game shows in Ye Olden Days.
So to honor humor, also to honor my good and loyal friend Tony Lane, current host of "Card Sharks", "The Joker's Wild" and "Match Game/Hollywood Squares Hour", all of which have some kind of jokers or another, here's the great 1977 hit "The Joker", from the great 1970s group....
The Steve Miller Band!!!!!!
