Hello and thanks for your patience. We're ready to resume Crag: The Numbers Game. And what a time to resume.
\ Marc Enyedy returns with four match wins and $223,700. If he wins this match, he retires undefeated, wins a new car and is assured of no less than $568,650 in total winnings. When Crag was on another platform, the all-time winner earned $310,000 and change. So Marc could rewrite Crag history.
\ Think you have what it takes to defeat him? As long as you haven't lost a match of Crag to Marc, you're eligible to play.
...now on to qualifying. The player closest to the right answer, high or low, opposes Marc. And here's your question.
While we were away, we helped Greggo with his anime-themed game shows at Hamacon 6 in Huntsville, Alabama. So, before the show, one of our dice girls rolled three money dice based on the currency from the anime series "Cowboy Bebop". The numbers 1 through 6 were replaced with, respectively, 25 woolongs, 50 woolongs, 75 woolongs, 100 woolongs, 150 woolongs and 200 woolongs. What is the sum of the single roll of the three dice? Please respond in increments of 25 woolongs; please make sure your answer is higher than 50 woolongs and lower than 625 woolongs.
This game operates on 24 hour deadlines. Please PM me your answer in 24 hours from now.

(Shelly rolls) Pair of 75s and a 25 for 175 woolongs. Who's the closest? 200 koopakid17 Kevin Kolsen's going to try to stop Marc's winning ways on Crag: The Numbers Game -- after we let stations ID themselves
Voiceover guy: The spirit of Arlen on KOTH. (drum roll)This is Marc Enyedy, our current champion. So far, he's won four matches and $223,700 in cash. If he wins tonight's match, he'll retire undefeated and win a new car worth more than $300,000. He could become the biggest winner in the history of...(last portion of WGYN theme plays) ...Crag: The Numbers Game.
Helloooooo, everybody, I'm Doug Morris. We're about to start an important match where 13 can be your lucky number. Before we start, you're probably wondering what happened to our celebrity episode plans. Well, the celebrity challenger is stuck in traffic -- (scattered laughter from the crowd) -- so we decided to postpone those plans and play a celebrity episode another time. You just met our four-time champion. Let's say hello to the player who wants to end his winning ways -- Kevin Kolsen. Kevin, welcome to our show. Marc, welcome back. We've gotten to know Marc well this week. Kevin, we're meeting you for the first time. Please tell us about yourself.

Well, Doug, I'm from Long Island, New York where I work as an accountant. I have more time to myself since it's not as busy this time of year. In my spare time, I like video games, game shows and writing.

Ahhh -- an accountant. By the job description, on the one hand, I'm sure the weeks or months leading up to April 15th are quite hectic. On the other hand, you should do well at a show that's billed as a numbers game. Kevin, we wish you good luck. We also wish the same good luck to Marc. As we've known this week and part of last, Marc has done quite well -- winning more than $223,000. Marc, we've crunched some numbers of our own. Should you win this match tonight, the worst that could happen is that you'd earn more than $568,000 in cash and merchandise. (audience cheers) Merchandise being the car. Easily, you'd shatter the current all-time record of $315,450, currently held by Eddie Timanus, a college sports writer who, perhaps, you've seen as a champion in our previous session of Crag and on other shows. Marc, we'll give you a chance to send shout-outs to friends and loved ones before Game 2. Right now, let's start this important match with Game 1. Much like the regular dice game of Crag, our game is all about numbers -- particularly the numbers you can roll on dice. The right answer to each question on our show is a number between 1 and 6 inclusive. Sometimes, we'll ask for the Roman numeral or ordinal equivalent of one of those numbers. And there are also missing digit questions to watch for. I'll explain how they work later. (ding)Right now, we start the match with a single digit question. And it goes something -- like this. Single digit question: According to the lyrics of the song "She'll Be Comin' 'Round the Mountain", she will be driving how many white horses? 06 marc412 34 koopakid17 43 randomizer.org(Kevin buzzes in)Kevin?

Is she driving 6 white horses? (ding; audience applause)She sure is. Good job. Kevin, with that right answer, you've earned the maximum of two rolls of the Crag dice. If you like what you roll the first time, take the points associated with that combination and we'll start a new round with a new question -- or you may freeze as many as two of the dice and reroll the rest. Over here, these are the ways you can score big on Crag. We have four different straights worth 20 points each. The 1-2-3 make a low straight, the 4-5-6 make a high straight, the 1-3-5 make an odd straight and the 2-4-6 make an even straight. Remember, it doesn't matter what order the numbers appear on the board -- just as long as all the numbers are different and they're all low, high, odd or even. If you get three of the same number, that's a triple for 25 points. And as I noted earlier, 13 is a lucky number in this game. If you roll any sum of 13, I'll double that sum for 26 points. But if that sum of 13 is made up of a pair of a particular number plus one odd number, that's a Crag for 50 big points. (audience cheers)(rolling sfx)Dice are rolling now, Kevin. They lock into your buzzer one at a time. (Kevin, please "stop the dice" by responding with three different letters from A to F inclusive. You may repeat numbers if you think it will help.)

(ding)Starting with a 4. (ding)Following with a 1. (ding)And ending that roll with a 6. Kevin, this is not one of the combinations worth 20 or more. You may take the sum of the dice in points -- 11, in this case -- or you may freeze up to two numbers and reroll the rest. How do you play it?

Holding, or as we say "freezing", the 4 and 6. (freeze sfx)Those dice will not reroll. The 1 in the center will. (rolling sfx)And again, stop that screen with your buzzer when you're ready. (ding)Stop on another 1. Well, you broke even. Eleven points for you, Kevin. Remember, the first to 100 points wins the game and $2500. If no one reaches 100 after ten rounds, the player closer to 100 wins the cash. The first player to win $5000 wins the match -- and a shot at the Super Crag for possibly $1,000,000. (audience cheers)By the way, the runner-up payoff is $500 -- and we also award $1000 to the first player in the match to roll a Crag. On to Round 2 and this. Champ says 2 blank tiles are in Scrabble. Is he right? (ding; audience applause)Yes. The way I play Scrabble, I usually offer blank stares. (scattered laughter from the crowd) (rolling sfx)All right, champ, your first chance to get on the board. (ding)Starting with a 2. (ding)There's a 5. (ding)And there's a 1. Well 2, 5 and 1 total 8 points if you stop here.

Freezing the Texas sunflower. We can do that. (freeze sfx) (rolling sfx) Outer dice reroll. Let's see what happens. (ding)Stop on a 6. (ding)And stop on another 6. (scattered cheers) Yeah, that's 17 points. If you can't get a straight or better, roll boxcars and a 5. Marc leads by 6 points. Let's do the math. (AYSTA5G stinger) (scattered cheers) And let's take a look at the formula we'll use. (ding)Subtraction. Players, I'll give you clues about the variables "a" and "b". Do the math to solve for "x", which is still a number higher than 0 and lower than 7. Here's the rest of this math problem. If "a" equals the number of U.S. Supreme Court Justices and "b" equals the maximum number of players on an NBA team's starting lineup , "x" equals what single digit number? 41 marc412 21 koopakid17 72 randomizer.org(Marc buzzes in)Marc?

Champ says the solution is 4. Does "x" equal 4? (ding; audience applause)Yes. Nine justices minus five players equals four. (rolling sfx)Away go the dice, Marc. (ding)Stop on a 1 (ding)There's a 5. (ding) (scattered applause)And a 3 for the first straight of the game -- the odd straight. Marc, would you like to stop here and take 20 points -- or live a little and try for the triple or a 13?

Taking the 20 -- and with that... ...you've roughly doubled your score to 37, Marc. Kevin, you're still at 11. Get ready to match a star as we fill in the blank. (MG'7x stinger) (scattered cheers) And here's your Round 4 question. Rapper and musician André Benjamin is better known by a numeric stage name. Marc says we're talking about André 3000. Is that right? (ding; audience applause)That's it. (rolling sfx)More points are headed your way. Question is -- how much? (ding)There's a 5. (ding)There's a 2. (ding) (scattered cheers) And there's a 6. Dice total 13 -- however no repeats. So I'll double the sum and give you 26 points, Marc, if you end the round right here.

(scattered cheers) Taking the 26. And with that... ...Marc is taking a commanding lead in this game. Kevin, remember, the game's not over until someone reaches 100 points or we complete ten rounds. Marc, a Crag in this, our fifth round, will give you the game and an extra $1000. Here is your Round 5 question. Kevin says there are 4 pecks to the bushel. Is that right? (ding; audience applause)That's it. Now, Kevin, for bonus points, how many Pecks fell down the stairs on "The Big ShowDown"? (audience laughs) (rolling sfx)Only kidding. We all know the answer's 1. Kevin, no joke here. You could use some points. A Crag would make this a near tie game.
