Okay, going for it! Over $1,000 at risk, and as there's only one position remaining between you and the final Strike It Rich question Nels, your contract will automatically be one question in this subject: Football and we have listed this time New York Jets, Cleveland Browns, Arizona Cardinals, Miami Dolphins, Houston Texans. Here is your one question. Which of these current NFL Franchises was once part of the All-American Football Conference?

Along with the San Francisco 49ers and the Baltimore (now Indianapolis) Colts...well done! The bandit is jumping around, down to a coin flip basically, 50 50 chance... Let's strike it! OH NO! He got you, and your $1,050 too. The money you banked is still yours, safe and sound, and you have made it to the end of the arch to the final Strike it Rich question station but, the bandit getting you means we now go back upstairs to Matt...who needs two more moves to reach the end himself... And a new category... Super Heroes this time Matt, Aquaman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Incredible Hulk and Spider-Man.....will you be going for one or two questions this time Matt?

Correctamundo! The bandit is jumping around, looking for a hiding spot. He has now found it, and you're hoping he is NOT in this first monitor... $450 Matt. Do you want to bank that or gamble?

50 50 chance, if the Bandit is in this monitor, you lose $450 and control, if not, you'll have a decision to make. Let's strike it! Alright! Matt you have $1,200 on the board now. And you have reached the final Strike it Rich question. If you go for that question and get it right, you'll win the game plus another $1,200. If you go for that question and get it wrong, you'll lose the $1,200 and control of the game will pass to Nels. If you bank the $1,200, it will be yours no matter what, but you'll also give up control to Nels, and he too is at the final Strike it Rich question... (theme playing) We'll find out what Matt decides to do, right after these words!

We are back to this very exciting opening game. A very well played match between Matt and Nels, and we broke away at a very crucial moment. Matt, you've made it to the final Strike it Rich question. If you go for it and get it right, you'll add $1,200 to your winnings and win the game. If you miss it, you will lose $1,200 and control. Nels is also at the final question. If you want to Matt, you can bank that $1,200 which would be yours guaranteed but control would go to Nels again. So do you want to bank $1,200 or do you want to go for the final Strike it Rich question Matt?

That's right! Nels you've just won the game! (Win cue) What a fantastic opening game players! Well Matt, darn it all, if you had gone with Ruby instead of Emerald...sounds like I'm talking about the Wizard of Oz. But you're hardly leaving us empty handed. $1,100 that you banked is yours to keep, along with some very nice parting gifts as well! Matt, thanks for playing such an outstanding game and putting up such a tremendous fight! (Cheering and applause) Man oh man, when you have such a great and tight game like this one, you really hate to see either player finish second, but that's the nature of the game. Nels, $1,450 is yours already, and you could add up to $25,000 more in cash, and maybe, just maybe, drive out of here in a new Cadillac valued at well over $80,000! Our Strike It Rich Bonus Game will begin, right after this!

(fade into applause) Nels Snesrud has already struck it rich, $1,450 thus far and now a chance at a bundle more, up to $25,000 in cash could be yours AND... If your intuition and luck are perfect, you could also be driving home in this... All new for 2023, the Cadillac Escalade SUV, ride in quite comfort and luxury, includes many safety features, tax and license... $83,950! Okay Bill! Let's have a gander at the bonus board, shall we? Inspired by our friends at Tic Tac Dough, we have a 3 by 3 grid with the numbers one through nine. Incidentally, there were no dragons harmed in the making of this board. (TTD Reveal cue) Behind 3 of the numbers will always be our logo, the dollar sign. That's what you're after. Behind 3 of the numbers are those dreaded strikes. You want NO part of them! Accumulate 3 strikes and you are out! Score 5 dollar signs before you get 3 strikes and you will win a big bonus cash prize. If you score 5 dollar signs after you accumulate 2 strikes, you'll win a bonus of $10,000. 5 dollar signs and only 1 strike will win you $15,000. 5 dollar signs with NO strikes will be a $20,000 pay off, plus any other cash you pick up along the way. Now you'll notice 3 of the boxes have question marks in them. If you uncover one of them, you'll have a choice of 5 special categories. After you select one, I will ask you a question. All questions have only 2 possible answers. Pick the correct answer, and you'll score a dollar sign. If you're wrong however, that's a strike. If you play a perfect game, meaning you get nothing but dollar signs during each of your first five tries, not only will you win the money in the pot plus $20,000, but you'll drive out of here in that Cadillac as well! One other thing I want to caution you of Nels. If indeed you get a third strike before you reach 5 dollar signs, you will still get to keep any money in the pot BUT... (Bandit laugh). Once you do reach 2 strikes in this game, we will replace one of those strikes on the board with that nasty old Bandit. If you pick him, you will lose all of your bonus winnings, but your main game money is safe. So once you reach 2 strikes, and assuming you have any money in your pot, I'll give you the option to quit and take the cash or to gamble, okay? Now we'll shuffle up the dollar signs, the question marks and the strikes on the board. Meantime I'm presenting you with 12 lettered envelopes to choose from Nels. Behind each is a various cash award ranging from $500 all the way up to $1,250. Select one letter and if you score a dollar sign, that money will go into the pot, and we'll go on from there. What letter looks good?

My birth month, and also D for my middle initial! $550 is what you will add to the pot if you uncover either a dollar sign, or uncover a question card and get the question correct. Above all else, avoid those strikes Nels. Select a number if you'd please.

Come on 3 show us that first Dollar Sign please! (reveal sound effect) Okay that's a question card. The car is out of play unfortunately Nels but still playing for the potential for over $20,000 here. For your first dollar sign and $550 you must correct answer a question in one of these five categories: Before or After Multiple Choice Over or Under Survey Question True or False Before or After is I will name an event or something that took place. We will tell you the incorrect year and you must decide if the right answer was before or after the year given. Multiple Choice is a question about any subject with 2 possible answers. Over or Under, I will read a statement and give you an incorrect number associated with that statement. You will then have to correctly decide if the right answer is over or under the number given. The Survey Question, I will read the question and post two answers that people said. You must determine which answer was said by MORE people in order to win a dollar sign. Finally True or False, pretty self explanatory there, I'll read you a statement, and if you correctly tell me whether said statement is true or false, you'll score a dollar sign. Which category do you want Nels?

Very good, behind the correct answer is a dollar sign, behind the wrong answer is a strike. Here's your question Nels... EMANUEL LEUTZE CREATED A VERY FAMOUS PAINTING OF GEORGE WASHINGTON AND HIS TROOPS CROSSING THE DELAWARE RIVER. ON WHAT DATE DID GENERAL WASHINGTON MAKE THAT FAMOUS CROSSING? Was it December 24th 1776, or December 25th 1776?

Very well, let's find out. Did Washington make that famous crossing on Christmas NIGHT 1776? YES he DID! A Dollar Sign means a right answer Nels! And the way I remember this fact was my 6th grade history teacher taught us that Washington and his troops had to wait until Christmas night, because if they had gone on Christmas Eve, they would not have been able to receive their Christmas gifts from Santa! Silly I know but it helped us remember! (double ding) One dollar sign on your way to five. Nels the information has all been reshuffled and redistributed. What number do you take? You can take 3 again if you wish to, entirely up to you.
