Hi!
In anticipation for next month's premiere of The New Joker's Wild Hour hosted by yours truly, I have a new opening game I want to try out. Instead of doing 2 games back to back, I am instead doing an opening game called "Hi-Lo Showdown". It's a spinoff of the audience games on the original incarnation. I need 3 players to test it out, mostly for timing.

Imagine there's a big spiffy intro at the top of each show. I won't do it here since it's just a test on one round. But nonetheless...  Bill, Shedrick, and Jack are the players on tonight's show! Welcome to the show fellas. We're gonna start the hour with the first half, the Hi-Lo showdown. I'll tell you that only two of you will make it to the second half of the show, but we know how that works so we won't test that. The first half has two halves in and of itself:  The first half determines how much money you can win in the second half of the first half. Boy this'll get confusing won't it. *laughter* You'll each take up to 3 spins of the board. You can either take what you spin or throw it all away for another spin and go for higher. In each window is cash values of $100, $200, $300...all the way up to $800 in each window, so 3 $800's mean you can win up to $2,400! That's the highest you can go. I should tell you there are no devils and no joker's here...so you have nothing to lose, just get the highest score. I'll explain what happens after the spins when we get there, right now Bill's our first player! Give it up for Bill, folks! *cheers* Bill, how are you? |

I am 56 years young, and have been married for the past 32 years.
We, along with our soon to be 24 year old son, reside near historic Washington Crossing, Pennsylvania.
I work full time as an order entry person for equipment used by first responders.
I enjoy vintage sit coms and have a modest collection of older shows on DVD.
I also enjoy vintage game show episodes, playing cards, and watching U.S. History programs.

Now here it doesn't matter who's in first after the spins, so right now if you stop Bill, you'll be playing for $1,600 should you win this opening game.
