We play our front game on these sets of arches that you see behind me. This is a race, and we'll explain more about how that works but first, let's meet and greet our 2 contestants for today, one of whom could wind up winning over $25,000 in cash PLUS drive home in a new Cadillac! So two midwesterners going at it today, Iowa vs Minnesota! Good luck to you Nels and let's begin our game. The player who is the champion usually goes first, but as this is our very first episode, the first player who signed up will play the champion's arch in gold up above and that is you Matt. And by answering questions correctly, you will earn moves across the arch. And the goal is to get to that final station at the end of the arch and then answer the final Strike It Rich question. The first player to do that wins the game, and goes on to play for up to $25,000 in cash and possibly that new Cadillac as well! Matt, the first category is yours...and it is...  SHOW BIZ CANINES. Matt, you get to decide how many questions this contract is worth. You can go for 1, 2 or 3 questions Matt, what's your pleasure? |

Yes indeed it was Charles Schulz, a man who literally worked for Peanuts! That Bandit is hopping around and looking for a hiding place on our board. Matt you have earned up to 3 moves across your arch. In this first window there will either be a cash award or the Bandit. If you hit the Bandit along the way, any unbanked cash awards are lost as well as control of the game. Should you have a fear of the Bandit, you will always have the option to bank any cash that is at risk, but that in turn forfeits control of the game to your opponent. However, any cash banked by our players is theirs to keep, regardless of the outcome of the game. There's a potential total of $3,000 in cash up for grabs for each player, with a house minimum of $500 for a win if the player has less than that amount when answering the final Strike it Rich question. Okay let's see what's in that first window for you Matt... (reveal sound effect)  $250 there for you Matt. You can bank that and give up control, or we can see what's in that next window. Do you want to bank it or gamble? |
