Matt Ringgenberg is the defending champion. Today is his third appearance in this episode. So far, he has a grand total of $99.898 in cash and prizes.
Right now, we're looking for two contestants for Match Game. The winner will play against Matt for The Hollywood Squares. And we also need 4 panelists for Match Game (since Greg calls dibs on center square) and 3 additional panelists for The Hollywood Squares. If you want to participate, please let me know and which position you want according to the list below. Thank you.

Hey, guys. I suggested this to Tony and Doug last night. I was thinking of a road trip to Cleveland, with Donald Trump (or me "as" him) in the Center Square. What do you think of that?

Bill Wolff: (VO) Ladies and gentlemen, here with the State of the Match Game-Hollywood Squares Hour Address, resident Center Square Greg Palmer.(the camera fades to find Greg in a suit at a lectern, looking very presidential) Greg: My fellow Americans. This year marks the 33rd anniversary of the original MGHSH. When it began, it was revolutionary. Two game shows that were mildly connected were connected in the same hour by one set and one composition by that great American, Edd Kalehoff. However, what was excellent on paper was poor in execution. Oh sure, Gene Rayburn was there to guide the Match Game half. It was absolutely superb. However, the Hollywood Squares half was quite weak mainly because Mark Goodson didn't allow that half to function the way it should. The celebrities went in with no preparation at all, the question writing was weak, and Jon Bauman could not hold a candle to Peter Marshall. As such, the show was placed in afternoon death slots and was slaughtered by soaps. But, thanks to the great work of Ryan Morris, Doug Morris, Tony Lane, and partially myself, the Match Game-Hollywood Squares Hour is bigger and better than ever. The question writing is brilliant, and the game flows naturally. I am proud to join in the ranks of the cast and crew of this excellent program. Now, the MGHSH marches on to Cleveland, home of the Republican National Convention and home of.... Drew Carey. Personally, I will be in Cleveland, but I will also be in the great city of Philadelphia, where I will proceed to make a (tacky buzzer censor) out of Hillary Clinton! I shall return next episode. Thank you. God bless you, and God bless the United States of America! ("Cleveland Rocks" by Presidents of the United States of America)(The entire cast and crew pack themselves in a luxury tour bus to Cleveland, with a truck following them. When they arrive, the gang gets out and fools around on the floor of the RNC. We shift outside where Drew Carey is back on that truck bed. The gang lip-syncs along with "Cleveland Rocks". This sequence is basically a reconstruction of the Season 3 Drew Carey Show opening sequence, right down to Drew shouting "Ohio!" with an echoing effect.)

Thanks, Steven. Helloooooooo, everybody, and welcome to The Match Game - Hollywood Squares Hour. We bring you greetings from the city of NBA champions. (audience cheers) San Antonio, Texas! (audience boos) I kid! I kid! I kid! I kid! Seriously, after my Spurs were eliminated from the playoffs, I was hoping LeBron and company would make a run to the crown -- and they did. (audience cheers) Now that I've made nice with the crowd -- (scattered laughter) -- hello stars!

While one of our panelists is looking for a really big win, we have a returning champion who's won nearly $100,000 in cash and prizes. One of our Match Game players looks to start a winning streak of his own. So -- let the games begin. (audience cheers) (Doug and Tony shake hands; Tony goes to the lower left seat on panel; Doug walks over to MG players' desks) And keep cheering for our challengers -- Frank Driscoll and Marc Enyedy. (audience cheers) Before we begin the competition, we'd like to get acquainted. Frank, please tell us about yourself.
