I'll guess the middle
Do not pass go.

(dings; audience applause) That's it. Now, David... ...we're down to the last roll in the round -- but you may not need it... ...because you have a chance to solve the puzzle. If you're right, you win the game and you get an extra hint in Big 6. If you're wrong, or want to bypass a guess, we'll be in play-or-pass mode already since the roll of a 1 and 2 for the sum of 3 cannot be played.

As much as I play to get those railroads, that's gotta be it. And it is -- and Monopoly is certainly a classic game. Plus when you *have* to go to jail -- whether it's because you drew an unlucky card, you rolled three straight doubles, or you landed on the "go to jail" space -- you're instructed to do not pass go. (Ashley places dice near Immanuel's buzzer) Well, Immanuel, I'm afraid you'll have to leave the dice table. Do not pass go. Do not collect extra money. (scattered laughter from crowd) But you collected plenty on our show -- $31,850. The money, fine gifts, and this applause is all yours, Immanuel Tims. (audience cheers)David, due to timing, we're going to play Big 6 shortly. So let's go ahead and roll for your money roll, please. (audience cheers as...) (David rolls) (audience cheers)Woah! 5 and 6 make 11. At $5000 a point, we're playing for $55,000 in Big 6. ($OTC WBMG-esque edit here) (FF reveal sfx) There's Wally to set the table. Now, Wally, we need two hints, please. First, the regular hint. (ding)Person. Now, remember, this word has been verified by Dictionary.com. We are not looking for a proper noun. For solving the puzzle on one clue fully revealed, Wally, please give David an extra hint. (FF reveal sfx)Popeye is a famous one. (scattered cheers) I like your chances here. You know the rules, David, since you played Big 6 earlier. You -- are on a roll. (audience cheers as...) (David rolls) (audience groans)(buzz)Arrrrrgh!!!!!!! Doubles right off the bat. Quickly -- we're down to $5000. Sorry about that. Please roll again. (audience cheers as...) (David rolls)Okay, that's better -- choice of the second or third letter.

(audience cheers)If that's it, David, you win $5000. If that's not it, we'll tape the primetime special from Topeka instead of Vegas. (audience laughs and applauds)Had to sneak that dig in before we go. Wally, for $5000, is this person -- a sailor? (dings; SCSD win theme plays; audience cheers) That's it. I think we figured it all out from the extra hint. Durn that we had to sweat out that double. But you do have $5000 -- and you can win more at Lucky 7. Wally, please set us up. (FF reveal sfx) Thanks, Wally. David, same game as before. Only here at Level 2, the cash awards behind the letters in "lucky" range from $25,000 to $150,000. And going into the hiatus, I sure hope you find the 150. Which letter would you like?

Let's see what Wally stuffed in C. (cha-ching) (audience cheers)Oh my! Call yer maw, call yer paw, call yer kin in Arkansas. We're going for $150,000. That's the biggest amount. That's the good news. (alarm goes off) Now the bad news -- you're probably not going to have a lot of chances to roll for 150-grand. (ding) Two. David, as before, doubles will cause an automatic shutdown of the game. Each time you avoid doubles, you win $100 a point. But if you throw any sum of 7, it's $150,000. Ready to get back on a roll?

(audience cheers)As long as you avoid doubles off the bat, you'll come out money ahead. You, David, are on a roll. (audience cheers as David claps together the dice and then rolls the sum of . . . . . . . . . .) IT'S A WINNER! (dings; DSW sound effects play; win theme plays; audience cheers)(various crowd shots) David, as we wrap up main game, Big 6, and Lucky 7 action here at Television City, we couldn't have wished for a better way to go into a hiatus under these circumstances. How do you feel?

All right -- before we give you your current total, a note that you are welcome to join us for our primetime special in Las Vegas. No matter what happens, you're still our returning champion when play resumes in Glendale. It's going to be awhile before Daytime OAR resumes -- but when we do resume, you'll return with total winning *of*... (FF reveal sfx) (audience cheers)...$174,150 in cash and merchandise. David, we'll see you soon. Friends, we'll see the rest of you for at least two audience games -- right after this.

Okay, the rest of this episode will serve as a mini-preview of the OAR primetime special.
In the remainder, we'll play at least two audience games.
The higher/highest scorer in the audience games plays one more game for a possible $30,000 payoff.
To player a game, you've got to be close enough to the right answer to this question.
Before the show (and thus before we vacate the premises), one of our models rolled the five blocks from TPiR's Let 'Em Roll game. What was the value of the roll? We can confirm she didn't roll five cars right off the bat -- so please make sure your answer is higher than $0, lower than $8000 and in increments of $500.
Please PM me your answer in 24 hours from now.

(theme plays; audience applause)Welcome back to On A Roll. Well, as we start to pack up our gear, let's fill some time with least a couple of audience games. Here to play our first one is Shederick Weatherspoon Jr. (audience cheers)Shederick, you're about to play Double Cross and set the pace. Before you do, please tell us about yourself.

(audience cheers)Thank you for your service, Shederick. Now, here's how you'll play this edition of Double Cross. (models hold up dice) On our Double Cross dice, most of the sides have points ranging in value from 50 to 5. But on one side of each cube... (models flip dice to reveal crosses) ...we have a cross. You'll want to avoid those crosses. If you roll a cross, you lose that cube and you *must* roll the other cube immediately. Lose both dice to crosses in one roll or during the course of the game, you've been double crossed, you lose all your points and the game is over. So if you have a feeling you're about to get double crossed, we'll offer you $10 as a bailout. If you can score 200 points without getting double crossed, we'll augment your cash to $5000. (audience cheers)Remember, the more cash you win, the better your chances of playing for more in our final game of the day. One more thing, Shederick, in the event you're double crossed on the first roll, we do give you one chance to double cross us for $5000. (audience cheers)Only seems fair. But let's see what happens out of the gate -- because, you, Shederick, are on a roll.
Shederick, please respond with a roll code from 1-100. You'll see the result of that roll and the next ones "down the list" of rolls provided by randomizer.org.

(audience cheers as...) (Shederick rolls)Starting off with 35 points. (audience cheers)(ding)Now 35 points will translate to $350 if you stop here -- or you may roll again. (audience shouts suggestions)
Shederick, if you decide to roll again, you'll see the 56th roll from randomizer.org -- then the 57th, 58th, 59th, and so on until you decide to stop, win, or get double crossed.

(audience cheers as...) (Shederick rolls) (audience cheers)Sweet! 95 points. (ding)Total of 130. Shederick, if you can do that again, or some up with at least 70 points on the next roll, that's a win. Just watch out for the crosses, though. Stop and convert the 130 points to $1300 -- or roll again? (audience shouts suggestions)

(audience cheers)Seventy points. That's all you need. (audience cheers as Shederick claps the dice together . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . ...) (and then rolls) (audience cheers)Close -- 55. (ding)Now -- 185. Shederick, basically, if you avoid the crosses, you should meet or exceed the goal of 200 points. It's also vital to avoid even one cross. If you roll any number and a cross, you'll score points -- but you'll have to reroll the cube that awarded points. And if that reroll awards more points, that should be a win. But if the reroll results in that second cross, it's a loss. All the more reason we call this game -- Double Cross. So -- crucial decision. Do you stop and convert 185 points to $1850 -- or go for broke and roll one more time for $5000? (audience shouts suggestions)
