I'm gonna freeze Greg.

(I move the freeze bar)
[FRANK] [5H][AS]<9H>[CS][CS]
[DAVID] <CS>[CS][CS][CS][CS]
Wise decision. Frank now has a two-card lead over the champ, three cards if you consider we hadn't turned over David's base card. (I walk back to G2-T2 and pull out the next card) That might change with this question. David.... we surveyed 100 Michelin Star chefs, all head chefs that work in restaurants with at least one Michelin Star, and we asked them.... Who cooks more often at home-- you, or your spouse? How many Michelin Star chefs said their spouse cooks more often at home?

I don't even know what a Michelin Star is, so I am going to have to guess. I'll say about 34.

[DING] [FRANK] [DAVID]

Really? You don't know what a Michelin star is? All right, let's see if I can explain it. Now, Michelin, the tire company, published guides to the best restaurants and hotels in France. A team of experts gives Michelin stars for excellence to a select few establishments. This has expanded to the United States and several other countries around the world. If your restaurant has a Michelin star, it's really good. Do you understand now?

Good. Higher or lower, Frank?

Post by fdriscoll22 on Aug 3, 2017 17:15:47 GMT -5
Well, I'm sure these chefs have a passion for cooking and probably do it whenever they get the chance so I think the number might be a bit lower.

[DING] [FRANK] [DAVID]
[ ] [ ] [ ] [ ] [ 34 ] [ LOWER ] [ ]
I like that reasoning. The actual number of Michelin Star chefs who said their spouse cooks more often at home is.... [FRANK] [DAVID]
[ ] [ HIGHER] [ ] [ 57 ] [ 34 ] [ ] [ ]
[DING-DING-DING, APPLAUSE]57! It's higher, so David has control. (I walk back to the board) Now, the way I see it is the chefs are tired and appreciate a home-cooked meal. David, here's your base card.... (I flip it over) [FRANK] [5H][AS]<9H>[CS][CS]
[DAVID] <7D>[CS][CS][CS][CS]
A seven! Ugh.... want to change this? (audience shouts suggestions)

[DAVID] <6C>[CS][CS][CS][CS]
A six. (audience groans slightly) Sorry. Call this one.

[BUZZER, AUDIENCE GROANS]Another Jack! Welll, David, as our English pal Brucie always says, "You don't get anything for a pair...." Audience: NOT IN THIS GAME!Greg: And you're so well trained, too! (audience chuckles) [FRANK] [5H][AS]<9H>[CS][CS]

[DAVID] <6C>[ ][ ][CS][CS]
YES!!! [WINNING BELL SOUNDS, CS78 MATCH WIN, CHEERS AND APPLAUSE]And Frank is our new champ. Frank, join me down here by the Goodson mark. (Frank does so) David, you are certainly not leaving us empty handed. You won another $1,000; you're going to Dubai, and you're leaving us with $63,235 in cash and prizes. A fine hand for David B.! (fade in, cheers and applause) We're back, and I'm here with Frank Driscoll, our new champion. He's a college student, and he's up to $2,500 in cash and is about ready to win even more. Did you cut the cards backstage?

Then let's open up the board and get to the Money Cards! (the board opens up) [MONEY CARDS CUE, CHEERS AND APPLAUSE]
[MONEY] [CARDS]
[ 1 ] [BIG BET][ CS ]
[ 2 ] [ $5000 ][ CS ][ CS ][ CS ]
[ 3 ] [ $2500 ][ CS ][ CS ][ CS ]
All right, so, for those of you just tuning in, here are the rules. Frank, you've won $2,500. That is yours to keep. We're going to give you new betting money. You play the same game as before, except you'll be betting whether the next card is higher or lower. First row, $2,500 and three cards to work with. We move the end card on the bottom row to the next row and give you another $5,000 and three more cards. Minimum bets are $100 and must be in $100 increments until you reach the Big Bet where you must risk at least half the money. If you don't like the card in front of you, you can change one card per row using one of the three cards we have in there. Now, Frank, for winning the match, you've also got a Joker, which Felisha is holding for you. We've hidden three more Jokers in the deck. Now, one other thing. Since you're playing solo, we're not going to penalize you for a pair. It'll count as a push, no win, no loss. Good luck to you, here's $2,500. [DING]And if you play your cards right, you could win as much as $400,000. (Jacq hands me a card) Here's your first card.... (I flip it over)
[MONEY] [CARDS]
[ 1 ] [BIG BET][ CS ]
[ 2 ] [ $5000 ][ CS ][ CS ][ CS ]
[ 3 ] [ KD ][ CS ][ CS ][ CS ]
A King!
