(buzz) Fits -- but that's not it. Kourtney, you're back in business as we reveal the letter under the highest remaining number. (ding) The 9 gives us an E. Kourtney, the 10 now join the 4, 3, and 2 among the unlucky rolls. You may guess for $1600, roll again, or pass.

(ASB win cue plays; audience applause) Hey now. Shot in the dark guess pays off and pads your lead, Kourtney. (chimes; audience cheers) And with that sound, you have a chance to add $1000 more. This is the last of our follow-up questions in the game. Kourtney, answer this question correctly and you bank the grand. Miss it and Mark gets a chance to capitalize. So, Kourtney, for $1000... According to the lyrics of a classic hit song by Sly Fox, "The Hollywood Squares are living in..." -- where? And we need the exact three-syllable name of the place as noted in the lyrics.

Exactly right. (audience cheers)Huge lead for Kourtney. Mark, we'll need to get into the hurry-up offense as we set up the next puzzle. (chime sfx)New puzzle with four words and five words in place and away you go. (audience cheers as...) (Mark rolls)Starting with the roll of an 8.

(ASB win cue plays; audience applause) That's it. (tacky buzzer)Oh -- but there goes the time. 3450 for Mark. Kourtney, with $4600, you're the new Lucky Numbers champion. (ASB win cue plays; audience applause) Congratulations, Kourtney, on a fine win. In just a moment, you'll play for more than $400,000 in cash and prizes in the main event. So please stand by. Mark, what an amazing stay you've had here. Two new cars, a great trip to Jamaica, and a lot of money along the way. Final grand total in cash and prizes -- $315,633. (audience cheers)Congratulations and one more big round of applause for a big winner -- Mark Liotta. (audience cheers)Kourntney, you'll have a chance to meet or exceed that total at the main event -- next -- on Lucky Numbers. (commercial cue plays; audience applauds)

(ASB win cue plays; audience applause) Kourtney Wilson is our new champion here on Lucky Numbers with $4600 -- and a chance to add much much more here in the main event. Kourtney, take a look at the medals you're trying to collect. We've split 'em in half. We now cover them... (chime sfx)...with these lucky numbers. You must roll the *combinations* seen up there to snatch the respective half medals. So if you roll a 10, you have to take the latter half of the gold; you can't play the 4 and 6 and take halves of two different medals. (prize music)When you do put together both halves of a particular medal, you may trade it in for a prize or a chance to play for more cash. And we've got a lot in cash and merchandise today. Here's Bill Kennedy to tell you what's in store for you today. Bill: My pleasure, Doug. First, Kourtney, Tony Lane brings the fun and excitement of Monopoly to ABC. Collect both halves of the bronze medal and the world's most popular board game will come home to you -- in this sterling silver edition. (audience cheers)This deluxe Monopoly game comes complete with pewter tokens, ball-cornered dice with leather dice cups, leather-bound bank boxes, and much more. Furnished by Geoffrey Parker Games, this prize is valued at $11,850. (audience cheers)Next for the silver medal, it's our special Cookie Jar game -- new and improved where a lucky roll could pay off up to $100,000 cash. (audience cheers)Finally for the gold medal, it's a new recreational vehicle. (audience cheers) Hit the open road in this luxurious Class A motorhome from Newmar -- complete with power-assisted steering, interior and exterior kitchens, and it comfortably sleeps six people. This RV is valued at $124,659. So far, the potential value of the main event is $236,509. (audience cheers)Thanks, Bill. Kourtney, as you know, that's just scratching the surface. If you're fortunate to collect all three medals, you'll win the two great prizes, the chance to play Cash Card, *and* our cash jackpot of... (drum beats; cha-ching) (audience cheers)...$237,500. Nearly a quarter of a million dollars. As you know, you can build up the jackpot during the main event. Any roll of 2, 3, 11, or 12 is wild. That means we add $5000 to the pot -- and we give you the power to take any half medal. But when one lucky number remains, you must come up with a natural combination in a maximum of five attempts. Anytime your roll leads to half a medal that you've already captured, we'll add $2500 and let you roll again. However, any roll of 7 puts the main event... (danger zone cue; lights briefly flicker in certain parts of studio)...in the danger zone. That means any half medals you've collected will be at risk. The next roll of 7 means you end the main event with nothing. So at certain intervals I'll give you a chance to stop. (Doug hands dice to Kourtney) Clean house and you'll win no less than $374,000 in cash and merchandise. (ooos from audience) Ready to play the main event?

Then good luck and off you go. (audience cheers as...) (Kourtney rolls)Starting with a 6. That's good for half a bronze. (chime sfx)A roll of an 8 gets you that deluxe Monopoly game. (audience cheers as...) (Kourtney rolls)And there it is. (chime sfx)The Monopoly game is yours. Now let's see if you can complete another medal -- as the Junior G-Man Magic Carpet returns the dice to you. (audience cheers as...) (Kourtney rolls) A 4! Halfway to the RV! (chime sfx)Not only are you halfway to winning the RV, you're halfway to winning the entire main event. It *has* been won in the bare minimum six rolls. So you can do it, Kourtney. (audience cheers as...) (Kourtney rolls) (danger zone cue; lights briefly flicker in certain parts of studio) (audience groans)Oh -- and -- that can happen, too. Kourtney, you're in the danger zone. That means the next roll of 7 forfeits the portions of the medals you've collected and, in this case, deprives you of the Monopoly game. So I'll give you a chance to stop and keep that Monopoly game. I'll also add in $1000 in cash for each half medal -- including the completed bronze -- that's $3000 on top of the Monopoly game for a total of $14,850 in cash and merchandise I'm offering you to stop. If you decided to keep playing, you must continue until you complete the gold or the silver medal. Have a think -- and let us know what you want to do. (audience shouts suggestions)

(audience cheers)We've got a gambler, folks. Good luck, Kourtney, and keep on rolling. (audience cheers as...) (Kourtney rolls) (audience cheers)And that completes gold! (chime sfx)That didn't take long at all. Kourtney, it's decision time again. You may stop now and trade in the completed gold and bronze medals for the RV and the deluxe Monopoly game. I'll also throw in $4000 in cash -- $1000 still for each half medal. That's a grand total of $140,509 in cash and merchandise that I'm offering you right now to stop. If you decide to keep rolling, the $4000 comes back to the house, you'll be risking the prizes for the jackpot and the chance to play Cookie Jar for up to $100,000 more. (audience shouts suggestions) We're also nearing the end -- so if you roll a 5 or a 9 soon -- or get one of those numbers courtesy of a wild roll -- the other number has to be collected on a natural roll in five tries or less. Lots to think about. What do you do? Stop now -- or risk it all?

(audience cheers)Going to stop here. Kourtney, we'll add up your winnings in just -- but first -- (mixed reactions from crowd) -- you know what's coming next. We have to know what would've happened if you continued. Roll again, please. This won't count. (audience cheers as...) (Kourtney rolls)Well -- that would've put $2500 more into the pot. That would've rounded up the pot to $240,000. That would've meant you'd also keep on rolling. What would've happened then? (audience cheers as...) (Kourtney rolls) (audience cheers)Everything would've gone down the drain. Aren't you glad you stopped?

(commercial cue plays; audience applauds)We're back with more of Lucky Numbers. We've got a little time to spare... ...and just enough time for an exhibition game for what would've been Cookie Jar had Kourtney put together the silver medal. Since Kourtney didn't roll a 5 and 9, *I'm* going to play this new Cookie Jar game. (scattered cheers) Now, in the old game, we used to stuff $1000 in the first cookie jar, $2000 in the second, and so on to $5000 in the fifth cookie jar. The roll of one cube would determine the payoff -- with a roll of a 6 awarding all the money in all five cookie jars for a total of $15,000. But in this new game, we stuff random amounts of cash and surprises. A roll of a 6 is now wild -- and gives the player the power to manually choose one jar. So -- I'll give this a roll. (audience cheers as Doug rolls) Ah -- got the wild roll -- 6. Okay -- I've got a good feeling -- about -- 2. (ding)(scattered groans) Fifty bucks. Where was the $100,000? Oh -- a doubler. "Double this amount" points to the fifth cookie car... ...which was hiding $50,000 -- and that would've resulted in a hundred grand. There you see the remaining amounts up there. So that's how Cookie Jar works. Kourtney, I can't promise Cookie Jar will be back for the next show -- but you'll be back for the next show. Ready for your grand total after one win?
