Here comes position number 6 for Mr. Ringgenberg... A "D". Mr. Ringgenberg, you may try to solve the word, or roll the dice to try to reveal one or perhaps even 2 more letters. What do you wish to do?

Roll the dice.

And Matt rolls... (moans from the audience) Ouch, a 6 and a 3. Both of those are already exposed, so that means control goes back to you Mr. Bingel... and you get to select a bonus letter. Do you want 1, 2 or 4 Mr. Bingel?

Here comes position number 1 for you Mr. Bingel... It's an F. You can try to solve the word, or roll the dice to uncover one of the remaining 2 letters. If you roll and do not roll either a 2, a 4 or a double, Mr. Ringgenberg will regain control and get a bonus letter. If you try to guess the word right now and are wrong, Mr. Ringgenberg will also get control and a bonus letter. Matt Bingel, do you want to roll, or try to solve this word?

For $200 is it "FRIGID"? Yes! Very well done! You lead $675 to $325 currently with one more word to play, but first the money dice. Mr. Bingel do you wish to roll them, knowing if the Bandit appears you'll be back to $0, or do you wish to pass to Mr. Ringgenberg, knowing he could get on a roll and rack up a lot of money if he keeps hitting the ROLL AGAIN spaces? What do you want to do?

This means the money dice are passed to, and rolled by you Mr. Ringgenberg. Let's see what results... $200! (applause) That closes the gap now... $675 for Mr. Bingel, $525 for Mr. Ringgenberg, still anybody's round to win. Remember, only the player with the most money at the end of the round gets to keep it. 4th and final Dice Word for this round is worth $300 and control of the money dice. Again, because the bandit is on one die and because the other die has 2 sides where you can roll again, either player may still win or lose! The player who is behind gets first option, that's you Mr. Ringgenberg. Do you wish to roll the dice to reveal 2 letters of the word first, or do you wish to allow Mr. Bingel that option?

A 1 and a 5 which reveals.... A "C" and an "R". Mr. Ringgenberg, would you like to try to solve the word for $300 or pass the dice to Mr. Bingel?

Pass the dice.

That forces Mr. Bingel to roll. A free guess is only awarded when a player is allowed to take a bonus letter, so that could prove effective strategy on your part Mr. Ringgenberg. Matt B rolls: A 2 and a 5. The 5th position is already revealed, but position 2 is not. Let's see what pops in there... An "O". Mr. Bingel, do you wish to guess the word or pass the dice back to Mr. Ringgenberg?

Mr. Ringgenberg, it's your roll.... (doubles chimes) A double 6. That's great news for you Mr. Ringgenberg because not only will we reveal the 6th letter shortly, but you also get to have one other letter revealed for free. Do you want position #3 or #4 revealed?

Position 6 is a "D" and position 3 is a "W".. Mr. Ringgenberg, for $300, the lead in the round, and control of the money dice, what is the word?

Right for $300! (applause) You currently lead $825 to $675. Only the player with the most money after we play 4 Dice Words and have 4 rounds of the Money Dice wins the money and the round. You can roll the money dice, knowing one side of one die has the Bandit. If he turns up you lose all your money. The other die has 2 sides where a player can roll again. Mr. Bingel trails by $150. If you pass the money dice and he gets more than $150 he wins the round. Tough decision, do you want to roll the money dice yourself Mr. Ringgenberg, or pass them to Mr. Bingel?

Mr. Ringgenberg is going for the gusto. Remember, if you hit a "Roll Again" on the die, you must roll again. And he rolls... $125 but you must roll again. Mr. Bingel's hoping for a Bandit... (Audience oohs & ahhs) $75 but another roll....Mr. Bingel still alive! Next roll by Mr. Ringgenberg is... $250! And a win!!!! (repeated dinging) That was indeed a suspenseful ending to Round 1. Mr. Ringgenberg takes the round and has $1,275 in cash, his to keep no matter what. We're going to reset things and get ready for another unpredictable round, Round 2 after this!!! (cheering & applause)

(applause) Back here on DICE WORDS. That was a very enjoyable and entertaining first round I must say. Two very good players. Mr. Ringgenberg won round one and $1,275. That money is safe and his to keep no matter what. Mr. Bingel needs to win round two. If he does so, we'll have a playoff word to determine the day's winner. A specification of a rule, the player who is behind always starts with the option. Mr. Bingel, as you are behind 1 round to 0, you have the first option to roll the dice or pass them to your opponent to uncover the first 2 letters of our next DICE WORD... Mr. Bingel, roll 'em or pass 'em?
