We'll soon find out... Right after these words! No no I'm jesting! Behind the 18? STILL no Fool's Gold! WOW! It's a cash box. Sergio, do you select top, middle or bottom?

A modest amount, but $750 more nevertheless... Excellent game, those Fools are chomping at the bit to come out and take your winnings away players! If I ever go through a land mined area, I'd want to take you both along with me! It's amazing how you've both averted all of the Fool's Gold cards this late into the game! Next question coming your way Kourtney. What is the average distance from the surface to the center of the Earth in miles? After Kourtney gives his answer Sergio, we'll translate his guess into kilometers if you need. I believe Spain incorporates the metric system unless I am mistaken...

To be honest, I am not really sure. I know it’s a very hard place to get to. I don’t even know if I want to go there picking and prodding at it... Let’s go with 10,200 miles straight down.

10,200 miles or 16,415 km.
Sergio, is the correct answer higher or lower?

Bill, If for some reason Kourtney is wrong, that has to be little bit lower.

Very well, Kourtney suggests a journey to the center of the Earth would be 10,200 miles, and Sergio predicts lower. Now we will get to the "core" of the answer... (groans in the audience) The actual average number of miles from the surface to the center of our home planet Earth is... 3,959 miles, it IS lower Sergio! Thirteen boxes remain, 8 are safe, 5 are Fool's Gold. You don't have an insurance marker, Kourtney does. If you pass and he hits Fool's Gold, he won't lose his winnings right away, but he would have to select another number right away. What is your strategy here now Sergio, pass or play?

I will pass to Kourtney and hope he would hit two Fools Gold in a row (one blocked by that Insurance marker).

Very well, I think I would have done the same thing.
Kourtney, odds are now 8 to 5 in your favor sir.
What number do you want?

Let’s go with legs 11

Number 11 it shall be... Oh no!!! www.dougmorris.net/dice/LN_DZ_CUE.mp3(groans in the audience) If nothing else, Sergio has made this game an even playing field again. The insurance marker goes bye bye... Now 4 Fool's Gold cards left out of 12 on the board, so the odds are slightly better now Kourtney, 2 to 1 in your favor to be exact. Call out another number. If you hit another Fool's Gold you lose everything, including the Take card.

Alrighty then. Would we put two Fool's Golds side by side? Well not this time! It's Random Riches again. It could be as little as $750 or as much as $7,500 or anything in between. You can take this or you can forfeit it and try another number Kourtney. How do you want to play it?

I am going to keep my money. Worse I can do is $750.

(applause) I can't say that I blame you one iota Kourtney. Let's see how much it is worth... Well that's not hard to take! (applause) And now Kourtney takes a very slender lead again! Superb game, still 4 Fool's Gold cards up there, so it's getting more and more dangerous the later we get into this game. Next question is yours Sergio... What is the official number of lakes larger than 10 acres in Minnesota?
Post by romnserg on Jun 2, 2018 9:46:44 GMT -5
Well, let's try three.

Sergio says 3 lakes in the state of Minnesota are larger than 10 acres. Kourtney, do you believe the correct answer is higher or lower than 3?

I'm going for 10.000 lakes.

Sergio says 10,000 is the official number of lakes in Minnesota larger than 10 acres. Higher or lower than 10,000 Kourtney?
Post by pathfinder20 on Jun 2, 2018 16:54:58 GMT -5
I don’t think it that many. I am going to say lower.

Post by billmcdee on Jun 3, 2018 11:06:34 GMT -5
Kourtney says lower. I would tend to agree since Minnesota is known as the Land of 10,000 lakes, and is why the Los Angeles Lakers have that name, as they once were the Minneapolis Lakers. Let's find out. The actual official number of lakes larger than 10 acres in the great state of Minnesota is... WHAT?!?! It's HIGHER?!?!?! Wow! I can't believe that many lakes are over 10 acres in size, but that is what my card says. It was not lower, it was higher, Sergio, you control the board once again. Eleven boxes remain, seven are safe, four are Fool's Gold. So a little more than 63 and one half percent safe is the board. Pass or play Sergio?

Number 24?
Post by billmcdee on Jun 3, 2018 11:15:47 GMT -5
Going to play, okay. Number 24 it is... Ah, the Surprise square! One of these conceals $5,000, one of these conceals a prize, and one conceals a loss of $2,500. Do you take top, middle or bottom Sergio?
Post by romnserg on Jun 3, 2018 11:27:41 GMT -5
Let's try the middle one. I hope it's NOT Minus $2,500.
