Well -- let's see. No -- Missouri's nickname -- the -- show me state. To put it out there, we did flirt with the idea of abbreviating clue words without periods or other non-letter characters. But S&P vetoed the idea. Nevertheless, Kansas City and Joplin are cities in the show me state of Missouri. (Puala places dice near David's buzzer) Well, that's the game. David, sorry you ran into bad luck which caused your first loss. Don't worry. You're not out until you lose two. Tell ya what, Puala and David, please stick around, because we're starting Big 6 right now. Bryan, let's see if you can do better than just $500. Let's start with the money roll for $5000 a point. Doubles are allowed -- so a roll of boxcars makes the Big 6 word's maximum value $60,000. So, if you're ready, take your money roll. (audience cheers as...) (Bryan rolls)(cha-ching) (audience cheers)Yo-leven -- times $5000. Ready to go for $55,000, Bryan?

Wally, you heard the champ. Let's not keep Bryan waiting and set up Big 6, please. (FF reveal sfx) Thanks, Wally. Bryan, the dice faces accordingly hide the letters that spell out your Big 6 word. Much like the main game, you're going to try to uncover as many letters in the Big 6 word as you possibly can. Now, Wally's about to give us a hint. Wally, may we have the hint, please? (ding) Music Music Music. Now this word relates in some what to the world of music. This word *may* or *may not* be a proper noun. Bryan, just like the earlier game, you get four rolls of the dice. What's different here is if you roll two different numbers, you may only take one of the two numbers you rolled -- and you can never play the sum. So if you rolled a 1 and a 4, you could have Wally reveal the first letter or the fourth letter -- but not the fifth letter. After your first roll, if you can correctly solve the Big 6 word, you win... (ding) ...$55,000 But if you need a second roll, the value of the Big 6 word drops to $5K -- and for each roll thereafter, we cut the potential winnings in half. While you're on a roll in Big 6, anytime you throw doubles or two different numbers you've already played, that counts as a wasted roll and reduces your potential winnings accordingly. (Puala hands Bryan dice) And remember, you'll need to solve the word to have a chance to win more money in Lucky 7. So you've got the rules and the dice, Bryan. You -- are on a roll. (audience cheers as...) (Bryan rolls)Starting with a 6 and a 3. This give you a choice of the third or sixth letter.

Well the hunch paid off. Now you'll have to play another hunch at the start of Lucky 7. Wally, please set up Lucky 7. (FF reveal sfx) Thanks, Wally. Bryan, here's how Lucky 7 works. Wally will give you a certain number of chances to roll any sum of 7 on the dice. But before Wally sets the timer, we need to find out what is at stake. All you have to do is pick a letter in the word "lucky". Now, even though you didn't get to play a Level 1 game on the last show, you are playing a Level 2 game of Lucky 7 right now. And those lucky letters hide different amounts of cash -- ranging in value from $25,000 to $150,000. (audience cheers)So let's put those hunches to work again right now, Bryan. Which letter in "lucky" hides the 150 large?

In K, Wally, what did you hide? (cha-ching) (audience cheers)Woah! Call yer ma, call yer pa, call yer friends in Arkansas. Bryan's playin' fer $150,000. (alarm goes off) Now then, that's the good news. Here comes the bad news. Because you found top dollar, Wally's only setting the shutdown timer for... (ding) ...two rolls. Now, if you don't roll doubles the first time out, you will get the full compliment of two chances to roll any sum of 7. If you succeed in rolling a 7, you win $150,000. (more cheers) Ready to get back on a roll?

Champ's rarin' to go. So, good luck, Bryan as you get back -- on a roll. (audience cheers as...) (Bryan rolls) It's a 10. (ding) Not a sum of 7 -- but not a double. So the roll does award a consolation prize of $100 a point or $1000. And you still have one more roll to go, Bryan. Let's make this a seven. (audience cheers as Bryan blows on the dice, claps them together and then rolls . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .) (buzz; NYSI89 losing horns; audience groans)Ohhh -- so -- close. (ding)Well, fortunately, you got another $800 for that. A total of $1800 in this session of Lucky 7. We add to your previous winnings for a total of... (FF reveal sfx) (audience cheers)...$53,700. And I tell you what. Bryan, David, we have some time to spare before we play our second main game. We're going to let *both* of you play one of our sidebar games head-to-head for a prize. We'll play it -- and *then* play the second main game -- when On A Roll continues after this. (theme plays; audience cheers)

Tiffany: Closed captioning provided by... (audience cheers)Welcome back to On A Roll. Before we begin our next main game, we have some time to spare. Normally, we'd play Big 6 and Lucky 7 in *this* segment. But Bryan won the main game so quickly that we're going to play Triple Play. And the winner of this game will go on to win this. (BL ticket plug cue) Tiffany: Maid service for a year. (audience cheers) Tiffany: That's right, come home to a clean home for the next 52 weeks. Once a week for the next year, maids will come to your place of residence and make it clean. This prize is worth $13,000. (audience cheers)Oh, how sweet that is. And the player with the higher money score will get to trade in that money for the maid service. The runner-up's money score will be augmented to $250 and *not* get a strike. Then we resume main game play. Now, our dice girls are holding our special Triple Play dice. Lorelei, on the left, is holding Bryan's dice. The sides of a bar, bell, and cherry Currently, facing the camera are respectively replaced a 1, 2, and 3. Puala is holding David's dice. Right now, the sides of diamond, dollar sign, and a wild symbol facing the camera are respectively replaced a 4, 5, and 6. All the bars replaced ones, the bells twos and so on. Ladies, if you will, place the dice into the buckets. (dice girls place dice into buckets) Now, Bryan, since you're the champion, we're going to let you roll the Triple Play dice a maximum of four times. David, you'll then have four rolls to match or beat Bryan's score. Anytime a player rolls a pair, with or without help from a wild symbol, we'll award $1. A triple with at least one wild pays $2. However, triple wild *or* a triple without a wild awards $5. Anything short of a pair pays nothing. The player with the higher money score wins the maid service. And in case of a tie, you'll each get one more roll to break the tie. Any questions?

You -- are on a roll. (audience cheers as Bryan rolls three dice down Let 'Em Roll-esque ramp) (buzz)And -- three-way split to start. So no score there. The ladies are gather the dice for your second roll. Try again, please. (audience cheers as Bryan rolls three dice down Let 'Em Roll-esque ramp) And -- got a pair. Good for a dollar. (ding)Two rolls to go. I'm sure you'd like a triple this time. (audience cheers as Bryan rolls three dice down Let 'Em Roll-esque ramp) Pair of bells pays another dollar. (ding)Last roll to set the bar for David. Ladies are just about ready -- and -- let's see what happens. (audience cheers as Bryan rolls three dice down Let 'Em Roll-esque ramp) The wild comes in to save the day. We'll call this just *one* pair. (ding)Final score of three dollars. David, this means you've got to score more than three bucks to win the maid service. In the event you outscore Bryan without exhausting all your rolls, we'll go ahead, award you the win, and trade in your money for the maid service -- meaning Bryan's $3 will be augmented to $500.
David, roll code from 1-100, please.

David -- you -- are on a roll. (audience cheers as David rolls three dice down Let 'Em Roll-esque ramp) Starting with a pair for a buck. (ding)Two more to tie. Three or more dollars to clinch the win with three more rolls to go. You're still rolling, David. (audience cheers as David rolls three dice down Let 'Em Roll-esque ramp) (buzz)Three-way split, as Bill Cullen would call it. Score's still three to one. Two rolls to go, David. (audience cheers as David rolls three dice down Let 'Em Roll-esque ramp) Triple *with* a wild. That's worth $2. (ding)We've got a tie. David, anything better than a three-way split wins it. (audience cheers as David rolls three dice down Let 'Em Roll-esque ramp) (audience groans)(buzz)And we're going to a tie-breaker. Or -- hold on. (inaudible dialogue from producer) Ohhh -- great news, players. We're going to leave this at a tie. You'll each trade in three dollars for a year's worth of maid service. Sound great? (audience cheers)

Great, because S&P's fearing the tie-breaker might last into TPiR at Night. (scattered laughter from crowd) So, obviously, David, you're a winner of $13,000 in merchandise. Congratulations. (audience cheers)Bryan, with this win, you're up to $66,700 in cash and merchandise. Congratulations. (audience cheers)Meantime, we'll play a new main game -- after this. (theme plays; audience cheers)
