(dings; audience applause) Graphite is right. All right, Lenny, you now have two clues -- and a chance to solve the puzzle.
(In case you want to bypass a guess, please clearly indicate same and also respond with "roll" or "pass".)

WRITING TOOL

|
Post by dougmorrisontheair on Feb 16, 2017 22:59:12 GMT -5
(FF reveal sfx)Yup -- a writing tool with graphite that often comes in a number two variety is a pencil, all right. (Beth places dice near Matt's buzzer) Well, Matt, I don't think anything out of the ordinary happened in this game. So you're down one game in the match. Good news is you won $6400 in cash earlier -- with a chance to win much more on the next show. We'll see you tomorrow, Matt. (audience cheers) (Matt and Beth walk off the stage) As Beth escorts Matt to the comfiest chair in the studio, Lenny, it's money roll time. Now, again, since nothing wacky happened in this game, this is a legit money roll for $5000 a point. Doubles are okay to roll here -- so a roll of boxcars makes Big 6 worth $60,000. (scattered cheers and woos) Good luck and give 'em a roll. (Lenny rolls) (audience cheers)Got the ballerina roll -- a two-two for $20,000. Hey, it's Craps lingo; look it up! (scattered laughter from the crowd) See if Lenny can take us for 20 large and then a quarter million -- when On A Roll's Big Money Week returns. (theme plays; audience cheers) (theme plays)

(audience cheers) On A Roll's Big Money Week is back -- and so is Lenny. So is Wally. May we have the numbers for Big 6, please, Wally? (FF reveal sfx) For those just joining us, the dice faces accordingly hide the letters that spell out Lenny's Big 6 word. Much like the main game, Lenny, you're going to try to uncover as many letters in the Big 6 word as you possibly can. Wally's about to give us a hint about the word. Wally, may we have the hint, please? (ding) It's a thing. Lenny, to clarify, this Big 6 word, which refers to a certain thing, has been authenticated by Dictionary.com. As in the main games, you get four rolls of the dice. Here in Big 6, if you roll two different numbers, you may only take one of the two numbers you rolled -- and you can never play the sum. After your first roll, if you can correctly solve the Big 6 word, you pocket $20,000. (audience cheers) But if you need a second roll, the value of the Big 6 word drops to $5000 -- and for each roll thereafter, we cut the potential winnings in half. Steer clear of the doubles -- because anytime you throw doubles or two different numbers you've already played, that counts as a wasted roll and reduces your potential winnings accordingly. (Beth hands Lenny the dice) So, you have the rules, you have the dice -- and you -- are on a roll. (audience cheers) (Lenny rolls)First roll for the champ is a 1 and a 4. Would you like for Wally to reveal the first or fourth letter?

(a few cheers) Are we stuffing Lenny's wallet with another $2500 -- because he said -- "wallet"? (dings; SCSD win theme plays; audience cheers) There ya go! Another $2500 for you. You're up to about $4500 in cash winnings, if I recall correctly. Lenny won a mighty fine car worth more than 80 grand last week. Now, he could win another car or up to a quarter million in cash. Wally, please set up for Lucky 7. (FF reveal sfx) Thank you, Wally. Lenny, you saw Matt play the new Lucky 7. It's now your turn to play the new Lucky 7. Cash and merchandise are hiding behind the letters in the word "lucky". One of them has the top cash prize of $250,000. (audience cheers) *And* -- let's not forget the car worth more than a quarter million. The South American cruise is still up there -- as is other cash awards. Lenny, which letter would you like?

Going for U. Lenny, you're playing for... (dings; audience cheers) ...$64,000 in cash. That's big money alright. (alarm goes off) Wally's activating the shutdown timer. Based on the value of the cash prize against the values of the others, he's going to set the maximum number of chances you have to roll any sum of 7. (ding) And Wally has set the shutdown timer for five rolls. For each time you fail to come up with a lucky roll of 7, you pick up the roll's sum in hundreds of dollars. Doubles are still bad. Roll a double at any time in Lucky 7, you don't win any money, the timer automatically shuts down -- and Lucky 7 comes to a sudden end. Ready to roll for $64,000, Lenny?

All right, Lenny. For $64,000 -- you -- are on a roll. (audience cheers as...) (Lenny rolls)Starting with a 1 and a 4 for $500. Four chances left. Just takes one to win 64 large. (Lenny rolls)(scattered groans) Oh -- close -- an 8 for $800. Three more tries. (Lenny rolls) Another roll of 5 for five more bills. Need any sum of 7 to win big. (Lenny rolls)(louder groans) Oh -- another close call. Another $800 though. Last try for the big money. (Lenny rolls)(buzz; NYSI89 losing horns; audience groans)There's a 10 -- and that's the game. Yup -- couple of close calls alright. Good news is you won a total of $6100 between Lucky 7 and Big 6. We add all that cash to your prior winnings for a total of -- how much Wally? (FF reveal sfx) (audience cheers) $87,375. Lenny, we'll see you and Matt tomorrow. You'll play for the championship and a lot of cash. A lucky member of the studio audience will get a chance to win big -- after this. (theme plays; audience cheers)

(fade in from black; the "2 Broke Girls" stars, Doug, audience game player, Lenny and Matt are all standing around the dice table) (audience cheers) Welcome back to On A Roll. Lenny, Matt, we'll see you both on the next show to finish off your match. Lenny's up one game. Lenny, if you win the next game -- or, Matt, if you win two games in a row -- you'll play Big 6 for double the stakes. And don't forget Lucky 7 for a quarter million in cash or cast. Right now, we've got Frank Driscoll here in the center of the action. Frank, you'll play our audience game shortly. But first, please tell us about yourself.

Ahhh -- okay. Well, if you win this prize, you might have to play a lot of hooky from your studies. Tiff, please tell Frank what he's playing for. Tiffany: Yeah, Frank, this may be good news or bad news. It's admission to Coachella with hotel accommodations. (TF underscore plays) (audience cheers) Our On A Roll limo service will take you and a companion from Television City to Indio, California -- where you'll spend a week and a half at a luxurious hotel near the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival -- coming this April.
Scheduled acts include Beyoncé, Radiohead, Kendrick Lamar and much more. And when it's all over, our limo driver takes you and your companion back to Television City.
And, because it's big money week, we'll throw in $15,000 in cash -- to make this prize package worth $19,420. (audience cheers) And -- yeah -- the producers are telling me, through the floor director, if you can't make it down to Coachella, you'll keep the cash if you win this game -- and then we'll hold a drawing for that Coachella prize for another audience member after the show. Before that possible round of negotiations, we'll play our version of Penny Ante. As you see, we've already spotted you ten pennies. In a moment, you'll roll one dice cube three times. The number on each roll determines how many pennies we take away. So if you roll a 1, we just take away one penny. But if you roll a 6, that means six pennies go down the drain. If you can hang on to at least one penny at the end of the game, you'll get to trade in your remaining money for $15,000 in cash and, depending on your availability, the Coachella experience. Ready to play?

(Beth hands Frank the specially made Concentration dice cube -- as a nod to the rebus game show's inclusion in a certain other network's anniversary special) All right, you've got the cube, you've got all of our support. Frank -- you -- are on a roll. (audience cheers) (Frank rolls) (more cheers) Hey now! A 1. You only lose one penny. (ding) Now, there are two rolls left. If the next roll is a 1 or a 2, there would be no way you could lose. Then again, if you roll a big number, you might be in big trouble. So -- tell ya what we're gonna do. I'll buy back the remaining pennies you have at $100 each. That's a guaranteed $900 you have right now to stop the game. Or -- you may decline; if you decline, you'd still be on a roll and have a shot at winning the whole kit and caboodle. What say ye? (audience shouts suggestion)
