You've pulled out the two.
So, you can make that the first number and shoot for a twenty-something thousand-dollar bonus or make that the last number or put it back in the bag.
What do you think, Bill?

Oh well, I'll make it the last number.

Okay, well the absolute max is out of play, but you could still win $43,012 which is only $188 short of the max, so that's not so bad.
(I mix up the remaining numbers)
Reach in there and pull out that 1 next, Bill!

You've drawn the zero this time, which is no help as we're going right to left and we need an odd number to be drawn.
(I place the zero back into the bag and mix them up again)
Try again please, Bill.

Nope, you're drawing evens when we need odds -- let's hope we see that 4 again a little later.
(I place the 4 back in the bag and mix it up)
Let's all think odd now for Bill, odd, we want an odd number -- get yourself an odd one Bill, preferably the 1!

(murrrrrrrp)
Ohhh, that's Strike One on you Bill -- a slurve that caught the outside corner.
That's okay though, it's only the first strike, let's not even think about it, let's think odd number and get that fourth digit filled in!
(I place the strike back into the bag and mix up the chips)
Draw again please, Bill.

Uh oh, fastball high and tight for strike two!
Bill, the success you had with Ten Chances and Rat Race have not followed you to this game so far. Let's hope this is the last we see of that chip!
(I place the strike into the bag again and mix up chips)
Drawing even numbers is at least better than strikes, so let's just hope for a number, preferably an odd one, but anything but a strike this time!
Number, number, number, number, number!!!

Excellent! It's the three!
Now, this will unfortunately cost you a couple of thousand dollars by placing this number in the fourth position, but with two strikes on you, it's perhaps the wiser move to make. Of course, if you want to be bold and save that 3 for the second position, we can drop it back into the bag and you can draw again hoping to get the 1.
What would you like to do, Bill?

Better safe than sorry; I'll go ahead and use it for the third number.

(ding)
I think you meant the fourth number and not the third as that one has to be even.
In fact, with that number in place, we now know how much of a bonus you are shooting for -- $41,032 unless of course you'd like to flip the first and third numbers around and play for about fourteen hundred, but I'm guessing not, right? (audience chuckles)
So this means we need them in order now, Bill. The zero first, then the one and finally, the four. If you can do that and avoid that strike, you'll have a single-show total winnings amount of almost seventy-five thousand dollars! (audience cheers and applauds)
(I mix up the remaining chips in the bag)
You've drawn that zero before Bill -- let's find it again!

Well, it's an even number, but not the one we wanted!
(I drop the 4 back in the bag and mix up the chips)
Try again, Bill!

(murrrrrrrp) (Losing Horns)
Oh no, that's Strike Three, Bill.
You had great success with the first two pricing games you played, but this one just didn't want to co-operate. I'm sorry this didn't turn out better for you.
All in all though, not a bad day's work! You've won a car and a few other prizes, not to mention ten thousand dollars in cash and you will return as champion to build upon your current total of...
...thirty-three thousand eight hundred fifty-three dollars! (audience cheers and applauds)
Despite the less-than-epic result here with 3 Strikes, I hope you've enjoyed yourself on our show today, Bill.

We look forward to having you back as our champion, Bill!
Our models are standing over there next to your new car that you won earlier, among your other prizes as well -- let's head over there as soon as I say...
Glen Brown reminding you to help control the pet population -- have your pets spayed or neutered.
Goodbye everybody!
