Isn't that a straight or do the numbers have to be rolled in order?

Well, just to revisit what straights look like... ...the straights in Crag are 1-2-3 for low numbers, 4-5-6 for high numbers, 1-3-5 for odds and 2-4-6 for evens. 3-4-5 is not a straight in Crag.

In that case, I'll freeze the 4 and 5. I'll reroll the 3 with A.

All right -- freezing the outer dice. (freeze sfx) (rolling sfx)Chance at a high straight or a Crag. (dings; audience cheers)It's a 4 and that completes a CRAG! (Doug walks over to Kevin's podium) A 3-4-5 might work in Three-Card Poker. But you rolled a much better combination here -- a Crag. As a result, you pocket... (crowd and Doug count money in unison) Doug: 100... Crowd: One... (ding)Doug: 200... Crowd: Two... (ding)Doug: 300... Crowd: Three... (ding)Doug: 400... Crowd: Four... (ding)Doug: 500... Crowd: Five... (ding)Doug: 600... Crowd: Six... (ding)Doug: 700... Crowd: Seven... (ding)Doug: 800... Crowd: Eight... (ding)Doug: 900... Crowd: Nine... (ding)Doug: $1000! (dings; audience cheers)(Doug returns to his podium) Suddenly, Kevin takes the lead 75-63. Kevin, any triple or any combination of 13 means you win the first game and $2500. Marc, you still need a Crag to win this game. Round 7 of a maximum of 10 rounds starts with this. Single digit question: According to the title of a classic song by Mary MacGregor, she was torn between how many lovers?71 marc41242 koopakid1707 randomizer.org(Kevin buzzes in)Kevin? [NOTE FROM DOUG: So that we can pick up the pace a little bit, Kevin, please respond with three stopper letters with your answer in case your answer's right. Thanks.]

Kevin says Mary was torn between 3 lovers. Is that right? (buzz) No. Sorry. Marc, chance to steal. (ding)Again the question, according to the title of a classic song by Mary MacGregor, she was torn between how many lovers? Marc, was she torn between 2, 4 or 5 lovers?

Was Mary torn between 2 lovers? (ding; audience applause)Yes. Of course if you're on a soap opera, you may be torn between several lovers. (scattered laughter from the crowd) (rolling sfx)Marc, chance to reclaim the lead, or perhaps win the game, comes now. (ding)Starting with a 1. (ding)There's another 1. (ding) (scattered cheers) And there's a third 1. A triple is worth 25 points if you stop here.

I'll take that to mean you want the 25 points. With that... ...we have a high scoring game as we start Round 8. Winner of this question *could* win the game. Ironically, this next question involves a lot of scoring. (a few in the crowd giggle and laugh) Get your minds out of the gutter! (more scattered laughter from the crowd) Anyhoo, Marc, Kevin, tense up. Here's the question. Missing digit question: Phil Esposito will always be considered one of the greats in NHL hockey. Did Phil put 717 biscuits in the baskets? (ding; audience applause)He sure did. Well, Marc, you could win the game right here. If the dice total at least 12 points, that's the game. Any straight or any triple puts you over the top and gives you the game. Let's roll those dice. (rolling sfx)(ding)There's a 4. (ding) Well -- a 1. (ding) And another 1. Dice total 6 points if you stop here.

Doug: Welcome back to Crag: The Numbers Game. We *could* be on the verge of history. First, let's check the money scores. Doug: Marc leads $2500 to $1500. It takes $5000 to win the match. Marc, before we proceed, we should give you a chance to send shout-outs to friends and loved ones. Marc: I'd like to say hi to my Dad who's watching from home, my aunts, uncles and cousins, and all my friends. Don't ask me for too much of the money! (scattered laughter from the crowd) Doug: Yes, I'd imagine you'd have to budget some gas money -- for a prize that you *will* win if you win this or the next game in the match. Roll that clip, fellers! (MG-HSH theme plays) Doug: (in pre-recorded audio) If Marc wins tonight's match, he wins this brand new car!(audience cheers) The Ferrari F12 Berlinetta goes from 0 to 60 in three seconds -- and it comes with 731 horses under the hood, seven-speed transmission, parking sensors, leather headliner, an awesome sound system and so much more. A fantastic prize worth $337,450. (MG-HSH theme plays) And our contestants will receive some of the following.
The left-handed and right-handed Radius toothbrush cleans teeth and gums with its 5,500 ultra-soft bristles. Radius looks different because it makes a difference.
From Wyler Watch, a man's quartz watch. It's a fashion in a rectangular case with adjustable woven bracelet. The champagne dial is accented by two genuine diamonds, from Wyler.
A pair of Zeiss mini-binoculars. So small, they fit into your shirt pocket. These mini-binoculars have the high quality Zeiss optics. From Carl Zeiss, Inc.
Simoniz, the first great name in car waxes. Available in pre-softened or liquid form. There are shines, and there are Simoniz shines.
And a member of our studio audience will receive a 22-piece Master Mechanic multi-drive socket set complete with fitted box. Exclusively from True Value Hardware stores.
Plus, each of our contestants this week will receive... ...a copy of Crag: The Home Game. The fun and excitement of Crag can be at your next party. Now we noted earlier it's Throwback Thursday here at Crag: The Numbers Game. That means Game 2 has nothing but missing digit questions. Each question refers to an event that happened in the past. All you have to do is signal -- and identify the missing digit in the year that event happened. Marc, Kevin, hands on your buzzers, please, because Game 2 starts with this. Let's see if we can keep you on your toes for this first question of our Throwback Thursday game. I'll show you the year the U.S. government announced the end to shoe rationing -- and you tell me the missing digit.(ding)49 marc412 14 koopakid17 45 randomizer.org

Marc says the last digit's 2. I used to live in Knoxville. I know that's right. (ding; audience applause) World's Fair -- one of the greatest moments from that wonderful city. (rolling sfx)Dice are yours again, Marc. (ding)Starting with a 3. (ding)There's a 6. (ding) (scattered groans) And close to the non-Crag 13. Marc, want 12 points or another try?
