Staff announcer: Keep your eyes on KGWC.
(vamp to opening theme as camera zooms in on game board) Tiffany Phillips: This week, we have a... Tiffany Phillips: ...new way to play -- with a... Tiffany Phillips: ...new bonus game -- *and*... Tiffany Phillips: ...lots of cash. It's Day 2 of a special big money week of...Tiffany Phillips: ...On A Roll! (opening theme plays; audience cheers) Joining us at the game board is, from "MacGyver", Tristin Mays. Our dice girl for Game 1 is, from The CW's "Save To Win", Mariana Cardenas. And here's our host, ready to get on a roll, Doug Morris! (audience cheers) Doug: Thank you, Tiffany. Hellooooooo, everybody, and welcome to our second show of big money week of On A Roll. We've got hundreds of thousands in dollars in cash *and* prizes waiting to be won -- and a match to resolve. First, let's spend a few brief moments in conversation with our guest models. Mariana, nice to have you here. Mariana: Thank you, Doug. Doug: We're used to seeing you dressed in a dollar store uniform on "Save To Win". Please tell us when we can see it. Mariana: Saturdays at 12:30 Eastern. Doug: And 4:00 in Poland. (scattered laughter) Just kidding. Tristan, you just wrapped up shooting your first season of "MacGyver", I understand. Tristan: Ohhh -- yes. Lots of action and fun. Doug: And when can we see your show? Tristan: Friday nights at 8:00. Doug: Followed by "Hawaii Five-0" of course. Great having you here, Tristan. Ladies, if we have more time, we'll chat more. But right now, we have a match in progress -- with today's rollers. (audience cheers) (theme plays; audience applause) Lenny Jackson and Matt Ringgenberg join Mariana and me here at the dice table. Matt so far has won $6400. He's a grocery cashier from Iowa. Mariana, perhaps you two can network during the break. (scattered laughter from the crowd) Lenny Jackson is up one game in this match. He's a high school student and has amassed in cash and merch $87,375. (audience cheers) For anyone who wasn't with us yesterday -- first of all, invest in a working DVR -- (scattered laughter from the crowd) -- On A Roll no longer keeps track of a money score to crown a champ. It's the best two games out of three. Winner of each game plays Big 6 for up to $60,000 -- or, if you take the match, the potential stakes double to $120,000. (audience cheers) And after you play Big 6, it's on to Lucky 7 where we have a cash payoff of $250,000, a new car worth more than a quarter million -- and much more. (audience cheers) So, let's start this new game in the match with a name game. First player with the right answer earns the first of the round's four rolls of the dice. (FF reveal sfx)And we're starting off big with an eleven-letter famous last name. Lenny, Matt, first question's a long one -- so play carefully, please. Hands on the buzzers and away we go. Give me the last name of the actor who was already on a roll -- when he landed a role as a villain in a "Star Trek" movie. (ding)
(Lenny and Matt, please PM me your answer and a buzz-code from 1-100.)

19 redrangerdude 82 mringgenberg 30 random.org (Lenny buzzes in) Lenny? Lenny: Cumberbatch (dings; audience applause)That's it. Benedict Cumberbatch. Lenny, please step into the box. You'll have control of the dice for four rolls. Let's now load up our game board, please. (FF reveal sfx; Tristan poses by numbered and blocked spaces) And -- wow -- lot of letters up there. A two-word clue at the top, two-word clue in the middle row and a three-word clue at the bottom. Those clues lead to the identity of a person, place or thing. Lenny, as you know, you'll roll those bones to uncover as many of those letters as you can -- based on the numbers and sum that come up. The letters that are blocked by question marks stay blocked until you correctly solve a clue. As always, please be careful and do *not* roll doubles. Anytime you throw doubles, you lose the dice to Matt -- as he takes command of the round and a free letter along the way. (Mariana hands Lenny the dice) Thank you, Mariana. Lenny, you know the rules, you have the dice and you -- are on a roll. (Lenny rolls)Good start -- a 1 and a 6. Lenny, you make take any 1 and any 6 off the board -- and you don't have to play those numbers on the same row -- or you may play the sum and take any 7.

(Tristan touches screen) Starting with a T... (Tristan touches screen) ...and an O. Lenny, you may guess the bottom clue or roll again. Players know this. For new viewers, anytime a player makes a wrong guess on a clue or the overall puzzle, there's no penalty and the contestant is still on a roll.

(Tristin touches screen) Well -- that's a relief -- I think -- an E. Lenny, while we're still on the air -- (scattered laughter from the crowd) -- you may guess the top clue, guess the bottom clue or take the last roll of this round -- and possibly the series. (dings; audience applause) That's right. Well -- Lenny -- if you can solve the overall puzzle, you'll win the match and play Big 6 for a potential $120,000 -- and then go to Lucky 7 for possible a quarter million more in cash or merchandise. If you're wrong or want to bypass a guess, we'll play another name game with you and Matt.

Okay. We'll leave the board as is for now. Lenny's already back at his buzzer. Both Matt and Lenny are ready to signal. So let's set up the next name game. (FF reveal sfx)Nine-letter answer -- and here's the question. Who gets on a roll -- when he debates issues in the world of sports with Stephen A. Smith? (ding)
(Lenny and Matt, please PM me your answer and a buzz code.)

I remember when he hosted "Around The Horn" Lenny, come on back to the box, please. Everything outside of doubles is good. So as long as you don't throw doubles -- you -- are on a roll. (Lenny rolls)And you start off with a 6 and a 3... ...or a 9.

(dings; audience applause) That's it. Lenny -- the world's your oyster right now. You have another chance to solve the puzzle. A right solution means you win the match. A wrong answer or a pass means you get to roll again; everything outside of doubles is still good. What'cha wanna do?

(audience cheers) Seeing Felix Unger ruled out "MacGyver". (scattered laughter from the crowd) No offense, Tristin. For the game -- and the match -- is it -- "The Odd Couple"? (dings; SCSD win theme plays; audience cheers) That's it -- and Lenny has the championship. First, let's reveal the last clue. I bet a lot of you had that middle clue figured out. (FF reveal sfx) Yup -- the other main character -- Oscar Madison. Now, before we get nasty correspondence, I want to point out something. The TV shows -- including the current series you see here on CBS -- spell Felix's last name U-N-G-E-R. In the play and the movie, Felix's last name is spelled U-N-G-*A*-R. You'll also recall another network cast Ron Glass and Demond Wilson in a show entitled "The New Odd Couple". Had Lenny or Matt guessed that title, we'd have to take it as a correct answer. (Mariana places dice near Matt's buzzer) But, ultimately, Lenny did win this match fair and square. Matt, sorry you got blitzed here in this game. But you did pick up $6400 in your time with us. You take that along with our great thanks for playing On A Roll's Big Money Week. Another nice hand for Matt Ringgenberg. (audience cheers) (Mariana walks Matt off the stage) How ya like that? Two cashiers walking off into the sunset. Only in America. Lenny, it's money roll time. Since you won the match, this roll is for tens of thousands of dollars instead of fives of thousands. Doubles are okay to roll here. If you roll box cars, the Big 6 word will be worth a maximum of $120,000. (audience cheers) When you're feeling lucky, give 'em a roll. (Matt rolls)(cha-ching) (audience cheers) A 5 and 4 make for a $90,000 game of Big 6. We'll play that and Lucky 7 -- when you come back to the dice table. (theme plays; audience cheers) (theme plays)
