(Doug pulls answer number 3 from toaster) Okay, that's yours.
As I take answers from stars, when you hear yours, jump, shout, holler or do something something celebratory to grab our attention. Steven, we start with you.
STAR BLANK.

(dings; audience applause; win music plays; MG-HSH theme plays)Lenny's got it. Congratulations. (players shake hands) Lenny, hop on over this way, please, and take your spot on the blue dot. Marc, by the way, picked "Star Wars". Marc, sorry the tie-break didn't work out. This platform's about to whisk you in the direction of fine parting gifts and four $100 bills. All that from Match Game. Nice hand for Marc. (more cheers; MG desks roll off stage left; rest of set rolls in) Lenny, it's time for us to play Hollywood Squares. That means Tony will be hosting, I'll be in the grid -- along with three more stars. Fun's just started folks. Stay right there!

*back to studio* (Super Match cue, Steve announces, cheers and applause)Steve: And now, Tony Lane and The Hollywood Squares.(cheers and applause)Tony: Thank you, Steve-O. Welcome back to the second half of the Match Game/Hollywood Squares Hour here at the Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland, Ohio. I am here with the winner of Match Game... Frank Driscoll. So far, he has $900 in his bankroll and he'll go one-on-one against the champion on The Hollywood Squares. Before we get to that, please allow me to re-introduce the three additional stars. Making his debut, he is the host of "Let's Make a Deal" on the other network. Introducing SAM RYAN. (cheers and applause)At top center, he's the host of "The $20,000 Pyramid" on the other network as well. Please welcome him to the show... MICHAEL KOONTZ. (cheers and applause)And finally... at top right... also making his debut... is the host of "The Dice Game" on-- you guessed it-- the other network. Introducing MATT BINGEL. (cheers and applause)So Don... how do you feel that Sarah Palin was a panelist for Match Game '16 on the other network while you as Mr. Center Square here?

I think it's great. I think it'll bring in a lot of ratings for them, and you know, I'm surprised, really. I would've thought with me being Center Square, you'd be showing this episode in primetime. I pull in great primetime numbers on NBC. You've seen The Apprentice, right? You know how well I do ratings-wise. And when I become President, my State of the Union addresses will bring in huge ratings.

I'm sure it's gonna be a hit in either prime-time or late night. Thank-you, Mr. Trump. And Bill... how do you feel now that you're sitting in the same spot as Betty White, Fannie Flagg, and the infamous (but ultra hot) Teri Copley?
|
|
|
Post by billmcdee on Aug 5, 2016 3:30:12 GMT -5
Well I am happy to report, Fannie is still alive It's definitely an unusual spot for me to be in, as I usually have the Scoey Mitchell seat, but it's rather nice down here. Would be nicer if Teri shared this spot with me of course It's nice too because during the break, my seat is much closer to the men's room now.

That's great to hear, Bill. We'll save the chat for later. Right now, let's play The Hollywood Squares.(cheers and applause)*host and Frank walk to their own desks* And playing against Frank is our returning champion. Making his third appearance on our show, he has a total of $99,898 in cash and prizes. Please welcome him back to our broadcast... Matt Ringgenberg! (cheers and applause)Matt... please tell everyone, including Mr. Trump, about yourself.

Good luck to you, Matt. The object of the game is to get three stars in a row... or get as many of the squares as you possibly can. It's up to you if the star is telling the truth or creating a scandalous bluff. That's how you get the square. We'll continue playing the game until we hear the time's up bell. Whoever is in the lead at the end of this portion will become the winner and the right to play the Super Match... where you could win as much as $100,000! (cheers and applause)Round 1 is worth $1,000... and each captured square throughout the rounds is worth $250. Matt, you'll be going first. Whenever you're all good and ready, please pick a square.
