(fade into applause)
O we are back at long last!
We have a bit of housekeeping to do, and nothing to do with my spray paint tirade I might add (chuckling).
First, in my haste to destroy that Ace of Diamonds, I neglected to show or announce Kourtney's final Pot Limit winnings.
As a result of that dreadful Ace turning up during the Major Wager hand, Kourtney ended up with just $500.
Kind gentleman that he is, Kourtney said "Well at least I held back some."
That's more than we can say for me though!
I went through the archives of our short history.
In 11 episodes, we have had 6 Major Wagers end in heartbreak.
On our first episode, Immanuel Tims lost $8,000 when another King turned up, back when a push during that hand meant a loss.
We soon amended it to where only an Ace or a 2 turning up during the last hand would equal a loss.
So during the most recent 10 episodes, this one included, either an Ace or a 2 ended the Pot Limit end game four times, and one of those times an Ace turned up TWICE! That was when we still had the "Second Chances" available for our players.
It was just unreal to me that almost half of the time, that final hand ends up having an Ace or 2 turn up! That's why I went on my little spray paint tirade.
The powers that be reprimanded me and said they were going to deduct part of my paycheck to replace that damaged Ace.
I argued that they have saved untold thousands of dollars, so there would be no need to do that
Also, the Joker's Jackpot was not hit again, obviously, so on our next episode it will grow to $36,000 and will keep growing by $1,000 per episode until it is won.
Kourtney's grand total for one episode is $2,225 and he will be back next time to take on a new challenger.
I again want to extend my most heartfelt congratulations to our outgoing champion George Cluster, thus far our all time biggest winner having won close to $80,000 over the course of 6 episodes.
(theme begins to play)
So until we reconvene next time, this is your favorite graffiti artist Bill McDee reminding you that the main reason so many of us are in debt, is because when we are asked "A penny for your thoughts", we're always throwing in our two cents worth.
Stay well, be blessed and may all of YOUR decisions be great ones!
Ciao for now!
