(scattered cheers) Gonna bank the money. Very well. (ding)With that, you take the lead back, Matt. Now we're at the midway point in the game. Round 4 starts off with this question. Australia, Canada or Venezuela. Which country is lead by a president? 44 billmcdee 65 mringgenberg 22 randomizer.org(Bill buzzes in)Bill?

This time I KNOW the "C" answer is wrong...
It is Venezuela that has a president.

Venezuela is right. (audience applause) Chance to take back the lead comes now, Bill. (Bill rolls) Double 3 -- but there's no double decision on the free roll. So a new pot starts with $600. Next double in the round does trigger a double decision. Just avoid that sum of 7. Stop and bank the 6 -- or try to add to the mix? (audience shouts suggestions)

I know the dice have no memory, but we have not yet seen a 7. Even though it's a low amount, I'm content to bank the $600.

Total guess again, Kate Upton?

That's it -- Kate Upton. (scattered applause) Another free roll, Bill. (Bill rolls) And another double on the free roll. Once again -- no double decision. But you do have the choice of banking $400 or rolling again? (audience shouts suggestions)

Again, it's not much to risk, but I have a dreadful fear of that 7, so I'll just bank the $400.

And you're thinking's right. (audience applause) Roll again, please. (Bill rolls) And it's a 5 for $500. Now, Bill, if you bust out of this round or bank a gazillion dollars or less, there's still at least one way Matt can catch up to you in the catch-up round. A $550 deficit would be relatively easy for Matt to make up -- but then again, we haven't had that terrible 7 crop up. Roll again or bank? (audience shouts suggestions)

Even before I read what you wrote, I was thinking the same thing.
I'll roll again. (covering my eyes)

(Bill rolls)(bust cue; audience groans)Argh! It was bound to come up sooner or later. The 7. (tones sound)And there's the signal for the catch-up round. Matt, since you're trailing, you'll roll first. Bill, if necessary, you'll roll. In this round, there's no pot to build. The value of the roll is immediately added to your bank. A roll of a 7 is still a bust; you don't lose anything but you don't gain anything either with the 7. The double decision board is still active -- and we'll reshuffle it. (amounts are shuffled on the double decision board; after shuffling stops, the amounts are covered immediately with the doubles)Some of the screens now hide extra and free rolls of the dice. There are also small payoffs to watch out for. No busts on the board. Matt, as long as you don't roll a 7, you're still in business. So -- when you're ready, please take your catch-up roll. (Matt, number from 1-100, please.)

(Matt rolls) (audience cheers)Wow -- big one. A 10 for $1000. (ding)Matt now leads by $950. Bill, you now must roll. You need a 10, 11 or double to stay in the game. Anything else and Matt wins Game 1. When you're ready, give 'em a roll. (Bill, number from 1-100, please.)
