Excitement is abound in the studio as thousands of dollars are up for grabs and one of our contestants might walk away with more than $250,000 in cash and prizes! Who will be our first contestant tonight? We'll find out shortly as we play... And now, heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeere's your host...Glllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllen Brown! (mucho applauso) Thank you very much and welcome to the premiere of the All-New Price is Right here on NGC! I would also like to thank our beloved announcer for that wonderful introduction, the man who has returned to his rightful podium, Mr. Rich Fields! (audience cheers and gives Rich and standing O) Rich: Thanks Glen, it's wonderful to be back! It's wonderful to have you back, Rich and it's a pleasure to have all of you joining us as well! We have some exciting things planned, including some never-before-seen pricing games and a payoff at the end of the show that might have one of our players today winning over a quarter of a million dollars! (oooooo says the audience) It all begins with our "Green Means Go" bidding game. In a moment, we'll show you our first item up for bids and then open bidding on that item will begin. All of you on NGC are welcome to place a bid! Once we receive a bid, please wait for the traffic light result before bidding again. A red light means that the last bid was more than $500 away (high or low) from the retail price of the item. A yellow light means that the last bid was between $100 and $500 away (again, high or low) from the retail price. A green light means the last bid was within $100 of the retail price and the person who bid that wins the item and joins me for our first pricing game! So, let's play the All-New Price is Right, shall we?! Here comes the lovely Lorraine with our first item up for bids! Rich: It's a pair of Go Pro cameras! (audience applauds) Rich: HERO4 Black takes Emmy® Award-winning GoPro performance to the next level with our best image quality yet, plus a 2x more powerful processor that delivers super slow motion at 240 frames per second. Incredible high-resolution 4K30 and 2.7K60 video combines with 1080p120 and 720p240 slow motion to enable stunning, immersive footage of you and your world. Protune™ settings for both photos and video unlock manual control of Color, ISO Limit, Exposure and more. Waterproof to 131’ (40m) with 12MP photos at 30 frames per second and improved audio, HERO4 Black is the ultimate life-capture solution for those who demand the best. Now you can jump off mountains and crap your pants in stunning 4K resolution! Thanks Rich and yeah, that's pretty much what would happen to me if I leaped off a mountain with those things! Alrighty folks, the bidding is now open on these beautiful cameras. Remember, once a bid is in, wait for the traffic light before submitting another bid. Who would like to bid first?

Our first bid comes from Matt Ringgenberg and his $800 bid results in... A yellow light! That bid is somewhere between $100 and $500 from the actual retail price. Next bid, please. The bids are still open to everyone, including another bid from Matt if he so chooses.

Our second bid is a $1,000 bid from Greg Palmer and that... (CLANG CLANG CLANG CLANG CLANG) ...well, that broke our traffic light, that's what that did, which can only mean one thing, Greg! YOU'VE WON A $1,000 BONUS FOR A PERFECT BID!! Nice bidding, sir! Let's play a pricing game, shall we? Matt, I'm afraid he beat you to it that time, but we've got 5 more items to bid on coming up in a little bit! Greg, c'mon up here and tell us about yourself, will you please? Are you the outdoorsy type? Will you be flying off cliffs with your new cameras?

Am I the outdoorsy type? No, not really. But I do know someone who will be able to put this to good use.

Well, that's great...you'll make someone happy giving those cameras as a gift. Rich, I wonder, do we have anything else back there that our friend Greg here might put to good use? Rich: Well, let's see, um, oh yes, I'd imagine Greg could use A NEW CAR!!!!!!!!!!!!
(the audience cheers and whistles) Rich: Oh Greg, whether you’re wringing it out or just cruising, the 228i is great to sit in, with a superb driving position and a relatively low, level beltline that enhances the open-air aspect and keeps you from feeling buried in the car. While its 1.2-inch-longer wheelbase, 2.5 inches of additional length, and extra inch of width help the 2-series avoid the aura of cutesiness that hung over the stubby-looking 1-series, this still is a compact car that’s easy to position and maneuver. It comes with an 8-speed automatic transmission with manual shifting mode and a 16-valve turbocharged and intercooled DOHC engine. It's the fabulous 2015 BMW 228i Convertible! Greg, you've got a shot at a Beamer here! I can picture you whipping around the streets in that baby while your friend films footage with one of those cameras that you won! You can win that gorgeous car in our first pricing game of the day... To win yourself that Beamer, here's what you need to do Greg. As you can see, we have 7 different numbers listed at the bottom of our board and, going from left to right, we have 5 gray steps on our board. I need you to place 5 of those 7 numbers on those steps, representing what you believe to be the price of that car, but you must place them in a specific way. Going from left to right, the number you place on the second step must be higher than the number you placed on the first step. The same thing for the third step (the one at the very top), it must be higher than the number you placed on the second step. Now that we've gone up, we must come down, so the number you place on the fourth step must be lower than the number you placed on the third step and finally, the number you place on the fifth step must be lower than the number you placed on the fourth step.
Now, I'm going to give you one chance to win the car for free and give you an opportunity to earn 2 more chances and win a couple of prizes along with those chances. Before we do that though, I want to make sure you understand the game. Do you have any questions before we proceed?

So you don't necessarily want me to guess the price of the car, you just want me to put the digits that are in the car in ascending, then descending order. Right?

Well, it's both really. I do want the numbers in ascending and then descending order, but once you've placed the 5 of them there, when you read it from left to right, it should be the 5 digits that you believe make up the price of the car. Let's see how many chances you'll get. As I said, you have 1 freebie and a chance at 2 more and 2 prizes as well. Mr. Fields, if you please, sir. Rich: Right, Glen. The Guardian Anti-Bark Collar helps you control your dog's excessive barking behavior to give you and your neighbors a break. The collar "feels" and "hears" your dog's bark and gives a static correction as a behavior reminder to stop barking. The correction level increases safely and gradually if your pet continues to bark. With the Guardian Anti-Bark Collar your pet will soon learn his new talking rules and break his bad barking behavior in no time. It works great on the girlfriend, too!
Hmm, I might need to get me one of those!! Now Greg, for our mini-game, you have to decide whether the up price or the down price is the price of that dog collar. If it's the up price, it would mean the collar is $34 while the down price would be $48. To win the collar and another chance at the car, which one is right?

Greg says that collar is $34. The lovely Lana will now show us the right price! (ding ding ding ding ding)
You got it, Greg! So, you'll have 2 cracks at that car, let's make it 3 using this prize... Rich: Power up your shower with the enhanced strength of a Waterpik Shower Massage 8-Mode Showerhead With Hose. It is designed to create an invigorating and uplifting experience. The eight spray settings and the 5' hose makes it easy to position it. The anti-clog nozzles of the Waterpik showerhead help to ensure that mineral deposits don't build up preventing a decline in performance. Add this to make an ideal update to your bathroom. The stylish chrome showerhead doesn't require any special tools and installs in minutes. Add a garbage disposal and you can prepare meals while you shower just like Cosmo Kramer!
Definitely one of the funniest episodes of Seinfeld -- when Kramer turns on that power shower, falls and rips the shower curtain -- funny stuff!
Greg, same deal here, up price is $27, down price is $75, what sayest thee?

We kicked things off with a perfect bid thanks to you, now let's continue with a win in our very first pricing game!! Chance numero uno, Greg. Let's win that Beamer!!

Alright, so Greg has given us a price of $45,830 for that beautiful Beamer, so let's light that up please. (ding) Now, the all-important question...is that the right price? (buzzzzzzzzzzz) No, that's not it Greg, but we're going to give you some help before you make your next guess. If there are any numbers that are sitting on the right step, please highlight them. (ding) Okay, so the price ends in a zero, no real surprise there. Now, if any of the other numbers on the stairs do NOT belong in the price, please highlight them. (ding) Ohhh, interesting. So this means that either the 2 or the 9 belongs somewhere in the price.
So Greg, your second and final guess needs to end in a zero, it needs to have the 3, 5 and 8 all on different steps and it needs to not have a 4 in it. Cogitate on that for a moment or two and then please tell me the price of that convertible!

$58,930 is Greg's last guess... (ding) Has Greg done it? Are those numbers in the correct place? Has he won himself a new convertible? Let's find out! $58,930....is.....that....right? (bzzzzzzzzzzzz/Losing Horns) (audience aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahs) Oh Greg, no that's not right! I so wanted to give you that beautiful car!! I'm sorry! Let's find out, light up the right numbers, will you please? Oh my!! You had the 3 and the 5 reversed!! If you'd only won that darn shower head, this would have been an easy win on your 3rd turn! #darnshowerhead
Well, as my Dad used to say, always look at the positive side of things. You've won a total of $2,034 in cash and prizes thus far, including that great dog collar and you'll also be back shortly for our first ever Endgame Playdown so stick around for that! I'm sorry it didn't work out Greg, but I hope you had fun playing Ups & Downs.

Whoa whoa whoa..... I should win this. All the digits that were in the car are in the order you specified (ascending then descending). You never said they had to be in a predetermined order.

Well, I'm sorry you feel that way Greg, but this is what I said in the original description:
"I need you to place 5 of those 7 numbers on those steps, representing what you believe to be the price of that car, but you must place them in a specific way..."
It wouldn't be much of a game if you could put any numbers ascending to descending and win, would it? The point was to guess the price of the car. I apologize if that wasn't clear.
We have another game almost ready to go and it'll go, after we find out about this...

You never told me to put them in the specific order of the price. It could have been worded much clearer than the way you worded it, and therefore, I think I deserve the car.

I agree with Iggy there -- I might have to go get me some cold cuts! Mr. Fields, I believe it's time we show everyone what we're bidding on this time around! What is it? Rich: Mr. Brown, it's this Granite Firepit with Decorative Wicker Base! Now you can have a beautiful accessory for your patio or lawn with the LP Granite Firepit with Decorative Wicker Base. The top of this piece features a handsome granite mantel that adds charm to the table. The patio firepit runs off propane, and it is easy and convenient to use. The mantel is equipped with a porcelain steel bowl to hold logs. This propane firepit table includes lava rocks and logs for a realistic look, and it also has wicker panel sides that lend it an elegant and stylish look. It also toasts marshmallows!
Thanks, Rich. Hmm, cold cuts for dinner and marshmallows by the fire for desert! Sounds good to me!
The bidding is now open on this item for everyone, except Greg of course as you can only win one one-bid per episode. Remember, wait for the traffic light before bidding again. Step right up and place your bids, folks!

Matt is first in with a bid again and that $1,500 bid produces... ...our first red light bid. That bid was either more than $500 higher or more than $500 lower than the actual retail price of the firepit.
Next bid, please.

Jessica like totally bid $550 again and I was like whatever and like let's see like what the traffic light like looks like... A yellow light this time. Jessica's bid is somewhere between $100 and $500 away from the retail price of that firepit. Just to clarify how this works, after the item up for bids is shown, one person bids, then we show a traffic light, then another person (or the same person from the previous bid) bids, then we show another traffic light, and so on until someone's bid results in a green light. So, if someone has already bid, please wait until the next traffic light result before anyone bids again. When I said step right up folks and bid, I realize some might have thought I meant everyone can bid at the same time. My bad... it's one bid at a time. In the event that two or more people bid at the same time, the first post that is recorded is the official bid and the rest are discarded. Alrighty then...next bid, please.
