Time to start the first On A Roll of 2017. And we're starting in a big way -- because this marks the start of Big Money Week -- with new ways to win big cash and luxurious prizes.
Lenny Jackson returns with one match win and $81,275 in cash and merchandise. Who wants to oppose him?
We'll bypass qualifying to move matters forward. Anyone who hasn't opposed Lenny in OAR may play.

Staff announcer: TV 11 -- your eye on the island. (vamp to opening theme as camera zooms in on game board) Tiffany Phillips: Today, we unveil a... Tiffany Phillips: ...new way to play -- with a... Tiffany Phillips: ...new bonus game -- *and*... Tiffany Phillips: ...tons of cash. Welcome to a special big money week of......Tiffany Phillips: ...On A Roll! (opening theme plays; audience cheers) Joining us at the game board is, from "2 Broke Girls", Beth Behrs. Our dice girl for Game 1 is, also from "2 Broke Girls", Kat Dennings. And here's our host, ready to get on a roll, Doug Morris! (audience cheers) Doug: Thank you, Tiffany. Hellooooooo, everybody, and welcome to the start of a special big money week of On A Roll. I don't know about you -- but I find it odd we're starting a big money week -- with the stars of "2 *Broke* Girls". (audience laughs) Doug: So we thank Beth and Kat for being good sports about that. Beth, I understand someone famous helped you get into acting. Beth: Yes -- I love her for that. Helen Hunt was my acting teacher. (audience cheers) Doug: Name rings a bell with many out there. I swear, if "Mad About You" were still on the air, you could play Jamie's daughter. Beth: (laughs) You're not the first to mention that. Doug: And Kat, the recent episode where your character and Beth's dressed as zombies. I'm curious -- how long did it take for the makeup job? Kat: Oh -- gosh -- three hours. It was unreal. Doug: I bet it was. Well, ladies, I'd love to chat more. But we have a big money week to get on the road -- and let's get on a roll -- with today's rollers. (theme plays; audience applause) Lenny Jackson and Matt Ringgenberg join Kat and me here at the dice table. Lenny, last week, you won the championship, a new car and a couple of grand in cash for a total of $81,275. (audience cheers) For anyone who missed your performance, please tell them a little something something about yourself.

Oh, are your fellow students going to be jealous when you drive that car around campus. Perhaps you'll win another today.
Good luck to you, Lenny. And, Matt, as we wish you good luck, please tell us about yourself.

Great to have you hear from Iowa. Again, good luck to you both. Now, to our friends watching at home, Big Money Week starts a new format here with On A Roll. We no longer keep track of a money score to determine a champion. We're now starting a best two-out-of-three match. The winner of each game plays our new Big 6 game. The winner of the match will play Big 6 for bigger stakes. After every Big 6 game, we play Lucky 7 -- where, this week, more than $200,000 in cash or merchandise can be won. (audience cheers) We'll talk more about that later. But the way we start a match is no different -- with a name game. First one to buzz in with the right answer to a question gets control of four rolls of the dice. The right answer to every name game is a famous person's last name. We'll start with a sample name game. (FF reveal sfx)Eight letters are in this answer. I'd then read a question. Here's the sample question. "Who's been on a roll -- ever since she portrayed Max Black on '2 Broke Girls'?" (scattered laughter and applause from the crowd) (director takes one shot of Kat -- who's laughing) Kat, you'll understand why we're using this right now as an example. (more laughter from the crowd) As soon as three letters randomly pop in... (ding)...the players may signal. First one to chime in gets to guess -- and if he's right, he wins control of the dice. If not, his opponent get a chance to steal -- as three *more* letter pop in. (ding)And I think we know the answer by now. Audience? Audience: (for the most part in unison) DENNINGS! (ding) (audience cheers) There we go. We'll load up our puzzle later. Right now, let's start our first proper name game. (FF reveal sfx)And it's a new eight-letter famous last name. Lenny, Matt, hands on the buzzers, please. Here we go. Who's been on a roll -- ever since she portrayed Abby on "NCIS"?(ding)
(Lenny and Matt, please PM me your answer and a buzz-code from 1-100.)

[Matt elected to pass -- so...] (Lenny buzzes in) Lenny? Lenny: Perrette. (dings; audience applause)Pauley Perrette. That's here. Lenny, please step into the box. You'll take command of four rolls of the dice. But first, we need to load up our game board. (FF reveal sfx; Beth poses by numbered and blocked spaces) And three clues at two words each. The clues lead to the identity of a person, place or thing. Lenny, as you know, you'll try to uncover as many of those letters as you can -- with the numbers and sums that you roll with our dice. The letters that are blocked by question marks stay blocked until you correctly solve a clue. As always, please be careful and do *not* roll doubles. Anytime you throw doubles, you lose your turn to Matt -- as he takes command of the round, the remaining rolls and a free letter along the way. (Kat hands Lenny the dice) Thank you, Kat. Lenny, you know the rules, you have the dice and you -- are on a roll. (Lenny rolls)First roll of the match is a 2 and a 3. Lenny, you may take any 2 and any 3 off the board -- and you don't have to take them on the same row -- or you may combine the numbers and take any 5.

(Beth touches screen)You get an O... (Beth touches screen)...and a V. Lenny, you may guess the middle row's clue or roll again. Players, please keep in mind if you guess a clue or the puzzle and you're wrong, no penalty and you're still on a roll.

All right. Two rolls left. Matt wants you to roll doubles. (Lenny rolls)(scattered cheers) But you don't. Same combination as before. A 6 and a 4 -- or a 10.

All right. Last roll of the round. Make it a good one. (Lenny rolls)(scattered groans) After two big rolls, he comes up with a puny 1 and a 2... ...or a 3 -- and obviously, you'll have to make a move outside of the middle row.

(Beth touches screen) Going top shelf for an I... (Beth touches screen)...and an N. Lenny, that was the last roll of the round. You may guess the top clue, if you'd like. If you guess the top clue and you're wrong -- or just want to bypass a guess altogether -- we proceed with another name game.

Beth: Whoops. Doug: I thought you said top row, too. Big Money Week's off to a great start, huh? (scattered laughter from the crowd) (obvious edit) Doug: Tell ya what we're gonna do. We'll play the rest of this game just for funsies. The winner of this game plays Big 6 for the money roll at $10,000 a point instead of $5000. The loser of this game won't suffer a loss. Then, after Lucky 7, the match will *really* begin. So, with that, let's see the first two clues at the bottom row, please. (Beth touches screen)Doug: There's an M.... (Beth touches screen)...and an A. Lenny, you may guess the top row or the bottom row.

All righty then. Please head back to your buzzer. Matt, you're back in it. Here's the next name game. (FF reveal sfx)And your eyes do not deceive. Just a six-letter name game. We'll still reveal three letters after I read the question. If no correct answer, we'll just reveal two more letters. And here's the question. Who got on a roll -- on "The View" and later the daytime version of "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire"? (ding)
(Lenny and Matt, please PM me your answer and a buzz code from 1-100.)
