That's a load of crock, Tony. As the saying goes, "mo' money, mo' problems". Just ask the Ewings. Am I going to give back my $78,000? No way!
However, I'll go with the odds and say higher.

[DING]Let's find out if one of you is right. Matt says 4 and Greg says it's higher... The actual number of millionaires say money can buy happiness is-- [DING-DING-DING, APPLAUSE]5. By just one... it is higher. And speaking of millionaire, here is a clip of one happy millionaire playing the Clock Game for $1 million on a special presentation of "The Price is Right Million Dollar Spectacular". [CHEERS AND APPLAUSE]And here she is... Cynthia Azevedo. After all these years of winning both prizes, including the showcase win and $1 million. So what do you think of our show? Cynthia: I think it's great. Not to mention the fact it's in the same studio where I've won the million bucks. Tony: And I'm glad that you and the rest of the millionaires to enjoying this presentation with us. Thanks for taking part of the Audience Poll. Please return to your seats. Give it up for the millionaire winners! [CHEERS AND APPLAUSE]Greg... you're looking at a 10 as your base card. Do you want to play off your 10 or change the card?

Higher than a 3... [DING-DING-DING, APPLAUSE]It's a HOME GYM! If you win this round (or in the second round), that prize will be yours. Right now, Julianne will place the home gym in your prize column while Rumer hands me a replacement card. Do you still want to call on your 3 higher, champ?

Higher than a 3... [DING, APPLAUSE]...an 8. Do you want to play on your middle card or freeze?

Freeze.

And we'll move Greg's freeze bar as he's now two cards away from winning the first game of the match and a home gym. Question 3 is coming right up... *grabs card* Greg... here is an Educated Guess question. Avatar was the #1 film of all time in the United States. In lifetime gross, how much money the film had earned in domestic ticket sales?

Is this in millions or billions, Tony?

Is this in millions or billions, Tony? I assume it would be millions, Greg.

You assume, yes. All right, then. I saw the movie on Blu-Ray, and it was all right. I'm going to say that's a relatively high number, $638 Million.

[DING]Greg says that Avatar had sold $638 million in domestic ticket sales. Higher or lower, Matt?

My parents saw this movie before and I heard it was really popular so I'm going to say that it's higher.

[DING]This would be very interesting to see how much money that movie had earned. Greg says $638 million and Matt says it's higher... The actual total of domestic ticket sales that Avatar have earned is-- [DING-DING-DING, APPLAUSE]$760,507,625 ! Matt is right... it is higher. Matt, you're looking at a 4 as your base card. Do you want to play on your 4 or change the card?

Lower than an 8... [BUZZER, AUDIENCE GROANING CONTINUES]No. Both players haven't advanced their cards. Greg needs two cards while Matt has a very long way to go. *grabs card* Fourth and final question in round 1 mean it's time to play-- Audience: SUDDEN DEATH! Tony: That's right... it's Sudden Death. Someone's gonna have to win it on the next play of the cards. Matt... we've asked 100 3rd graders: Have you ever had to wait hours for dad to put together a toy that says "easily assembled"?How many of them say they have to wait hours for their father to fix a toy that says "easily assembled"?

It can be sometimes complicated sometimes it can be simple. Kids can maybe get anxious to play with that toy so I'm going to say that it's a middle number. 45

[DING]45 out of 100 say it takes hours for their father to fix a toy that says "easily assembled". What do you think of that answer, Greg... higher or lower?
|
|
|
Post by palmer7 on May 31, 2015 21:28:16 GMT -5
I think there's a trend that's shifting away from the fathers fixing all the toys. More and more responsibility is shifting to the mothers now. I'll say higher, though, just to go with the odds.

Post by tmann3x on May 31, 2015 22:49:32 GMT -5
[DING]This will determine control of the cards. Matt says 45 and Greg says it's higher... the actual number of 3rd graders say it takes hours for their father to fix a toy that says "easily assembled" is-- [DING-DING-DING, APPLAUSE]84. Greg is correct... it is higher. Greg, you have a decision. You could either play and change on your 8 (since you've won Sudden Death) or pass it to Matt and must play on his 4. If he makes a mistake, you win the first round. What's your decision, Greg?

Matt, it's all yours.

Post by tmann3x on Jun 1, 2015 15:39:06 GMT -5
Matt, it's all up to you. You must call all of your cards right in order to win the round. Make one mistake and Greg wins the first round and the home gym. With your 4, call it.
