Thank you to all who voted on my poll.
A great many of you wanted to see a more traditional version of Gambit, and that's what I will be doing for the P.M. series starting with this episode.
Kevin Kolsen is the current champion with winnings of $30,050 all in cash.
The match will now be a best 2 game out of 3 affair. Each game won is worth $1,000.
The Any 21 Jackpot will be staked at $5,000 and grow by $500 per game until it is won.
At the Gambit Board, the Any 21 Jackpot will begin at $10,000 and grow by $2,500 until won.
After I ask a toss-up question, I will then have the players submit buzz codes and answers to me.
There is one other new thing I will be adding for the Gambit Board portion of the show, but I'll mention that when we play it.
Lastly, episodes will no longer necessarily be self-contained so an episode could end in the middle of a game, or a match, but never during the middle of a Gambit Board.
Who would like to compete against Kevin?

Frank Caliendo (as Kenny Williams): And now, from the Bob Barker Studio at CBS Television City in Hollywood, here's your Master of Ceremonies for this evening… Frank Caliendo (as Kenny Williams): Bill McDee! That's me! Thank you very much ladies and gentlemen for that warm welcome, and thank you for welcoming us into your homes, or from where ever and whatever you may be watching us from. This is the night time edition of Gambit, the original game show of Blackjack with a brain, and big payoffs. On last evening's program, we crowned a new champion to kick off this new season of Gambit P.M. We have a new challenger to take him on as well, but before we meet them, let us first meet our new dealer here on Gambit P.M. We searched far and wide, well not too far actually, right here in the very catacombs of CBS, and I am very pleased to announce that our dealer for Gambit P.M. is none other than "The Price is Right's" very own Manuela Arbelaez! (applause) Good evening Manuela! Manuela: Good evening Bill, I am very pleased to be here helping out, and I promise, I won't reveal any cards prematurely! (Chuckling in the audience) Manuela, you became quite the youtube sensation when that mishap occurred during the Five Price Tags game. But I'm not at all worried about you revealing anything prematurely, however, I would like you at this time to head over to the cards, and reveal the names of our first two contestants. picosong.com/q789/Manuela: Glad to do so Bill. First, a supermarket clerk who is also involved in Special Olympics, from the great Hawkeye state of Iowa, say hello to Matt Ringgenberg! (applause) Manuela: And our current champion, an accountant from New York, his one game winnings in all cash come to $30,050! Manuela: Kevin Kolsen! (applause) Manuela: Gentlemen, good evening and good luck. Kevin, welcome back to Gambit P.M. Just a smidge over $30,000 in winnings, all cash. You have to feel pretty good about that I'd imagine. What else would you like for us and our viewing audience to know about you?

I bet you say that to all the hosts who help you win over $30,000 In all seriousness, thank you for the kind words Kevin, and good luck this evening. And equal good luck to you Matt Ringgenberg, from Council Bluffs, Iowa, a supermarket clerk and also involved in Special Olympics. What else should we know about you Matt?

Would you believe for as many years as it has been on television, I have never seen a single episode of "The Simpsons"? I have however seen Peanuts many times, especially during my youth. I don't know if any Peanuts questions will come up, but one thing is for certain, you won't be playing for peanuts! Good luck to you Matt. Manuela has a brand new freshly shuffled deck of 52 playing cards. Manuela, please break the seal on that deck, and we'll ask Matt to cut the cards. Matt, please select a number higher than 0, but lower than 52. This will be how deep into the deck we cut the cards. And while we await Matt to do that, I'll remind our players we play the best 2 out of 3 game match, each game is worth $1,000 in cash, but if you score 21, you'll be an instant winner and will also receive the Any 21 Jackpot, which currently is worth... (CLANG) An additional FIVE-THOUSAND dollars in cash! It grows by $500 per game until it is won. And the winner of the match will face off against our Gambit Board for a chance at some bigger cash prizes and other merchandise prizes as well.

Alright Manuela, Matt wants to keep this card and is hoping for a nine I would suppose. Please reveal the card, now... (Audience yells "WHOA!!!") Now, if only I could have that kind of intuition when selecting PowerBall numbers. Matt, you're in a very nice position, for if you receive another card and it's either a ten or a picture card, you'll win game 1 of this best 2 out of 3 match, $1,000 plus the $5,000 Any 21 Jackpot. Very important question coming up here players. You have until 7am EST on Monday, June 20th to submit to me via private message your buzz codes and your answer to this: John Ritter, Joyce DeWitt or Suzanne Somers Which star of the 1970s hit situation comedy "Three's Company" left the show permanently after some behind the scenes disputes?

picosong.com/g3fZ/Matt? Matt's answer - "John Ritter" Oh no! picosong.com/fTwB/John remained with the show throughout its entire run. It was Suzanne Somers who left the show. Kevin, that of course means you control the fate of the next card. You have 5, Matt has 11. Kevin, do you want to keep this next card or give it away?

Buzz codes and answers due to this next question no later than 10:30am EST on Tuesday, June 21st. True or False Albert Einstein is the originator of the big bang theory.

picosong.com/g3fZ/Kevin? Kevin's answer - "False". That is correct! (applause) The man credited for the Big Bang Theory is Dr. Sheldon Cooper. (laughter) No, for those of you keeping score at home, the answer is, in reality, Georges Lemaître. Speaking of scores, Matt has 11 and you Kevin have 10 plus control of the next card. Keep it or give it away Kevin?

Kevin elects to keep the card, and he is of course hoping now for a big Ace. Manuela, what do you have for him? (Audience) - Whoa!!! A big old Jack! Kevin, you have the option to freeze at this point if you wish. If you do so, Matt will have to get 21 to win.

Indeed, otherwise you'd more than likely go over Kevin. Matt, this means you need to get 21 to win. 20 would tie, and there are no ties in Gambit. To continue earning cards, you must come up with correct answers. One incorrect answer or one missed deadline and Kevin wins game #1. Matt, here's your first question... You are eating escargot. Are you eating seafood, a vegetable or a snail?
