They're calling it an 8. (chime sfx) (audience cheers)So -- $50,000 to share with your charities. But let's go after more. You're not in danger. Bill, please keep rolling. (audience cheers as...) (Bill rolls)(mixed reactions from crowd) Oh -- would you look at that? You called the wild roll an 8 -- and you just got a *natural* roll of 8. Fortunately there's no penalty for that. The even better news, whenever something like this happens in this special edition of this all-star main event... (drum beats; cha-ching)...we add in $10,000 to the pot. (audience cheers) So -- you're still good, Bill. Please roll again. (audience cheers as...) (Bill rolls) (danger zone cue; lights briefly flicker in certain parts of studio)Ohhh -- dear -- this is where it's not good. You're in the danger zone, gentlemen. This means the *next* roll of 7 forfeits the bronze medal and the $50,000. So here's what we're prepared to offer. You may stop the game right now and take $50,000 *plus* another $10,000 for each half of the bronze medal. That's another $20,000. In addition -- and this is a one-time executive decision I'm making in this main event. Had Bill called that earlier wild roll a 4, 5, 9 or 10 instead of an 8 -- and then rolled that natural 8 -- he'd still get the bronze anyway and have a total of one and a half medals by now. So based on what might have been, I'll throw in another $10,000 for the heck of it -- to make it a total offer of $80,000 to bail out of the main event. (audience cheers) If you decide to play on, however, you *must* continue to roll the dice until you uncover both halves of the gold or silver medal -- or until you roll another 7 for a loss. So, Bryan, Bill, what do you think? Stop now and take $40,000 for each charity -- or give back the money and keep rolling for hopefully more dough? (audience cheers)
[Again, as before, Bryan and Bill, talk it over. Final decision comes from Bill.]

There's four numbers left, and only one to beat us if I'm not mistaken. It's up to you Bill.

Far more good numbers than bad ones, and darnit I had a feeling that 8 was going to come up (chuckles).
I'll tempt fate and try one more roll Doug.

Hold on. Just to clarify, if you do roll the dice, you can't stop the game until you've either completed the gold or the silver medal -- or you've rolled another 7, which would forfeith the money. So -- are you sure you want to go for it? (audience shouts suggestions)
[Again, as before, Bryan and Bill, talk it over. Final decision comes from Bill.]

(audience cheers) They're going to keep the money. Okay. So -- $40,000 for each charity. Bryan's up to $75,000. Bill, you've cracked the hundred grand barrier. However -- here at All-Star Lucky Numbers, we are David Muir types of folks who adhere to the belief your right to know overrides your right to exist. (scattered laughter from crowd) If you played on, Bill, let's see what would've happened. (Bill rolls) Okay, that would've been half of the gold medal. If this next roll were a 4 or a wild, that might have been $200,000. (Bill rolls)But it's a 5. That's half a silver. That could've been halfway to $100,000. The next roll? (Bill rolls) (audience cheers)That -- would've been disaster. You would've lost everything. You made the right call.

Well the night's not over quite yet. Bryan, we're still moving forward with the It Takes Two game -- a chance for you to crack the hundred grand barrier for ACS. That happens after this on All-Star Lucky Numbers. (commercial cue plays; audience applauds)

(ASB cue plays; audience applauds) Welcome back to the dice table -- as we put the finishing touches on this edition of All-Star Lucky Numbers. Bill, Bryan, thank you for taking time out of your busy schedules for joining us tonight. (audience cheers)Bryan, this *was* going to be a consolation game of It Take Two. We'll still play It Takes Two -- but you'll play on behalf of both charities. The money you uncover will be equally divided between tonight's charities. Now even though the game is It Takes Two, you can only play with one of the dice. Which one? First or second, Bryan? (Yes, Bill and Bryan may consult with each other. Final decision has to come from Bryan.)

Okay, you take the first cube. I'll take back the second cube. Here's how It Takes Two works. Behind these six lucky numbers, we have three surprises and three cash awards. To uncover a cash award or a surprise, just roll its assigned number. Now if you find a surprise, I'll explain what it means to your charities. To win the cash prize or the surprise, all you have to do is repeat its assigned number. Sound good?

Then please give it a roll. (audience cheers as Bryan rolls) Starting at the very beginning with 1. What's there? (chime sfx) Bonus -- ohhhhh am I glad you found that surprise. Bryan -- and Bill -- the word "bonus" represents -- the progressive jackpot that was left behind in the main event. (audience cheers)So that means -- Bryan -- if you roll another 1 -- tonight's charity will split. (drum beats; cha-ching)...$785,000. (audience cheers)And there's more. During Bill's "What if?" round -- played after you stopped to split the $80,000 -- there were three "What if?" rolls we edited out to save time. Those three rolls happened to be combinations of 6 -- and 6 was the first number you collected in the main event. Had those rolls counted, we would've added $30,000 to the jackpot. It's only fair -- we add $30,000 to the jackpot -- right -- now. (audience cheers) (drum beats; cha-ching)So -- Bryan -- no pressure -- but anytime you roll another 1 -- your charities split $815,000. It's not a million and change -- but a great way to wrap up the night. Bryan, do you feel another 1 is on the way?

There's nothing at risk in this game. Just roll another 1. (audience cheers as Bryan rolls) That's not another 1. But it's a 2 worth. (chime sfx)...$20,000 -- $10,000 for each charity. Roll it again, please. Let's see a 1. (audience cheers as Bryan rolls . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .) IT'S A ONE! IT'S A ONE! (HR87 bonus win cue plays; audience cheers) IT'S A ONE! IT'S A ONE! Ohhh -- wow. What a big win. $407,500 for each charity. We've gone ahead and placed the money in each bank. Bill, you end the night with $514,000 for The Deborah Heart & Lung Center. Bryan, $482,500 for ACS. Congratulations *both* of you! (audience cheers)

Ohhh, you're very welcome. Just in case you wondered what the rest of the board had -- and we've got to show it you anyway to show you we had an honest game... (chime sfx)...had you rolled a 3 twice, Bryan, that would've resulted in a $45,000 payoff -- getting both amounts from 2 and 4 -- banking $22,500 for each charity. Rolling 5 twice would've doubled the amount in 6 -- resulting in a $100,000 payoff -- meaning each charity would've banked $50,000. But clearly, the best result happened. And we're all thankful, aren't we? (audience cheers)Well -- I don't know how we're going to top this show -- but we'll find a way on our daytime show, Lucky Numbers, weekdays on ABC and streaming on Hulu and Disney Plus. Your local news is next -- followed by Kimmel. Make it a great night, keep the faith and treasure your loved ones!
