 Going with the odds, a slight chance more that it will be lower. Let's find out, is it?  Yes it is. You now are in control of the hand George.  However you have a very difficult decision here because you have a very very tight spread, and Kourtney's spread is much wider. Only another 2, a 3 or another 4 will win the hand for you George, while only a 2 or a 3 will lose the hand for Kourtney if you elect to pass. How do you want to play it George, keep the next card and hope it fits your split, or pass it to Kourtney and hope it will bust his hand? |

If it is a 2, 3 or 4, you'll win this hand and tie up the game, if not, Kourtney will win the hand and game one of the match. The card you kept George is a...  bust! And Kourtney takes the hand and the first game! (win cue)  George, that was a no win situation there for you, for had you passed, that 7 would have fit in Kourtney's hand, but we had to play it out. That's just the first game of the match however, it takes TWO to take the Split Decision crown. Challenger Kourtney Wilson won our first game and thus far has $825. Our 5 time champion George Cluster needs to win this next game to force a one hand Sudden Death tie-breaking game, and has $300 thus far. We used the red deck in game one, so now Witney has broken the seal on a brand new deck of blue cards. George, as you are trailing in the match, our bible of rules and bylaws says you get the honor of cutting the cards by selecting any number higher than 0 but lower than 52. That is correct, and a very appropriate puzzle what with hockey season about to start, Toronto's team are the Maple Leafs, and now that it is autumn, many folks will be using rakes or leaf blowers to deal with the fallen leaves.
