Well, actually, we met each other last week and spent hours... playing Monopoly.
(Back to his place) Anyway, well this time, I'm going to throw money to the Global Partnership for Education, so that the children in need get books and better lifes.

I am playing for the American Cancer Society today. A great many loved ones, especially my beloved Grandmother Charlotte as well as two of my sisters-in-law all died from this dreadful disease, so it is a cause that is near and dear to my heart to be sure. And of course October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, however it is something that we all need to be vigilant about throughout all twelve months of the year. One of my sisters-in-law died from this in January 2011.

(audience applause) Well said, Bill. My mom fought that battle -- and won. So those of you fighting breast cancer, keep the faith; you can win. Bill and Billy, best of luck to you both. To ensure each of your charities will receive something from us... (ding) ...we put $2500 into each of your banks. Every dollar you bank goes to your charity. Every name game we play is worth an additional $2500. Solving a clue on the game board, which we'll load later, is worth $2500. Solving the overall puzzle is worth $5000. The player who banks more money at the end of the show -- between the main games and our new bonus rounds -- wins the celebrity championship of On A Roll. So -- good luck to you both and let's start the match with this name game. (FF reveal sfx)Correct answer to this question is a nine-letter famous last name. I'll ask the question -- and we'll then randomly reveal three letters in the answer. First player to signal and give us the right answer banks money -- and gets on a roll. First name game question goes something -- like this. Who got on a roll -- when she won a season of "American Idol"? (ding)
(Billy and Bill, please PM me your answer and a buzz code from 1-100.)

65 patpun2016 58 billmcdee 16 random.org (Bill McDee buzzes) Doug: Bill McDee? Bill Mc.: UNDERWOOD (dings; audience applause) Doug: That's it. Carrie Underwood. Bill Mc.: This is far too eerie but also cool Doug. One memory I have of my grandmother who I mentioned earlier, she had cases of Underwood Deviled ham that she kept on shelves that led down to her basement, so it's so cool that UNDERWOOD was the first answer!!! Doug: Ah, so that's why you answered with so much confidence. Bill, just like that, you're up to $5000. Step right into the box, please. Because four rolls of the dice are yours. Now, let's load up the game board. (FF reveal sfx; Paige poses by numbered and blocked spaces) And we have nothing but two-word clues for this game. Bill, as you know, you're going to use the numbers you roll on the dice to uncover as many of the letters on our game board as you can. The numbered and blocked spaces hide letters. The letters make words that serve as clues to the identity of a person, place or thing. As you know, you may take numbers that match the numbers on, or sum of, the dice. Letters that are blocked by the question marks stay blocked until you correctly identify a clue. As always -- this word of advice. Please -- do *not* roll doubles. If you throw doubles, your opponent inherits the remaining rolls in a round -- and picks up one free letter. (Korinna hands Bill the dice) You've got the rules and you now have the dice, Bill. So you know what that means -- you -- are on a roll. (Bill Mc. rolls)And you start the match with a 1 and a 3. This means you play take any 1 and any 3 -- and they don't have to be on the same row -- or you may play the sum and take any 4.

(Paige touches screen) First letters in the match are a D... (Paige touches screen) ...and an R. Bill, you may guess the bottom clue or roll again. Players, just a reminder, the right guess on a clue pays $2500. Wrong guess on a clue means you're still on a roll -- provided we have at least one roll left in a round.

I'll take a guess at the bottom line since I'll get to roll again if wrong.

(TPiR Pathfinder wrong move sfx)Good guess with what you had to work with -- but the unfriendly buzzer says that's not it. To your point, Bill, you're still on a roll. (Bill Mc. rolls)And -- seems like we've seen this movie before. A 1 and a 3 -- or a 4.

Bill, please step out. Billy Gardell, you're in the game right now. You'll inherit the last roll of the round. But first... ...please take one free letter.

All righty, then. Billy, please head back to your buzzer. Hands on the buzzers, please, both players -- because here comes our next name game. (FF reveal sfx)Eight letters in the answer to this next question. And it's a bit of a follow-up question. Who got on a roll -- when *he* won a season of "American Idol"? (ding)

(No answer in time from Billy G. -- so...) (Bill McDee buzzes in)Bill McDee? Bill McDee: MCCREERY! (dings; audience applause)You know your idols. Scotty McCreery -- winner of the 10th season of idol. Bill, another $2500 for your charity. (Korrina hands Bill dice as he enters the box) Let's see if you can win more with these four rolls. Bill McDee, once again, you are on a roll. (Bill Mc. rolls) (audience groans) (insert Doug's annoyed grunt here) (buzz) Doubles again! You don't get anything for the square pair. Audience: Not in this game! Sorry about that, Bill. Billy Gardell, come on back in. You'll inherit the remaining three rolls of the round. But first, please take one free letter.

(dings; audience applause) Yes. Great job, Billy, considering what little you had to work with. You pick up $2500 for solving that clue correctly. You can pick up $5000 and the game right now -- if you can give us the solution to our puzzle. Remember, if you're wrong, you're still on a roll.
