Rolling again. Let's see what happens. (Lenny rolls)Ohhh -- 1 and 2 or 3... (buzz)(audience groans) All numbers lower than 4 are gone. Sorry, Lenny. (Lenny buzzes in) As we have a changing of the rollers, Antonio, before you make a decision on the dice, please take one free letter.

(Mariana touches screen)And you get an O. Antonio, you may guess the bottom row's clue, roll again or pass the dice back to Lenny. Any roll including a 6 on one of the dice or sums higher than a 5 are playable.

Rolling again. Being brave. Let's see what happens. (Antonio rolls) And it's good -- 6 and 5 or 11. The fives are gone -- but you may take the 6 or 11 from the middle row.

(Mariana touches screen) And there's an M. Antonio, you may guess the middle clue if you'd like. We have one roll left in the round -- yours to take or pass. Either way, the roller's looking for a sum higher than 6.

(audience cheers) You realize, Antonio, if you're right, you'll be the first contestant in CBS game show history to actually *benefit* from a dragon. (scattered laughter from the crowd) For the game -- is it -- the dragon? (dings; SCSD win theme plays; audience cheers)Got it! Just to quickly tie up the loose end on the bottom row. Please go ahead and show it to us, fellers and ladies. Puff is one -- as in Puff the Magic Dragon. (Tristin places dice near Antonio's buzzer) Well, a seesaw game is won by Antonio. Your money roll's coming shortly. Lenny, just your first loss in the match -- which does resume on our next show. You'll have plenty of time to make a comeback. Right now, Tristin will walk you offstage and on to the comfiest chair in the studio. We'll see you next time, Lenny Jackson. (audience cheers) (Tristin and Lenny walk stage right) Antonio, your first chances to win big money come now. They start with your money roll. This determines top dollar for Big 6 -- and this is for $5000 a point. Good luck and let's see some big numbers (Antonio claps dice together... (... and then rolls ...)(cha-ching) (scattered cheers) Eh, a 4 times five large. We'll play a $20,000 game of Big 6 -- after this. (theme plays; audience cheers) (theme plays)
Welcome back to On A Roll's Big Money Week. Antonio, we want to save some time for a Big Money Week audience game. So we'll dive right into your Big 6 game right now. Wally, a hint, please. (ding) Thing. Antonio, we'll clarify this six-letter thing has been authenticated by Dictionary.com. Much like the main games, we give you four rolls of the dice. If you roll two different numbers, you may only play one of the numbers and you can't play the sum. Correctly identify this thing after just one roll, you win $20,000. If you need a second roll, we drop the value down to $5000. Each additional roll you need cuts the potential winnings in half. Doubles are still bad. Roll a double -- or a pair of numbers you've already played -- and it's a wasted roll and we'll deduct the potential playoff accordingly. Any questions?

(Tristin hands Antonio dice) If you have no questions -- you -- are on a roll. (Antonio rolls)Oh! (buzz) (audience groans) Unfortunately, that's a wasted roll and we dock the value down to $5000. Okay, shake it off and roll again, please. (Antonio rolls)Ack! (buzz) (louder audience groans) Gosh, we didn't have many doubles in the main games today -- and they come up at the wrong time here. Okay, Antonio. Third roll. Let's make it a good one. (Antonio rolls)(audience cheers) That's more like it -- a 1 and a 3. Would you like for Wally to reveal the first or third letter?

First letter, please, Wally. (ding)Ahh -- this *could* be a good choice -- a Z. Now -- you've already lost two rolls to those durn doubles. Think of all the Z words that are six letters long, narrow them down to certain things -- and come up with one good guess for $2500.

Second letter, please, Wally. (ding)And it's an O. Antonio, if you solve this Big 6 word correctly, you win $1250. If not, we give you $500 consolation and we'll advance to Lucky 7. But let's see if you can nail it here. What is this thing?

Zombie

Post by dougmorrisontheair on Apr 1, 2017 8:12:36 GMT -5
(scattered groans) "The Walking Dead" fans might think a zombie is closer to a person than a thing. But let's see. For $1250, Wally, is it a zombie? (buzz; NYSI89 losing horns; audience groans)No -- and Wally says you should check your horoscope. Why so, Wally? (FF reveal sfx)(scattered groans) Zodiac -- that was the Big 6 word. Well, Antonio, as I alluded to earlier, you can't leave Big 6 empty handed. We do give you $500. So you've got that -- and you've also got a chance to win big in Lucky 7. Wally, please set us up. (FF reveal sfx)Now, Antonio, lemme give you a dose of encouragement. On your last roll of Big 6, you rolled a 2 and a 5. Last time I checked, 2 and 5 add up to 7. You're looking to roll that or any other sum of 7 to win a big cash payoff or a nice prize. They're all hiding behind the letters in the word "lucky". Which letter would you like?

Let's see what C is hiding. (dings; audience cheers) Woahhhhhh, Nelly! You found top dollar. $250,000. Now, with a big cash prize on the line... (alarm goes off) ... Wally's probably setting the shutdown timer for a low number of rolls. Again, based on the value of that cash award against the values of the other awards and prizes, he's going to set the maximum number of chances you have to roll a sum of 7. The shutdown timer is being set for... (ding) ...three rolls. You'll have no more than three tries to roll any sum of 7. Each roll that doesn't add up to 7 means you bank that roll's value in hundreds of dollars. Doubles are worse than they were in Big 6. Roll a double at any time in Lucky 7, that roll's worthless, the timer automatically shuts down -- and Lucky 7 comes to a sudden end. One more piece of encouragement before you're back on a roll. Recall Lenny played Lucky 7 for $100,000, had four tries to win it -- and only needed one. If he can do it, so can you. (scattered cheers) Ready to roll for a quarter of a million dollars?

All right, Antonio. For a quarter of a million dollars -- you -- are -- on -- a -- roll. (audience cheers as...) (Antonio rolls)Starting off with a 5. That's $500. Two more rolls. (audience still cheering) (Antonio rolls)That's a niner for $900 more. But you're looking for a roll of 7. Last try. Think you got a 7 in you, Antonio?

It's all we can ask. And I'm going to ask the crowd to root him on *and* chant "seven". Can ya do it crowd? (audience cheers; starts chanting, "Seh-ven! Seh-ven! Seh-ven! Seh-ven! Seh-ven! Seh-ven!") When your ready, roll 'em one more time. (crowd still chanting, "Seh-ven! Seh-ven! Seh-ven! Seh-ven! Seh-ven! Seh-ven! Seh-ven! Seh-ven! Seh-ven! Seh-ven! Seh-ven! Seh-ven! Seh-ven! Seh-ven! Seh-ven! Seh-ven! Seh-ven! Seh-ven!") (Antonio rolls) (buzz; NYSI89 losing horns; audience groans)Darn it. And -- even Wally was pulling for you. Well, you did win $1800 in this session of Lucky 7. We add that to your prior winnings from Big 6. Wally, please crunch the numbers for Antonio. (FF reveal sfx) (audience applause) $2300. Modest beginning. But remember, Antonio, you're currently leading in the match one game to none. Win another game on the next show, you become champ and play for more than $300,000 between Big 6 and Lucky 7. (audience cheers) We'll resolve the match with Lenny and Antonio on Day 3 of Big Money Week -- but we want to have one more big money moment. Hopefully, we'll have it -- after this! (theme plays; audience cheers)

We seek an audience game player for On A Roll right now. We'll be playing Doug's Dice Game, OAR's version of TPiR's Dice Game, which *could* pay off more than $40,000.
Due to severe weather that, unfortunately, is on its ways to my neighborhoods right now, the *real* start of the audience game may not start until Monday night.
(Shouldn't be *too* bad. A lot of schools have informed local media they'll operate on a two- or three-hour delay -- but no closings as of this writing. Thanks, though, in advance for understanding if I operate a little slow.)
