It is amazing how many times in a row now this has happened, but that is yet another letter given away that is in the puzzle! There is one K towards the end of the second word here...  (ding) Matt, for a total of $7,500 and the win, can you tell me a saying about certain ex-football players?

After all those letters given away that were in the puzzle, once again it's that one letter that is key and Matt completes the stunning come-from-behind victory and is our inaugural Definition champion!! Definition Theme Song(fade in with applause) Welcome back to Definition! I am here with our champion Matt Ringgenberg who just completed that dramatic $6,700 win and he now has a chance to add a bunch of money to that total. Matt, we have one final definition for you to solve and it initially is going to be worth $27,000 if you can solve it immediately. In this Bonus Round, there are no letters to give or take, we will simply start lighting up letters one at a time, with the puzzle value decreasing by $1,000 with each illuminated letter. You simply jump in at any time and solve the puzzle, but be careful because you are limited to only two guesses at it. Two wrong guesses equals game over and no bonus money. We'll reveal one letter every 12 hours (approximately) until you've either guessed it correctly (in which case, you'll win the value of the puzzle at that time) or until you've guessed twice incorrectly. We'll begin shortly with the initial blank board, but for now, Dave will tease you with the definition itself. (announcer Dave Devall) Definition: Why the shoemaker's shop downsized.
