Time to start Game 2 of our match. And we re-stake the Any 21 Jackpot with another... (CLANG) $5,000 since Matt won the first game of the match with a 21 exactly, and has $6,000, his to keep no matter what. Let's see if Kevin can tie up this match. Manuela, please reveal the first card for this second game. Remember, we're using the same deck of 52 cards players. For a 6... Go To Jail, Free Parking, or In Jail. Which corner is diagonally opposite the square marked "Go" on a standard American Monopoly game board? Please submit your answers and buzz codes to me via private message no later than Monday, June 27th at 5:30pm EST.

picosong.com/g3fZ/Matt? Matt says - "True." picosong.com/fTwB/No! Believe it or not, Kangaroos are unable to hop backward, according to our research, which incidentally, many of the questions asked on Gambit PM come from the World Book Encyclopedia and Reference Guide. Kevin, by default, you control the fate of that next card. Do you want to keep it or give it away?

picosong.com/g3fZ/Matt? Matt says "X". And that is... RIGHT! Manuela is holding the next card. Matt, do you wish to keep that card or give it away?

I'll Freeze!!

Post by billmcdee on Jul 5, 2016 16:06:02 GMT -5
Freezing right there. Kevin, as you know, there are no ties in this game. You will need to earn at least two more cards, so I will ask you two questions at this time. While there is a 48 hour deadline, since two questions are being asked instead of just one, I will extend the deadline for you if you require me to do so. One incorrect answer, and Matt will win the game and the match. Question number 1: His name was Frederick William Herschel. Was his claim to fame inventing the weathervane, creating the library's decimal system or the discovery of the planet Uranus? Question number 2: The Santa Maria, the Mayflower or the Pinta. Which of these famous ships was not part of Christopher Columbus' fleet?

1. Discovering Uranus.
2. The Mayflower.

Correct on both, well done Kevin. Let's see if you can beat a 17 without going over 21... Manuela, the first card please... A four, giving you 10. That's a nice position to be in. Maneula, what card is next? (gasps & groans from the audience) Wow. Kevin, one more question you must answer, and then hope the next card is not higher than a 4, otherwise, Matt will wear the Gambit PM championship crown. Question... Traditionally in the United States, is Father's Day celebrated during the second Sunday in June or the third Sunday in June?

Indeed it is! (applause) Manuela, Kevin needs a 4 or less. Anything else, and Matt takes this game and the match... picosong.com/fTwB/Too much! And the match goes to Matt Ringgenberg!!! picosong.com/3zeF/Another $1,000 for that game, and Matt, you have winnings thus far, all cash of $7,000. In a moment, you'll be Gambit Board bound. Kevin, as Frank said at the top of the show, all the rest was indeed in the cards. You most assuredly had the knowledge. For coming to play our game, we have $500 in cash and other nice parting gifts as well! A nice round of applause for Kevin Kolsen! (applause & cheering) After a quick time out, Matt will face our Gambit Board for a chance at a lot more loot! Stay tuned!

(((Who would like to challenge Matt for his second match? First to say so on this thread will get to do so)))... (Fading in from black, Kevin is still at his seat) (standing beside Kevin) Before we play Matt's Gambit Board, I have a little business to clear up here. Kevin, I have good news and bad news. The bad news is, the $500 consolation prize you do not receive, as you already won $30,050 in cash. But since I made that error, what the producers and I decided is to give you this $500 gift card which is redeemable for a membership at your local Gold's Gym. And of course you still get the parting gifts which Frank will tell us about at the end of today's show. Once again, leaving us with over $30,000 in cash, outgoing champion Kevin Kolsen! (applause & cheers) Now Matt, onto the Gambit Board! picosong.com/fT3K/Frank Caliendo (as Kenny Williams): On the Gambit Board, twenty-one in any combination wins this, our jackpot now worth $10,000... Plus if you pick the right number, 21 in any combination will also win for you this new car! Make the most of every opportunity that comes your way with the 2016 Buick Encore. Fold-flat second-row seats help create more cargo space when you need it. Soft-touch materials make the interior as luxurious as it is flexible. And because you’re not always by yourself, available dual-zone climate controls help everyone feel comfortable. With the Encore, you can be ready to go at a moment’s notice. $27,585 Lots and lots of cash and other valuable prizes hidden up on our big Gambit Board for you to possibly win Matt. Manuela, please break the seal on a new freshly shuffled deck of 54 playing cards... We have added a couple of Jokers to our deck Matt. If a Joker turns up in this game, that simply means you get to make another pick at the Gambit Board immediately, without having to add a card to your hand. The Jokers will also be used in match play from now on as well, and I'll explain how that will work when we begin our next match. Meantime Matt, please select a number higher than zero, but lower than 54. This will represent how deep into the deck you wish to cut the cards. Then I will ask you at this time to also select a number higher than zero but lower than 22 on our Gambit Board to reveal your first prize card.

And what is lurking behind 15? (DING) $2,500 in cash! (applause) And there's a heart with it, so any time you draw a card that is a heart, as long as you do not go over 21, we'll give you another $2,500 in cash as well. Manuela, what is Matt's first card? (audience): WHOA!!!!!!!! (cheering & applauding) Wow, not only is it an Ace, but it's the Ace of HEARTS!!! See if you can find that CAR card Matt! What number next?

Staying on the bottom row... (DING) It's a half a check! Matt, there's one other half check that looks like that on the board. There are also two front halves as well, one with $5, and the other with $20,. You are not required to draw another card at this time since that's only one half of a check, so select another number please.

Number 9... (DING) Another $2,500 suit card! (applause) You have $7,500 already, and will earn another $2,500 if this next card is either a heart or a spade. Manuela? Matt, may I suggest you select again? The next card you draw cannot put you over, thanks to that ace you drew earlier.

Number 4 it is... (DING) Beat the Dealer! (applause) If you do not go over 21 here at the Gambit Board Matt, you will play one hand of regulation Blackjack against Manuela for a chance at another $5,000 in cash. Is the next card a heart or a spade? A JOKER!!! (cheering & applause) Matt, you get to pick yet again!
