Oh, yes, my friends! Welcome to Exploding Kittens, our version of the everyone's favorite feline-fueled card game. And as Kyle just mentioned, our players are going to have to be devious and use their resources wisely to win our game and get a chance at $25,000 in cash!

I am a military officer in the Louisiana Army National Guard from Baton Rouge.

When I'm not serving my country, I am a security professional for Allied Universal. (Sorry was busy with work)

Thank you. My name is Kevin Kolsen, and I'm an accountant from Long Island, New York.

I hear that's a very important job. How do you handle the pressure of keeping up with all those, uh, financial records?

It is. I manage, so to speak. Gotta do the books for dozens of businesses and be sure all the personal returns are on tap. At this time of year, I’m handling everybody on extension.

Dude, it's hard enough to do your *own* taxes, and you gotta do someone else's? Hope the IRS gives out overtime for that. (light laughter) Anyway, best of luck with that and best of luck here.

We're going to start out by playing our Cash Builder Round.

Here you see ten numbers on our board--0 to 9. Nine of those have dollar symbols behind them, while one has a Kitten. When it's your turn, you must choose a number--if it has a dollar symbol behind it, you earn money and get the right to choose another number or pass to the next player. If you find a Kitten (shown with a K,) you're out of the round, but you get to secretly choose which number to put the Kitten next.

The first couple of dollar symbols earn you $250 each, the next pair is $500 each, and the third pair are worth $750 each. The final three symbols are worth $1,000, $1,500, and $2,000 respectively. We keep going around the horn until someone finds the last dollar symbol, or when all three of you are knocked out. The player who finishes the round with the most money gets the advantage of going first in our Quiz Round.
