I'd say you're right about the bottom clue. Top row's gotta be "Indian Outlaw". (FF reveal sfx) Yes. "Indian Outlaw" -- title of one of Tim's biggest hits in the 1990s -- and he's a male singer. Now -- we move forward with the money roll. Matt, this money roll *would* be worth $5000 a point. But since this game's on the house, we'll make it worth $10,000 a point. So -- Matt -- when you're ready -- give 'em a roll. (Matt rolls) (audience cheers) A 3 and a 4 for a total of 7. That means we'll play a $70,000 game of Big 6 -- right after this. (theme plays; audience cheers) (theme plays)

(fade from black with cast surrounding dice table; Matt's in box; Lenny's at his side of the dice table for moral support) (audience cheers) Welcome back to On A Roll. Matt Ringgenberg has just won the right to play for up to $70,000 in Big 6 with the help of Wally. (audience cheers) Wally, ready to play Big 6? (audience laughs) Yeah yeah -- whatever. May we have the numbers for Big 6, please. (FF reveal sfx) All right, Matt, the dice faces accordingly hide the letters that spell out your Big 6 word. Much like the main game, you're going to try to uncover as many letters in the Big 6 word as you possibly can. Wally's about to give us a hint about the word. Wally, may we have the hint, please? (ding) Crowd pleaser. To clarify, Matt, this Big 6 word *is* a proper noun and it's related to the world of entertainment. Now, much like the earlier game, you get four rolls of the dice. What's different here is if you roll two different numbers, you may only take one of the two numbers you rolled -- and you can never play the sum. So if you rolled a 1 and a 3, you could have Wally reveal the first letter or the third letter -- but not the fourth letter. After your first roll, if you can correctly solve the Big 6 word, you pocket $70,000. (audience cheers) But if you need a second roll, the value of the Big 6 word drops to $10,000 -- and for each roll thereafter, we cut the potential winnings in half. While you're on a roll in Big 6, anytime you throw doubles or two different numbers you've already played, that counts as a wasted roll and reduces your potential winnings accordingly. No matter how well you do in Big 6, the Lucky 7 game follows where much more can be won. For now, Matt, ready to win big in Big 6?

(Kat hands Matt dice) All right, Matt. Good luck. For $70,000, you -- are on a roll. (audience cheers) (Matt rolls) (audience groans) (buzz) Ah, man. First doubles of the show. Unfortunately, Big 6 value's already down to $10,000. Better luck with the next roll. (Matt rolls)And you get a 3 and a 1. Would you like the first or third letter, Matt?

(scattered groans) It is entertainment-related -- but I don't think "Hockey" is a proper noun. Wally, for $10,000, is it "Hockey"? (buzz) Nope -- and take a look at the extra hint Wally's offering. We're looking for a title. With that, Big 6 is now worth $5000. You're still on a roll. (Matt rolls)A 1 and a 4. You've already taken the 1 -- so, Wally, please show us the fourth letter. (ding) It's a T. For $5000, Matt, what is this crowd-pleaser?

(buzz buzz) Bypassing a guess -- and we're down to the last roll for $2500. Make it a good roll. (Matt rolls)A 1 and a 6. Again, you've already taken the 1 -- so here comes the sixth letter in this title. (ding) It's a D. Matt, you get this right, you win $2500. If you don't, we give you $1000. So -- think it over -- and tell us this title of a crowd-pleaser.

Hunted?

(scattered cheers) For $2500, is it -- "Hunted"? (dings; SCSD win theme plays; audience cheers) Yes -- and you've indeed found the answer -- "Hunted". It's the title of the new reality competition show where law enforcement professionals track down nine pairs of contestants. All right, Matt. $2500 to the good with a chance to win much more. Wally, please set up our new Lucky 7 game. (FF reveal sfx) Thanks, Wally. Matt, here's how our new Lucky 7 game works. Wally will give you a certain number of chances to roll any sum of 7 on the dice. But before Wally sets the timer, we need to find out what is at stake. All you have to do is pick a letter in the word "lucky". Three of the letters hide different amounts of money -- including the top cash payoff of $250,000. (audience cheers) The remaining two letters hide prizes. Right, Tiffany? (IIR spinner music plays) (director takes one shot of Matt -- then a zoom-in shot of the big screen in the audience area) Tiffany: Absolutely, Doug. Matt, a lucky sum of 7 could be worth -- THIS NEW CAR! (audience cheers) The Ferrari GTC4Lusso T comes with a turbo-powered V8 engine -- meaning you can go from zero to 60 in three seconds. This luxurious ride is worth -- $260,150. (audience cheers) Or you could win a cruise of South America. You and a guest will have an unforgettable 52-day South American sailing vacation from Delta Line Cruises. Visit 15 exotic ports while enjoying luxurious accommodations. We're also adding $20,000 in cash to make this vacation package worth $58,485. (audience cheers) All right, Tiffany. Thank you. Matt, cash and merchandise worth more than $600,000 are hiding behind those letters. (more cheers and woos) Which letter would you like?

The L

Post by dougmorrisontheair on Feb 4, 2017 22:45:44 GMT -5
Taking the L in "lucky". Matt, this means you're playing for... (dings; audience cheers) ...the trip -- which is actually the cruise of South America worth more than $58,000. Now, here's what's about to happen. (alarm goes off) Wally's now activated the shutdown timer. Based on the value of the vacation against the values of the other prizes, he's going to set the maximum number of chances you have to roll a sum of 7. (ding) And Wally has set the shutdown timer for six rolls. You'll have no more than six tries to roll any total of 7. For each time you fail to come up with a lucky roll of 7, you pick up the roll's sum in hundreds of dollars. That means if you roll a 5 and a 6, you'll pocket $1100. Here's the catch. Doubles are still bad. Roll a double at any time in Lucky 7, you don't win any money, the timer automatically shuts down -- and Lucky 7 comes to a sudden end. Matt, are you ready to roll for $58,485 in cash and vacation?

(audience cheers) And welcome back to On A Roll's Big Money Week. Matt just got an appetizer of the big money experience winning $6400. Lenny, our current champion, still has more than $82,000 in cash and automobile. Players, barring another mishap in the game we're about to start, this is the proper start of the match. Before we start a name game, let's reintroduce our guest models from "2 Broke Girls". Kat Dennings will now work the game board. Beth Behrs is with the rest of us here at the dice table. (FF reveal sfx)And we're going to restart the match with a nine-letter name game. Players, hands on buzzers, please -- and away we go. Who got on a roll -- when he became the first astronaut to walk on Earth's moon? (ding)
(Lenny and Matt, please PM me your answer and a buzz code.)

57 redrangerdude 71 mringgenberg 48 random.org (Lenny buzzes in) Lenny? Lenny: Armstrong (dings; audience applause)Wapak's own Neil Armstrong. Wapak as in Wapakoneta, Ohio. I'm slipping into my Ohioisms. In any event, Lenny, please take your place in the box. Four rolls of the dice are yours and let's load up the game board, please. (FF reveal sfx; Kat poses by numbered and blocked spaces) And we have a two-word clue at the top, an eight-letter clue word in the middle -- and a two-word clue at the bottom. (Beth hands Lenny dice) You have the dice and the numbered and blocked spaces. So -- Lenny -- you -- are on a roll. (Lenny rolls)And -- this again -- a 4 and a 6... ...or a 10.

Step out of the block, please. Lenny, no need to hop back in since we're out of rolls. But you're still entitled to one free letter.
