Bill McDee is closing in on $100,000 in winnings. The first game will be a rubber match against Kourtney Wilson. I need a standby for the second game, and we'll get started.

Let's get started...
Debra Wilson: The NBC television network proudly presents...
Concentration!
And now, please welcome our star, Kevin Kolsen!
Me: Thank you, Debra! Welcome once again to Concentration. If you've been watching us for the past couple of shows, we've had a player so dominant that even we can't keep up with him. I'll introduce him and his upcoming challenger before we get to our game.
We welcome back Bill McDee, our returning champion. You've won, listen to this number, $97,473!
*cheers and applause*
I was beginning to think you weren't going to get that last puzzle. What was going through your mind there?

Well truthfully, key elements were concealed for me til almost the bitter end, and that first symbol, the cape, threw me for a loop as it was by itself.
Had it been on Batman and arrows pointing to it, I might have figured that part out sooner, but in retrospect Kevin, I'm glad I didn't because my word, that last win was so huge!
I've been a fan of Concentration from the time I was 5, now I'm almost 56. And although I wasn't alive in the 50s or 60s, I look up to Concentration champ Ralph Branca who won the maximum 20 games on the original series. Ralph was also a pitcher for the Brooklyn Dodgers and the one who famously served up the "Shot Heard Round the World" to Bobby Thompson of the New York Giants to lose the NL Pennant in 1951.

You may have picked that up. Some clues here are obvious, but part of the challenge is figuring out how the other symbols tie in. You kept us on our toes there. Maybe you can match Mr. Branca's performance here. What a time to be alive when the Dodgers were in Brooklyn, though.
We'll also say hi to Kourtney Wilson. He lost one game, but we allow all challengers to play two games before we retire them. Kourtney, how have you been?

I have been good. Couldn’t get it together this past game, hopefully I will do better this game.

That’s what that first game is for. You had the practice last time, so this time it really counts. I’ll give each player two and two to collect their bearings. Concentration will be right back!

We have a rebus ready to go. Ten prizes are up on that board, including this: Debra?
Debra: Something to spice up your holiday: a Christmas tree! The Balsam Hill Fraser Fir Flip Tree measures 7 1/2 feet in height, making it a perfect fit in any family room. Designed to capture the color and style of the natural namesake, it comes with dozens customizable light patterns with its numerous bulbs. Plus, setting it up is a breeze with no more heavy lifting and tangled branches: $2,249!
Me: We have seasons just like Wheel of Fortune. This may be the last time you see a prize like this until next October! How about we get started?
Good luck to both of you as Bill decides for us who gets to pick first.

The 19th would be an unbirthday for me. Just don't let the Mad Hatter know.
In any event, a trip to Singapore is on the line. Pick again, Kourtney.

Gold Take. Remember where those were as we turn them back over.
We'll see if your gambit pays off, Bill. Which number?

A drone. Fun to play with, but not to eat. Turn those away.
Try it again, Kourtney.

Let's hope for a natural match or one of those 4 (I'm guessing) wild cards under a logical choice, #2.
