Thank you very much, everyone! First let me say that it is an honor and a privilege to be here as a presenter and second, in case you're wondering how I got here, I was hiding in the trunk of Matt's limo, which is why my tux is a bit wrinkly, so please forgive me for that! (audience laughs) I know everyone is anxious to start giving out some awards, so let's get right to it! Here are the nominations for Best Graphics and Audio/Visual Effects...
John Bergman for "The Big ShowDown" (huge cheers and applause)
Tony Lane for "Match Game - Hollywood Squares Hour" (huge cheers and applause)
Bryan Law for "Gambit on FOX"
(huge cheers and applause)
Joseph Kristoff for "Snap Judgement" (huge cheers and applause)
Bill McDee for "Pay Cards!" and "Gambit" (huge cheers and applause)
and Doug Morris for "On a Roll/On a Roll: After Dark" and "Second Chance" (huge cheers and applause)
And, the winner is...
(drum roll)

I'm comin'! I'm comin'!
First, my big thanks to Greg Palmer for getting the series, literally, on a roll. When I took over hosting duties, I wanted it to be a real visual treat -- while also including nods to some of our other favorite Goodson-Todman projects way too numerous to mention at the moment.
That leads me to my next set of kudos. Thanks to all of you for voting.
That support, believe it or not, helped me in the real world. It was about this time last year I pursued a full time career as a web editor and creator of social media images.
So thank you all for that. Your energy and your support keep me going. Thanks.
(audience cheers)

And I would like to say a very special thanks to our executive producer Jenny Mullin for making our shows possible-- "On A Roll", "On A Roll: After Dark", and the "Match Game/Hollywood Squares Hour". You guys have inspired me to make great games as the well as the look and style of a great game show. I want to dedicate this award to two guys who have inspired me... Jonathan "BigJon06" Williams and the now-retired Bill McDee. I promise to the both of you that I will continue to do our very best in making great game shows... especially my co-host in crime Doug Morris. Thank you and may God be forever bless. (cheers and applause) (Match Game/Hollywood Squares Hour theme plays) George Gray: Good evening, everybody! I'm George Gray from "The Price is Right". Still ahead, we'll have a musical performance from George Thorogood. And still to come, we'll announce more nominations including the Best Game Show Original. When The 2018 Net Game Awards returns right here on NBC. Jim: The 2018 Net Game Awards... brought to you by--L'Oréal Paris-- Because you're worth it.And by the new motion picture from New Line Cinema, "The Nun". In theaters September 7. (audience cheers as live orchestra plays their version of the "Stranger Things" theme) Doug: And welcome back to the 2018 Net Game Awards. (more cheers)Doug: It's time to present the award for strangest prize awarded in a net game. Tonight, we're in the presence of greatness. He's a former mayor of Cincinnati, he's been a news anchor and he's hosted his fair share of game and reality shows. You know him best from his long-running talk show which recently called it a day after more than a quarter century on the air. Let's give a Texas-sized welcome to Jerry Springer. (audience cheers as live orchestra plays their version of the original "Springer" theme; many in crowd chant, "JERRY! JERRY! JERRY! JERRY!") Jerry: Thank you, everyone. I've welcomed a lot of strange guests to my show. Like the men who've had several sex change operations -- (woahs and woos from the crowd) -- and the women who were men who were women who were men who were women who live them. (audience laughs and applauds)Jerry: Then there were times I welcomed guests who married camels. Of course, we aired the show on Hump Day. (audience laughs and applauds)Jerry: But for my final thought on the strange and unusual, we have just one nominee for strangest prize awarded in a netgame. (opens envelope) And our winner is Wheel of Fortune: Seasons for awarding a voodoo doll of Fred Silverman in a 1980 episode, (audience cheers as live orchestra plays their version of the original WoF theme) Burton: Accepting for Wheel of Fortune: Seasons is Kevin Kolsen.

YES!
*walks down aisle to stage*
Thank you, Jerry. Do you realize we might have seen Fred on your show if you had hosted it back in 1980?
*laughter*
First, I want to thank the most unlikely of sources, Mr. Silverman himself. I gotta say, deep down, he's a good person. You just have to bring him down beneath the earth's crust.
*more laughter*
As you know, the real Wheel of Fortune was almost cancelled twice in 1980, no thanks to Silverman. So, what do I do when I host a version based around what happened at that time? Make fun of the man who almost ruined NBC. Although in hindsight it's not too bad compared to what Lester Holt is doing now.
I'll be giving these dolls to everyone in the audience at the completion of this show. Be careful where you stick those pins! Thank you for all your support.
*cheers and applause*

Still to come in a bit, the award for most painful moment. It's a moment that originally gave someone the blues. But before that, how about some blues -- rock? (audience cheers)Performing their signature hit "Bad To The Bone", please welcome to the AT&T Center George Thorogoood and the Destroyers. (more cheers)

(audience cheers)One more nice hand for George Thorogood and the Destroyers. (more cheers)So -- what's more painful that not seeing Kawhi Leonard play most of last season? (audience boos)What's more painful than seeing Kawhi bolt for Toronto? (audience boos and hisses)Well, for the answers, we turn to someone who hails from Toronto -- but rest assured he wasn't part of the negotiations with the Raptors. (scattered laughter from crowd) With our nominees for most painful moment in a net game, please welcome Mark Liotta. (audience cheers)

Thank you, Doug. Well folks, in just about any game show, everyone likes to see a winner. However, sometimes there's a time where people lose in the most hard luck way possible. I should know because I've had some unlucky bounces on occasion while playing goalie for my hockey team. But I'm not here to discuss sports. I'm here to present the nominees for most painful moment, and they are as follows. Press Your Luck: All three players whammying out Frank Sartori's Jeopardy!: Triple zero finish on one show Sale of the Century: Frank being one number away from winning the lot Second Chance: Greg Palmer losing $300,000+ in cash and prizes And the winner is..........................(cue drumroll)

(I walk up on stage and accept my award)
Thank you, Mark. That was quite an eventful episode. I was poised to win quite a bit, including a luxury sportscar, but that devil beat me to it. And then, naive fool that I was, I passed my remaining spins to Frank, in the hopes he'd win the million. How was I to know that Bill would land on the Power Square and take the mil?
In the words of the great Bobby Sherman and Alex Trebek, "Easy come, easy go". I'd like to thank the law of averages and good old-fashioned greed for this award. Thank you.

Thank you, thank you... Now where shall I start? Once again, I have to say a very special thanks to our executive producers Jennifer Mullin and Bob Noah for filling me in for Greg. This was my second appearance guest hosting $ale and couldn't stop loving every single minute of it. I hope that Doug Morris (spoiler alert) wins the award for guest hosting "Split Second".
(audience laughs)
Anyways, I want to say a very special thanks to MARVEL and Disney along with the actors responsible for that episode including some behind the scenes. And I want to give a very special shout out to the entire Perry family... including the late, great Jim Perry. I'll continue to do my very best, everyone. Thanks again...
