Jessica pushes that big red button again, our second lottery number rolls down the shoot and we discover it to be... ...A MATCH!!! (CLANG CLANG CLANG CLANG CLANG CLANG CLANG CLANG CLANG CLANG) Jessica has just picked up a quick ten grand!! (CLANG CLANG CLANG CLANG CLANG CLANG CLANG CLANG CLANG CLANG) Now you have a decision to make before you push that button again, Jessica. You've won $10,000 but there are 2 more numbers to be drawn and the potential for you to wind up with as much as $50,000 is still a possibility. On the other hand, there are also two GAME OVER balls in that machine and if either of those are drawn, not only is it game over, it's bye bye ten grand.
You can take your money and run or push that button again and draw the 3rd number. What do you want to do, Jessica?

Jessica goes for it...she's putting $10,000 on the line...the trap door opens...the green ball rolls down the chute...this time around, it's... ...a three! Oh Jessica, you missed your lucky number by just 1! Okay, let's put this number up on the board, please... (ding) So it comes down to this, Jessica. You could still win either $20,000 with a DOUBLE YOUR MONEY ball or $25,000 if you match another number, but again I caution, you could end up with nada if one of those GAME OVER balls finds its way down that chute next.
You're holding the controller...either push that button and draw the final lottery number or hand it back to me now and you're $10,000 richer.
What's your pleasure?

Jessica says it's worth the go...she throws caution to the wind...pushes that button one last time...there's the trap door opening...and out comes... ...a sixteen! Well, no match there either Jessica, but at least it wasn't a GAME OVER and you've won $10,000 which is not bad at all and any match in this game in considered a win! So, here's our final game board... (ding) ...and I hope you enjoyed playing The Lottery Game, Jessica! For you behind-the-scenes kind of folks out there, I used an Excel spreadsheet to determine the numbers and here's all 24 of them sorted by the random number: Hey folks, we've had a pretty good first half of the All-New Price is Right! We've had 2 winners in a row and 3 out of 3 if we count my ineptness at explaining Ups & Downs as a technical win, so it's been a good show so far, I think! Lots more excitement ahead as Jessica, Kourtney and Greg will be back shortly to participate in our first-ever Endgame Playdown where 2 of them will advance to the Endgame and where all 3 of them might win $100,000 each!! We'll have that right after we have this...

(audience casually applauding)
Rich: If you have an idea for a pricing game that you'd like to see here on the All-New Price is Right or if you are graphically talented and would be interested in designing sets for any of the existing games, we would love to hear from you! Just send us a PM here at the show and if you're sending a pricing game idea, please be as detailed as possible, including what you would recommend as the prize that should be awarded. Who knows, we may be playing one of your games on a future episode!
We'll be back right after this with more of the All-New Price is Right!

Welcome back to the All-New Price is Right! I'm here with our three contestants from the first half of the show and we are getting ready for... ...our first Endgame Playdown! This works much like the regular show's Big Wheel, but with some differences. The first difference, as you may have noticed by now, is that "without going over" isn't in our vocabulary on this show. We are looking for the closest regardless if it's high or low. The same rule applies here. The purpose of the Endgame Playdown is to determine which 2 of our 3 contestants will qualify for the 4-Player Endgame at the end of our show, the winner of which will get to bid on our fabulous Showcase! It will be the 2 players who come closest to $1.00 using selections off our game board. This means that scores over $1.00 aren't necessarily a bad thing and in fact, may end up as the winning score. Here's an example: Let's say Kourtney scores 80 cents and Jessica scores $1.05 -- this would make Jessica the leader and Kourtney the runner-up, since Jessica is only a nickel away from a dollar whereas Kourtney is 20 cents away. Each of you may take up to 3 selections off the board with the understanding that each selection you make is added to the previous selection, similar to the two spins on the Big Wheel. There are some special exceptions on our board though, so let's reveal the whole thing right now so you can take a look... (ding)
As you can see, there are two unique aspects to our board. One is that there are negative numbers up there, which you can try for if you find yourself with a score too far over $1.00 to at least be the runner-up. The second aspect are the values that have an asterisk next to them. This awards you an extra selection which you can either add to your score or use as a complete replacement for your score. More on this as we go along. Of course, we have a chance at some big money bonuses on our board just like the Big Wheel. If you score exactly $1.00 in one selection or a combination of multiple selections, you win $10,000 and receive a bonus selection. In your bonus selection, if you choose one of the 4 green values, you win $40,000 more for a total of $50,000! If you pick one of the 2 red values in your bonus selection, you win $90,000 more for a total of $100,000!! The last thing to note is that in case of a tie for either the lead or the runner-up position, the players tied will go to a one-selection playoff with the score closest to $1.00 breaking the tie. If that selection is an asterisk however, the same rule applies and that player gets a second selection that can either be added to his/her score or be a replacement for his/her score. I know that was a lot of information to take in. I just wanted to spell everything out ahead of time, but I'll explain it again for each person as we go along. Greg is the top winner thus far on our show. He's won a pair of Go Pro cameras, $1,000 for a perfect bid, a bark-controlling dog collar and a convertible BMW for a total of $40,984 in cash and prizes. Greg will choose his selections last, giving him a slight advantage. Jessica, our model from New England, is the runner-up so far, having won a laser printer and $10,000 in our lottery game for a total of $10,380. She will go second. Leading us off will be Kourtney who was won a granite firepit and a home gym totalling $3,282. Best of luck to all 3 of you! Let's reset and shuffle the board, please. (ding)
Kourtney, if you would please, choose a number and let's start the first Endgame Playdown!

Kourtney starts us off with number 19 (was your birthday 3 days ago? If so, Happy Belated Birthday!) and when we flip over that number, we find... (ding) ...a quarter. So, you can stay on a quarter and hope that's enough to at least get you the runner-up position or you can take your next selection and add that to the quarter. What do you say, Kourtney?

Kourtney goes with the top-left corner this time...number 1...and that is worth... (ding) ...ninety cents more, for a total of $1.15! So right off the bat, we see how our game differs from the Big Wheel. Now, I don't know how brave you are, but as you saw earlier, there are some negative numbers on there, so you could be bold and try for one of those to get even closer to $1, but any positive score you got would of course take you further away from $1. So, you can use your 3rd selection if you want or stay on $1.15. What do you think, Kourtney?

That's probably a wise move as the odds were against you finding one of those negative numbers. So Kourtney's the leader with a dollar and fifteen cents... (ding) ...and Kourtney, here's a look at the rest of your board so that out of curiosity, we can see where those negatives were... (ding) ...number 3 would've brought you to within a nickel, but as it stands, you're only 15 cents from the dollar, so that's a great score. Okay, we'll reset the board... (ding) ...and ask our friend from Rhode Island to make her first selection, please.

I think I'll take like, #30, but not like any real reason behind that.

For no apparent reason, Jessica takes #30 for her first of up to 3 selections and what do we find behind that number? We find... (ding) ...15 cents. Now, since the runner-up position is currently vacant, you could stay on 15 cents if you like and you'd be the runner-up or you can pick again and whatever you get next, we'll add to your 15 cents. What sayest thee, fair maiden?

Jessica backs up a few spaces in that same row, goes with number 23 this time and for that she gets... (ding) ...a quarter. So, you're up to 40 cents now Jessica and you do have one selection remaining available to you if you want to use it. Select again or stay, whaddaya say?

Up a row to number 15 we go and this time, Jessica uncovers... (ding) ...not a good number. Jessica! What a time to find that!! Well, finish it off you did indeed and you are the runner-up with... (ding) ...a deficit of 35 cents. I'll give you my address and you can send me a check for that if you like! Two scores in and we've yet to have a total you'd find on the Big Wheel!! Here's your board revealed, Jessica. You didn't take your lucky number 2 I noticed and if you would have, you'd have scored... (ding) ...just 20 cents, but that would've definitely helped. Well Greg, all you need is one positive number and you'll be the runner-up. Let's set up the board for Greg, please. (ding) Where would you like to begin, Greg?

Greg begins near the middle of the board and behind number 25 we discover... (ding) ...number 25! Greg has a quarter. Now, the situation is this...you can stay on the quarter and that will put you into our Endgame as the runner-up. There is a slight advantage in both the chances to win the Endgame and the bid range you will receive in the Showcase if you enter the Endgame as a Playdown winner rather than a runner-up. So, you could go again if you wanted Greg and try to get closer to a dollar and perhaps push Kourtney into the runner-up position. On the other hand, you could suffer the same fate as Jessica and wind up even further in the hole than she got.
It's your choice, Greg. We can stop now and you'll be the runner-up or you can go for it and try to better Kourtney's score. What's your pleasure, sir?

Greg is going for it and selects number 5 off the board. When we flip that card around, we find... (ding) ...45 cents more for a total of 70 cents! So, it's the same situation, Greg. Kourtney is still the leader at only 15 cents from the dollar, you are now 30 cents away. You do have one more selection at your disposal. If you found a .20, .25, .30, .35 or .40 on your last selection, you would win this Endgame Playdown. So I pose the same question to you -- stay on 70 cents and be the runner-up or go for it?

Greg wants to try lucky 13...let's see how lucky it is for him... (ding) Well, this is interesting! You have found one of the asterisk numbers. So, first of all, you dropped 20 cents, so your score is now 50 cents, but the asterisk means two things. One, that you get another selection and two, you can decide to either add the value you find next to your current score or replace your current score entirely with what you find next. You also don't necessarily have to take the selection, it's your choice to take it or not. So, it's the same question for a third time, Greg -- stay and be the runner-up or go for it?

Greg is going for it, figuring why not, because the worst he could do would be to find the negative 75 cents square, but that would still leave him as the runner-up at this point. So, he takes #27 and that gives him... (ding) ...40 cents and another asterisk! Well, I don't even think I have to ask whether you'd like to replace your score entirely and now have a score of 40 cents or add this .40 to your current .50 and wind up as the winner of the Endgame Playdown, beating Kourtney by a nickel! Since you found yet another asterisk, this does give you an additional selection if you want it, so if you are choosing again, you must first decide what your score is before we proceed -- 40 cents or 90 cents. I'm explaining all this just for the sake of explaining it, but I would bet that Greg will stop with 90 cents. We'll find out once he returns from his trip on Tuesday.
