Welcome back to The New Price is Right folks!
Burton, that first segment could not have gone any better! We gave away almost thirty grand worth of loot, but we're just getting started! We need someone else to spin this wheel and play a pricing game -- who have you got for us this time?
Burton Richardson: "Glen, this time we're looking for William Low! (audience applauds and music plays)
Come on down William, you're the next contestant on The New Price is Right!"
(William makes his way down to the stage, climbs the stairs and joins me next to the wheel as I shake his hand)
Welcome aboard William, it's a pleasure to have you on our show! You've got a tough act to follow in Mr. Skinner -- he did pretty well for himself -- are you up for the task at hand?

Well, it is a little bit -- you would need to surpass Bill's total to guarantee yourself a spot in the playoff pricing game, but second place gets you in as well, so depending on how your first pricing game goes, you'll have to decide if you play on or not.
Tell us about yourself before we proceed please, William.

Aviation Management sounds like it will be a very interesting career choice -- best of luck with that going forward!
Best of luck with our wheel as well -- let's see what group of pricing games you'll choose from.
Give that wheel a spin please William and let's see what happens!

William, you've landed on AIJ, so we will randomly select one pricing game using each of those letters.
(ding)
You can play "Add 'Em Up", a game from back in the 1980s where you must determine the numbers of a 4-digit prize, or you can play "It's in the Bag" where you could win up to $16,000 for matching grocery prices with the correct grocery items or you can play "Jam" which is a game that you may not have seen before that involves inserting a number into the correct wedge to form the right 4-digit price.
Those are your pricing game choices, William -- which one shall we play next?

Even though I am very good at maths, I'm not doing Add 'Em Up. I'm more modern, let's do It's in the Bag.

Welcome back to The New Price is Right! I have William here with me and William, you are just five correct decisions away from that...
Burton Richardson: "William, it's a chance to win up to sixteen thousand dollars in cash!"
We will give you sixteen thousand dollars William if you know enough about the prices of the items Burton is about to describe for you, aren't you Burton?
Burton Richardson: "I am indeed Glen...
First up, we have an eleven-ounce container of dry roasted almonds...
...next, it's a sixteen-ounce can of chili...
...then we have a twenty-tablet package of laxatives...
...next, it's a bottle of spray cologne...
...then we have a container of prunes...
...and finally, a 48-tablet container of antacid."
Thank you, Burton.
William, we have five grocery bags here, but as you can see we have six grocery items, so one of those items is a dud and does not belong in the game. Your task is to choose the five correct items that match the prices on those bags. In the first bag, we have an item that costs $11.28, in the second, one that is $3.29, a $3.80 item in the third bag, one that is $4.39 in the fourth bag and finally, an item that costs $7.76 in the fifth bag.
We'll give you one thousand dollars if you can tell us what's in that first bag with the $11.28 price tag on it and then we will double your money from there on with each subsequent correct item choice all the way up to sixteen thousand dollars if you can choose all five items correctly! (audience cheers and applauds)
So, going from left to right William, please select the five items you would like to place in those bags.

This is a total guess, so I’ll say laxatives, chilli, prunes, almonds and cologne in that order

Alright, let's see how you've done here. Eleven bucks for laxatives sounds reasonable to me, although if I consumed that item next to it, I would not need them, personally. (audience chuckles)
For one thousand dollars, let's see if the Senokol is in that first bag...
(bzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz)
Oh, I'm afraid not William, it was the cologne that was $11.28.
Let's have a look at the rest of them, please.
As it turns out, the one you picked first was the dud item -- the laxatives weren't in any of the bags.
Well, that didn't work out for you William, but luckily, you still get a shot at winning something because you still get to play another pricing game! (audience applauds)
Let's get that big wheel out here once again for William, please.
No place to go but up from here, William.
Give that thing another twirl please and let's see what it lands on for you this time.

It has landed on Random, which means our computer is going to randomly select the pricing game for you. It can be any of our pricing games other than "It's in the Bag" since you cannot play the same game twice.
Let's see what game the computer picks for you...
William and I are going to check out a Clearance Sale right after we check out this!

Welcome back to The New Price is Right! William, you weren't able to secure any of the cash in that first pricing game -- let's see how you do going after these prizes!
Burton Richardson: "William, your first prize is this lounge chair made with buffed sand leather and a plantation-grown hardwood frame with legs in rich brown finish. Its double wall back features natural seagrass in herringbone pattern on the front and back. It measures 32 inches wide by 35 inches high!
Next, this leg desk and chair is the perfect fusion of elegance and efficiency. Its sophisticated style brings the traditional look to your home office while maintaining the productivity that you desire. With abundant desk storage space, this computer-friendly furniture will be everything you need to work on. The computer monitor and keyboard shown is not included.
Finally, this 300-Bottle Dual-Zone Wine Cooler is a must-have for the avid wine collector. With two independent temperature zones, this unit is perfect for storing both red and white wines at their optimum temperatures. Specially designed racking cradles each bottle and ensures they are housed securely. A centrally-located control panel makes it easy to set and monitor the temperatures and toggle the interior lighting on or off. An all-black cabinet with insulated glass door and stainless trim makes this unit an attractive addition to any room. A front exhaust allows for easy integration into most cabinetry. Wine not included."
Thanks, Burton.
William, in Clearance Sale, those three blue signs are concealing the actual retail prices of those prizes. The object of the game is to place a red sales price tag on each of the stands beneath the blue signs so that each prize has a proper sales price on it.
We have one sales price of five hundred dollars, one for nineteen hundred and one for twenty-seven ninety. The key to the game is placing them in the right spot. For example, you could place the $500 tag on any of the prizes and it would be a sales price, but put it in the wrong place and a sales price might not be possible for the other two.
Now, since this was a Random game chosen for you, I will also offer you a five thousand dollar bonus if you win the game, so, depending on the real prices of those prizes, this is a chance at about ten thousand dollars worth of cash and prizes! (audience applauds)
Think it over for a moment William and then please pick a prize for each of those sales prices.

Okay William, good luck to you, let's find out if you've placed those tags correctly or not!
(continuous cheers and applause from the audience)
You certainly did, William! Well done sir! You've won all three prizes plus the bonus of five grand...
...giving you a total of ten thousand five hundred forty-nine dollars and putting you solidly into second place! Congratulations! (I shake William's hand as he exits stage left)
A great win for William there means that Bill Skinner is guaranteed a spot in our playoff pricing game and William is looking good to join him there as well but our next contestant will certainly have a thing or two to say about that!
We'll find out who that'll be after we find out about this! (continued applause and theme music plays as we fade to black)

Welcome back to The New Price is Right everyone!
Well Burton, I would say we've had a pretty good show so far -- we've given away almost forty thousand dollars in cash and prizes and we still have pricing games yet to play!
(camera on Burton)
Burton Richardson: "Indeed Glen and I was happy to see William win Clearance Sale after struggling with his first pricing game."
(camera on me)
I was too -- in fact, I wish we could forego the games and just give them the prizes but, alas, Standards and Practices wouldn't be too fond of that plus we don't have Oprah "everyone gets a car" Winfrey budget money on this show! (audience chuckles)
Well, at this point, we know that Bill Skinner is guaranteed a spot in our playoff pricing game that will be coming up in a little bit and at the moment, William has a great total that might also qualify him, but we've got one more person that might play into the mix of this equation and Burton knows the name of that person, don't you Burton!
Burton Richardson: "That I do Glen, that name is Vincent Easter!
(audience applauds and music plays)
Come on down! You are the next contestant on The New Price is Right!"
(Vincent makes his way into and down the aisle, climbs the stairs and takes his place next to me at the Big Wheel as I shake his hand)
Vincent, you made it with the last chance! Welcome aboard! Tell us who you are, where you're from and all that good stuff if you would, please.

Well, it's a pleasure to have you with us, Vincent. I have some good news and some bad news for you. The bad news is that you need to win at least $10,550 worth of prizes to join Bill in our playoff pricing game. The good news is you'll have two chances to do it!
Are you ready to play? If so, please step up to this wheel, give it a whirl and let's see what game you'll be playing!

Vincent's spin is on its way...
...and it stops on the M!
So, let's see Vincent's choices of pricing games that begin with M, please.
(ding)
Vincent, you can choose Magic Number where you might win a couple of 4-digit prizes or you can choose a custom game that you might never have seen before called Master Price where you can win a vehicle of some sort or you can choose one of the original pricing games from back in the 1970s, Most Expensive, where you might win three nice prizes.
Which game do you fancy, Vincent?

Welcome back to The New Price is Right! I'm here with Vincent and we're ready to play his first of possibly two pricing games and Vincent, we've got what I think is a pretty cool prize for you to play for and it's behind these doors...
Burton Richardson: "Oh Vincent, for you we have a classic 1969 Toyota FJ40 Land Cruiser! (audience cheers and applauds)
This terrific restoration features desirable Spring Green paint, a 235 CI overhead valve 6-cylinder engine, a three-speed manual transmission, low range and part-time all-wheel drive and it comes with the original Owner's Manual and Service Booklet!
This vehicle can be yours Vincent, if the price is right!"
(giant price tag raises revealing the game prop)
A restoration of a 50-year-old Land Rover, Vincent! Think of the fun you could have in that thing! We'll be giving you the keys to it if you can win the game you selected, Master Price.
Now Vincent, if you are familiar with the board game Master Mind, this game works similarly to that game. We're going to start with you giving me a guess as to the actual retail price of that car. I can tell you this much -- the price has five digits in it and there are no numbers that repeat in the price.
We will light up your guess in the top row of five black boxes and then a digit will light up in both the green box and the red box next to your guess.
Similar to Master Mind, the green number will indicate how many numbers from your guess are both in the price and in the correct position in the price, while the red number will indicate how many numbers from your guess are in the price but currently not in the correct position.
Assuming you don't guess the right price immediately, you will use the information provided by the numbers in the green and red box to make your next guess at the price.
This continues for as many as five guesses, one guess per row -- if you haven't figured out the price by then, the game is over.
That's how we play Master Price, Vincent -- unless you have a question, please give me your first guess at the price of that Land Rover!

(ding)
Vincent says that classic Land Cruiser is fifty-three thousand eight hundred forty dollars.
Has he won that car right off the bat?
(bzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz)
No, that's not it, but nobody ever gets it right the first time anyway Vincent, so don't despair. Let's see what numbers are involved though -- how many numbers are in the price and in their correct position, please?
(ding)
One number -- so we've established now that the price ends with a zero.
Okay, now, how many of those other four numbers are in the price, but currently in the wrong position?
(ding)
One there as well.
So Vincent, you're next guess should end with a zero, should contain one of those other four numbers placed in a different spot and should also contain three new numbers that weren't in this guess.
Think it over for a moment and then please give me guess number two.

Vincent says thirty-two thousand seven hundred sixty for his second guess...
(ding)
Has Vincent won that car?
(bzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz)
No, he hasn't, not yet anyway.
Okay, let's check the results this time...
(ding) (audience applauds)
Nice, now you have the first and the last numbers correct...
(ding) (audience applauds)
Oh, very nice, two of those other three numbers are also in the price! You've got 4 out of the 5 numbers in play with 3 chances remaining -- you're doing well here.
Vincent, your third guess please.
