Alright, let's do that! 44 it is and behind 44 we discover... (ding) ...another number with an asterisk! So, same deal for you, Kori. You can stay on 40 cents and be the runner-up or can you make up to 3 more selections, with the next selection either being added to 40 cents or replacing 40 cents.
Whaddaya say, sir?

I like what I saw with 44, so let's go over to 33.

Kori heads diagonally northwest up to number 33 and that result in... (ding) ...a dime. So, your score can either be 50 cents or a dime and you have 2 more selections to play with.
What next, Kori?

Let's keep going and jump right over the implied choice to #11.

Okay, but before we do, you must decide what your current score is -- 50 cents or a dime?

Ah, let's actually make my score... the dime.

A dime it is and up to number 11 we go and there we find... (ding) ...well, can you believe that! That's a bummer, Kori! You'd have had the lead with 90 cents, but as a result of taking the dime, you're now at 50 cents! So, your choices now are stay on 50 cents as the runner-up or use your one remaining selection and perhaps get closer to that dollar. Don't forget though that there are 5 negative numbers somewhere on that board.
What's your pleasure?

Kori heads over to the other side of the board, hoping to find one of those two 50 cent spaces and win himself $10,000! Let's see what we find behind number 39... (ding) ...well, would you look at that! We have a tie, folks! (ding) So what this means is that we are headed for a playoff of some sort. It'll either be for the lead or for the runner-up position, depending on what Raymond does. Raymond, you have no choice now but to try and get within 20 cents of a dollar however you can. If you don't, you'll be out of the game and the playoff will be to decide whether Matt or Kori ends up as the winner with the other one ending up as the runner-up. If you do, then you'll be the winner Raymond and the playoff will be to decide whether Matt or Kori ends up as the runner-up with the other one out of the game. Suddenly, I need another drink. Kori, here's the rest of your board. You skipped over 22, I'm curious what was there... (ding) Oh boy, #22 was the biggest negative number on the board! Good thing you hopped over that sucker!! Alright, let's set things up for Raymond, please. (ding) Raymond, have at it!

Raymond starts with the 3rd row, 8th column and by choosing that, he earns himself... (ding) ...70 cents. That might not be a bad score on another day, but today, that's not enough. You need a total score of 85 cents to $1.15 in order to take over the lead. At the very least, you need to wind up with 80 cents or $1.20, in which case we'll have a 3-way playoff.
You have 2 more selections remaining, Raymond. Where to next?

Raymond selects number 5 as his second choice and there he reveals... (ding) ...the other 70 cents! Well, at least in this game, you're still in it, Raymond. You have $1.40 now, which is obviously too much, so on this next choice, you need either a negative number or one of the numbers with an asterisk. Good luck, sir! Which number are you selecting this time?

Raymond tries number 45, hoping for something to reduce his total and behind that number, we discover... (ding) ...another 30 cents. It wasn't meant to be unfortunately, Raymond. Let's have a look at your board and see what numbers would have helped you. (ding) Well, number 10 would have won it for you outright. Number 23 would have been interesting -- that would've put you into a 3-way tie, but with the asterisk, you could've picked again and might have won it with a second consecutive negative number. Raymond, I'm sorry it didn't work out, but you've won some nice prizes and I thank you for being on the All-New Price is Right! So, we've established that Matt and Kori are going to be the 3rd and 4th participants in our Endgame, but we need a distinct Playdown winner and runner-up, so each of you will have one selection with whomever is closest to $1.00 being the winner. Previous rules still apply, so if you find an asterisk, you get another selection if you want it and if you get $1.00 exactly, you still get $10,000 and you still get a bonus selection. Let's reset the board for the playoff, please. (ding) Matt will choose first in the playoff. Go for it Matt and good luck!

Matt goes with number 14 for his one playoff selection and that nets him... (ding) ...55 cents. Let's look at your uncovered board Matt. (ding) Oh man, you were right next to the dollar! Lucky 13 and you'd have had it! Alright, so Matt is our current leader... (ding) Kori, you need 60 cents or better to win the second Endgame Playdown. Let's get the board set for Kori, will you please? (ding) Kori, a number if you please, sir.

Kori wants #2, so we'll give him #2! What's behind #2, please? (ding) Ouch. That's what's behind #2. You managed to skip over that number earlier Kori, but it got you this time. Let's see the rest of Kori's board, please. (ding) Wow, #2 and #1 were both ouch! #21 and #45 had the dollars this time. So, it is Matt who wins the second Endgame Playdown... (ding) ...and it is Kori who owes me three games of pinball at the arcade.
We now have our 4 finalists and we are just about ready for our Endgame. The playing order for the Endgame is as follows:
#1: Endgame Playdown Winner with the most prize money (Greg) #2: Endgame Playdown Winner with the second-most prize money (Matt) #3: Endgame Runner-Up with the most prize money (Kourtney) #4: Endgame Runner-Up with the second-most prize money (Kori)
Gentlemen, we will see the four of you in our Endgame which we'll have immediately upon the conclusion of this... (Note: I am upgrading to Windows 10 this evening, so this could be RIP time!)

(fade in with applause) Welcome back to the All-New Price is Right! I am here with our 4 finalists and we are set to play our Endgame! Greg will start us off in a moment. He won the first Endgame Playdown and, since he's also the top winner on our show today, he has the privilege of going first, which may or may not give him an advantage. Matt won the second Endgame Playdown, so he goes second. Kourtney and Kori were the runner-ups in their Playdowns and since Kourtney has a slight edge in prize winnings, he goes third. You'll notice on our podium that there's a bidding range. Whichever one of you wins the Endgame and bids on today's fabulous Showcase, the amount listed on your podium is how close you'll have to come to the actual retail price of your Showcase to win it! Again, a slight advantage for Greg being in the top position, with the range reducing as we go from 1st to 4th. Now, let's take a look at our Endgame board... (ding) As you can see, it initially looks similar to the Playdown board, but the values behind the numbers are quite different. Let's reveal this entire board, please. (ding) We have 4 different symbols on our Endgame board. The green dollar signs are what you're shooting for as they are each worth $1.00 added to your score. The purple half symbols aren't bad either, they're worth half a dollar added to your score. The orange negative dollar signs aren't your friends, they take a dollar away from your score, although unlike the Playdown, you can't have a negative score here. Finally, we have those two red Xs -- avoid them at all costs -- find one of those and you are immediately eliminated from the Endgame. The object of the game? Be the first contestant to score at least $3.00. It's as simple as that. The first person to do that wins the Endgame and gets to bid on today's Showcase. What happens if nobody scores $3? Well, that's our equivalent of a "double overbid" -- nobody bids on the Showcase if that happens. The odds are against it happening, but it is possible. Each person can make no more than 2 selections off the board per turn, but to earn that second selection, you must find a green dollar sign on your first choice, meaning it is possible to score $2.00 in one turn. This is why the person in the #1 position (Greg in this case) has the advantage. If Greg scores $2 on his first turn, he will have the first chance to win the Endgame if he can find a third green dollar sign on his second turn. There is a bit of strategy here as well in that, if you prefer based on the situation, you can pass on taking your second selection if you've earned one. For example, if you have a big lead over the other contestants and those two elimination Xs and/or negative dollars are still in play, you could opt to pass your second turn and put more pressure on your opponent. This option may or may not help you along the way -- you can choose to use it or not if you've earned a second selection -- basically, it's there if you want it. I think we're ready to go. Good luck, gents! Let's reset our Endgame board and shuffle those symbols around, please. (ding) Greg, unless you have a question, start us off if you would, sir.

We're off and running with our first Endgame with Greg taking the number 7. He's looking for a green dollar sign. Has he found one? (ding ding ding ding) He has indeed! Greg takes the early lead! (ding) You can make one more selection on this turn Greg or pass on that selection and it'll be Matt's turn to pick. Which would you like?

Greg sings his way to his next pick...hoping for a second consecutive dollar sign and big lead to start the game....has he got it!?! (ding ding ding ding ding ding ding ding ding ding ding) He does indeed! (ding) Greg can now win the Endgame on his next turn!
Matt, you're up! There are still 7 dollar signs up there on the board somewhere. Where is one of them?

Matt gets his first turn underway, takes number 3 off the board and behind there, we discover... (ding ding ding ding) ...a dollar sign! (ding) Matt begins with a dollar as well. Choose again Matt or is it Kourtney's turn?

Matt continues on, takes number 8 and finds... (ding ding ding ding ding ding ding ding ding) ...another dollar sign! (ding) So early on here, it's Greg and Matt tied for the lead and both of them are just a green dollar sign away from bidding on the Showcase!
Kourtney, there are still 5 dollar signs up there somewhere! Where to, sir?
