Now William, one of your hands has a good chance of winning, so now you have a couple of important decisions to make. First, you can use one of your switches to switch the 9 from one hand and one of your cards with the other if you wish. If not, you can leave them alone. Also, you can now freeze if you wish, but keep in mind that if you freeze, you are freezing BOTH of your hands, and you better hope that Shederick does not score 21, or you can continue on if you choose to do, knowing that one of your hands is now at risk of busting.
You're going to use one of your switches. Which card are you going to switch with the 9? Remember, you can only switch 1 card from your hands only, and not from the hands of your opponent.
DK: Well, well, well! That switch was the smart move for you get the automatic win of getting 21, and that also means that you'll not only receive the Any 21 Jackpot of...
Dean: It's a new Cargo Carrying Robot! From Piaggio Fast Forward, the new gitamini is designed to carry your belongings so you can travel further and more often on foot. gitamini’s dynamic following technology allows it to sense the surrounding environment and adapt its behavior. The result is a robot that’s respectful to its user and the people around it, allowing for easy maneuvering through shared spaces. It’s defined by the behaviors where gitamini is triggered to momentarily decouple from its user, perform a maneuver on its own, and then automatically pair back to its user or sit in Park mode. The first of these behaviors to be released is the ability to maneuver through doors.
Also, you can use the mygita app to download updates, stream music, lock the bin, check battery status, and track your miles walked with gitamini. The team will be able to continually upgrade how gitamini moves and works through easy-to-download software updates so it’s always learning and getting better.
With 7 hours of running time, this robot retails for $1,850!
DK: Thank you, Dean! Also William, as promised, you're also going to get a $2,000 cash bonus and that all-important Gambit Power Chip for you to use at the Gambit Deluxe Board, if, and only if, you become the champion. So, for this final round, along with $675 from the second hand, which only had the 9, for $75 per point, you've won cash and prizes totaling $6,925!
And most of all, you're going to face off against the designated champion at the second half of our show, but first, you're going to take a pitstop at the Gambit Plus Bonus Round, and we'll get to all of that in just a moment.
Shederick...what can I say? You were in control throughout this round until that last question which quickly turned the tide to William's favor, and he took advantage of it and stole the win. But hey, you didn't do too bad for yourself. Both of your hands survived this showdown, and you're getting paid for it.
Your highest hand totaled 13, so at $50 per point, that's $650 for that hand, and the second hand, totaling 10, will get $25 per point, or $250, so that's $900 in total, and you are going to be leaving us with a respectable total of...

As you can see, our Prize Board has 9 prizes that range anywhere from $500 to $2000 in value. But before you go to our board, we are going to determine your bankroll, and the way we do that is by having Melissa pick out the top 5 cards from the deck of 42 playing cards. That's right; 42 playing cards out of 53 that were shuffled during the break by a random member of a third party. We have taken out 11 of those cards from the deck, each one of an Ace through 10, including the Joker, which I'll explain about that in just a moment.
Also, for each 21 that you have achieved during the preliminary match, you'll get 1 additional card for this bonus round, and you have manage to achieve 21 from the final showdown, so that's 6 cards that Melissa will deal out, and the value of each card will be multiplied by $100. So an Ace will equal $100 and a 10 or Face Card will equal $1000. If you have less than $1,000 after the bankroll is drawn, we'll chip in an extra $1,000.
Once we've determine your bankroll, you will then use that money to purchase some prizes on our Prize Board, and then you will have a choice to make, and it's like the same thing from the match. You can either take the card the prize is hiding, or you can take the Top Card from the deck in front of Melissa, but this time, whatever card you decline will be going to the House. That's right, you are going up against the House, and your goal in this game is to beat the House in order to win the prizes you have accumulated, along with the cash in the bankroll, and depending on your score from your hand, the cash from your bankroll will be multiplied.
However, your big main goal is to either score 21 or achieve a Blackjack. Yes, from this point on in the show, all Aces now count as either a 1 or an 11, but that also applies to the House as well, and as always, the House must stand on 17 and above, and the House must hit on 16 or lower. Now, here's the Bankroll Multiplier Layout.
Suited Blackjack
21x
Blackjack
12x
21
10x
6-Card Charlie
10x
20
4x
17 - 19
3x
16 or Less
2x
There is the layout based on how you score from your hand, but you may also notice that we're applying the 6-card Charlie Rule, meaning that you are able to buy up to 6 prizes from our Prize Board, and if you are able to get up to 6 cards AND it totals 21 or less, regardless what happens to the House as long as it doesn't total 21, then you'll automatically win. However, as I've said before, 21 or Blackjack is the big goal in this game, and if you can do that, then that means that not only are you going to win the prizes you've picked, and at least 10 times whatever money you have left in your bankroll, but you'll also win that Camper as well! But, if you are able to achieve a Suited Blackjack, or an Ace and a 10 or Face Card of the same suit, and you'll Twenty-One Times the money you have left in your bankroll.
That is as long as you DON'T pick the Last Chance prize up there on the board. Why? Because if you decide to go for the Last Chance prize, whatever you have left in your bankroll, we're going to take ALL of that away. So for instance, if you have $1,000 left, then you can buy that prize for $1,000. Even if you have $1 remaining, you can still buy the Last Chance prize for $1. In exchange for whatever is left in your Bankroll, the Last Chance prize will be a prize that will have a retail value of at least $2,000, but no more than $5,000, and it will be the last card that you will take for your hand. So think VERY carefully before you decide to go for that Last Chance prize.
There is also one other thing I need to warn you about: The Joker. It is hiding behind one of the 10 prizes on our Prize Board, and you DON'T want to see that Joker, because if you find the Joker, you'll automatically lose, and you'll get nothing. The same thing will happen if you Bust or if the House beats you. However, you'll get a consolation prize of $50 per point.
Now William, before we determine your bankroll, you'll get to cut the deck to determine your fate. Choose a number from 1 to 41, and that will determine how deep the cut will be, and the first 6 cards revealed from the top of the deck will be discarded immediately, so remember those. That may also reflect your decisions later on.
In the words of the immortal Bob Barker, help control the pet population. Have your pet spayed or neutered.
Thank you for that. The deck has been cut, and now, Melissa is going to bring out the first 6 cards from the deck, and that will determine your bankroll. Here we go, Melissa!
A 6 for $600...
An Ace for $100...
A 5 for $500...
A King for $1000...
A 7 for $700...
and a 2 for $200, so your total for tonight's Bankroll is 31, or $3,100!

It's a 5, so you're safe. Now, you have to decide on whether to take that 5 for yourself, or take the Top Card from the deck. Whatever you turn down, it will go to the House.

So the Blackjack Bonus is out of reach, but you can still achieve 21 or the better hand if you beat the House, but you have less than half of your Bankroll remaining: $1,500. So, what prize do you want to purchase next?

OK, it's a 10. Now, do you want to take that card for yourself or give it to the House and take the Top Card from the deck?
In the words of the immortal Bob Barker, help control the pet population. Have your pet spayed or neutered.
OK, William. You are now at 17, and the House is at 9, and you now have an important decision to make. You can freeze at 17 right now, or you can continue on. If you decide to continue, you have to purchase a prize that is no more than $955, or you can choose the Last Chance prize for the remaining bankroll that you have, and the card behind the prize you've purchased not only has to be a 4 or lower, but that card cannot be the Joker as well.
If you decide to freeze though, then Melissa will be drawing cards from the deck and it will be added to the House, and it'll keep on going until either the House totals 17 to 21, or the House busts.
Now, in the event the House does freeze on 17, it'll be counted as a push, and then you will have one final decision to make.
So what are you going to do, William? Freeze at 17, or continue on? If you decide to continue, which one of the remaining 8 prizes are you going to purchase? Remember, you have $955 left in your bankroll.
So now, we don't have to worry about the prize board, but we do have to worry about the House's hand, because it cannot bust on this next card, and as long as it's not an 8 or higher, you'll be in good shape. If you win, you'll win the 2 prizes you've purchased, and since your score is 17, we'll multiply the $955 by 3. However, if the House stops at 17 exactly, and then you will have one final decision to make.
Now Melissa, all eyes are on you, because you will keep drawing cards from the top of the deck until either the House stays at 17 or higher or until the House busts by going over 21. Best of luck, William. Melissa, reveal the next card for the House.
I'm sorry, William. The House was in much better shape on that one, and sure enough, you've been beaten, but if there's any good news, it is that instead of getting coal, at least you'll get $50 per point as a consolation prize or $850, so that means that you're at...
And to those who were playing with us at home, if you wanted to know where the Joker was, the Joker was hiding behind, believe it or not, the Last Chance prize. So it was a good thing that you didn't go there, William.
Also, you do have that important Power Chip to use if you are able to become our champion and face off against our Dealer at the Gambit Deluxe Board, but there's one person that stands in your way, and that is our designated champion, George Cluster, who you will be competing against at the second half of our show, and that's coming up right after the break, so don't go away! The second half of The Big Gambit Hour is coming up next!

We'll return with the second half of "The Big Gambit Hour" in just a moment!
In the words of the immortal Bob Barker, help control the pet population. Have your pet spayed or neutered.
And once again, here are your host and the dealer of the cards, Dayo Kayode and Melissa Joan Hart!
DK: And I thank you, Dean Goss! Hello everyone, and welcome to the second half of The Big Gambit Hour, and if you have just joined us, this is our premiere episode of the classic Blackjack game show with a bit of knowledge, strategy, and certainly luck, and a few other surprises in between! Now, let's take a recap on what has happened so far. Melissa?
Melissa: Dayo, we had 3 players, Nels Snesrud, Shederick Weatherspoon Jr. and William Low battle each other in 3 rounds of questions, answers and dealing with the cards, and in the end, with a lucky switch of the cards, William Low came out on top, but unfortunately fell short in the Gambit Plus Bonus Round, but he has managed to accumulate $9,910 in cash and prizes, and now, he's here to battle our designated champion. Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome William's opponent, George Cluster!
DK: George, welcome to The Big Gambit Hour! Since that this is our first show, we've randomly drew straws backstage to see who would become our designated champion, and George, since you have drawn the longest straw, you are our designated champion, and William has won the first half of the show, so he shall be your opponent. But before we proceed any further, tell the nice folks about yourself, where you're from , and what you do.
