(TPiR overbid horn) No answer in time -- and that horn means we're running out of time in this game. Players, please take one more good look at the clues -- because we replace them... (FF reveal sfx)...with the actual solution to the puzzle -- and as you can see, it's a short three-letter word. Because of the short solution, when I say "go", two letters will randomly appear -- and then you may signal. The first player to buzz in and correctly solve the puzzle wins the game and levels up. The loser of this game unfortunately will be assessed a strike. So, players ready? Go! (ding)
(David and Immanuel, please PM me a buzz code from 1-100 and your answer.)

(David buzzes in)David for the game. David: one (audience cheers)(Doug impersonating Groucho Marx) This almost seems like asking, "Who's buried in Grant's Tomb?" (audience laughs) For the game -- is it -- one? (dings; SCSD win theme plays; audience cheers)Bingo! Now, let's bring back the clues and explain why one is the correct answer. One is an odd number. We've known that from math class. "One" is also the title of the signature song from the Broadway musical "A Chorus Line". And Cam Newton, quarterback for the Carolina Panthers, wears the number 1. (Ashley places dice near Immanuel's buzzer) So that's how you connect a quarterback and a musical to the odd number of 1. Immanuel, unfortunately, one strike against you. But you're not out until you lose two. We'll see you for the next game, Immanuel Tims. (audience cheers) (Immanuel and Ashley walk off stage arm in arm) Okay, David, finally you're on Level 1. Let's determine the top dollar value for your Big 6 word. On Level 1, this money roll is for $5000 a point. Doubles are allowed. So if the sum is 12, you're playing for up to $60,000. (audience cheers)Good luck, David, and let's see some high numbers. (audience cheers as...) (David rolls)(cha-ching) (scattered cheers) A 1 and a 3 make 4 -- for a $20,000 game of Big 6. We'll have Wally join us -- when you come back to the dice table. (audience cheers; theme plays) (theme plays)

(theme plays; audience applause) Welcome back to On A Roll. David's won a game -- and now plays Big 6 with the one and only Wally. (audience cheers)Wally, what's on your mind this Friday? (FF reveal sfx) (audience groans)I don't want to leave either -- and we'll explain what that means later. Right now, may we have the numbers for Big 6, please. (FF reveal sfx) Thanks, Wally. David, the dice faces accordingly hide the letters that spell out your Big 6 word. Much like the main game, you're going to try to uncover as many letters in the Big 6 word as you possibly can. Now, Wally's about to give us a hint. Wally, may we have the hint, please? (ding) It's Tasty. Now, much like the earlier game, you get four rolls of the dice. What's different here is if you roll two different numbers, you may only take one of the two numbers you rolled -- and you can never play the sum. So if you rolled a 2 and a 3, you could have Wally reveal the second letter or the third letter -- but not the fifth letter. After your first roll, if you can correctly solve the Big 6 word, you win... (ding) (audience cheers)...$20,000. But if you need a second roll, the value of the word drops to $5000. Each additional roll cuts the money in half. Regardless of value, you must solve the word correctly to have a chance to play for more money in Lucky 7. (Ashley hands David dice) So, you've got the rules and the dice, David. You -- are on a roll. (audience cheers as...) (David rolls)And you're starting with the choice of the third or sixth letter.

(buzz buzz)Doesn't want to try it. Okay, for $5000, you're still on a roll. (audience cheers as...) (David rolls)And it's a 1 and a 3. You've just played the 3. So, Wally, first letter, please. (ding)It's a G. That should help. For $5000, what is this Big 6 word?

(scattered groans) Hey, maybe it's a reference to Golden Flake potato chips. (scattered laughter from crowd) For five large, is this word -- GOLDEN? (buzz)No. That's not it. We're down to a $2500 payoff now. (audience cheers as...) (David rolls)And it's a 1 and a 5. You just played the 1. So, Wally, fifth letter, please. (ding)It's a T. Every other letter's a consonant. For $2500, what is this Big 6 word?

(scattered groans) (buzz buzz) Okay. Last roll coming up. You'll need this last roll to include an even number -- and of course, you'll need to avoid doubles -- in order to have a chance at Lucky 7. (audience cheers as...) (David rolls)A 5 and a 6. This work. Gotta play the 6. (ding)First vowel we've seen -- an O. Last chance for $1250, David, what is this Big 6 word?

(audience cheers)By jove, I think we've got a winner here. For $1250, Wally, is this tasty word -- GELATO? (dings; SCSD win theme plays; audience cheers)Bingo! $1250 more in your coffer -- with a chance at more at Lucky 7. Wally, please set us up. (FF reveal sfx) Thanks, Wally. David, here's how Lucky 7 works. Wally will give you a certain number of chances to roll any sum of 7 on the dice. But before Wally sets the timer, we need to find out what is at stake. All you have to do is pick a letter in the word "lucky". Since you're on Level 1, those lucky letters hide different amounts of cash of up to $100,000. (audience cheers)So, please pick a letter.

The minimum cash prize, by the way, is $25,000. So top dollar here is definitely going to be more than $20,000. How much higher? (cha-ching) (audience cheers)You're playing for $32,000. (alarm goes off) Wally's now activating the shutdown timer -- calculating the maximum number of rolls you'll have based on the value you found against the values of the prizes you left behind. So this means you'll have... (ding) ...a maximum of five rolls to roll any sum of 7. Each time you don't roll a 7, you'll win your sum in hundreds of dollars. Doubles are worse here; they're worthless *and* will cause an automatic shutdown of the game. So, ready to get back on a roll, David, for $32,000?

Good news is you did pick up a nice piece of change coming into Level 1. So your total winnings right now are... (FF reveal sfx) (audience cheers) ...$19,150 in cash and merchandise. We'll be back with a special announcement and another game -- when you come back to the dice table. (theme plays; audience cheers)

Tiffany: Closed captioning provided by... (audience cheers) Welcome back to On A Roll. Before we start another game, we have a special announcement. This is our season finale and our final episode of OAR from Television City. (audience groans)As you know, Price and many other CBS shows are relocating production elsewhere in Southern California. We will have to follow suit. So while we pack our bags, you'll be seeing the best of OAR in this time slot until our fall premiere. Also this summer, we have an OAR primetime special lined up from fabulous Las Vegas. (audience cheers)Bet that pepped up your spirits. Later in this show, time permitting, we'll have a preview of our OAR primetime special. So the best is yet to come, all right? Right now, let's play an elimination game. David, Immanuel, you each have one loss against you. So the next loss means we say goodbye to one of you. Play carefully -- as we start with this name game. (FF reveal sfx)Here comes a ten-letter answer to this question. Who helped America get on a roll? (ding)
(David and Immanuel, please PM me a buzz code from 1-100 and your answer.)

(David buzzes in) David? David: Washington (dings; audience cheers)George Washington -- he certainly helped get the U.S. of A. on a roll. As for some other Washington -- well. (scattered laughter from crew) Some stories are best saved for the season-ending wrap party. David, please step into the box. Four rolls of the dice are yours. Before you roll, we need to load in a new board. (FF reveal sfx; Havana poses by board)And we'll tell you that our friend in the biz, Bill McDee, wrote this, what will become, our final puzzle here at Television City. David, with that, you, are on a roll. (audience cheers as...) (David rolls)Starting low with a 1 and a 3... ...or a 4. NOTE FROM DOUG: Due to further forecasted storms in my neighborhoods, deadlines will be relaxed for at least this round of dice rolls.
