HELLO! This is Dayo, and first of all, I want to wish my father a Happy Birthday, and the second part is that Uno, the most popular card game, has turned 50 years old of being Wild! And as such, for this episode, we're going to celebrate by me hosting the 50th Anniversary Edition of Uno: The Game Show! Some notes are in order. 1. This is Episode 4 of the series, and if you haven't seen the last episode, you should go check it now.2. Matt Ringgenberg is our current champion with $130,425 in cash and prizes. 3. gameshowfandanny and (Patrick) are not allowed to participate as they have played from the last episode. 4. The Grand Progressive Jackpot currently stands at $1,600,000. 5. The Clean Sweep Bonus is at $3000, while the All Rounds Cleared Jackpot is at $15,000. 6. For this episode, and ONLY this episode, the top prize is going to be $50,000,000! Now, we're going to talk to you guys in a little bit, but first, let's play the game! And whenever there's a game, there's some rules! And the rules goes a little bit of something like this: The main object of the game is to score points, as well as cash and prizes, by eliminating all of the cards in your hand first before your opponents do. Before each round begins, our players will have their cards dealt by our referees during the commercial break. They know their cards, but they don't know their opponents' cards, and a good way to win the round is to study your foes, as well as studying the cards. Now, before the show began, a new team of Lab Rats from Tandem Technologies, a RANDOM.ORG company, were the ones responsible of shuffling the cards for 2 minutes non-stop before sealing the deck and giving to them to Mari. She then unsealed the deck, and one of our producers, at random, give the deck a good cut. In fact, speaking of cards, each player has 7 cards to begin with at the start of each round, like the normal game. BUT! Here's something exclusive that we, and only we people do here on Uno: The Game Show, and that's by giving you players a Head Start! (Audience Oohs)In other words, before you even begin playing the cards, you have a chance to discard all BUT ONE of your cards from your hand. And the way we do that is by answering questions. I have 3 questions in my hand, players, and after giving out the Multiple-Choices and then the question, you will then buzz-in. You will have 24 hours to answer the question the moment you buzz-in, and we must accept your first response. If you're right, not only you'll score 100 points, but you'll also get to discard 2 cards from your hand and our referees will put them at the bottom of the deck. But be careful, because if you're wrong, you'll get to add 1 more card to your hand, and the other players can buzz in and steal. So, you can start the round with as little as 1 card, or as much as 10. And now, here's a little twist! [1] [2] [3] [4] [5] [6] [7] [8] [9] [10] [11] [12] In front of you is a board with 12 numbers and behind each of them are numbers 1-4 and a WILD card. I'll talk about the WILD card when someone picks it. Whatever number is revealed, we'll multiply that by $50 and that's the value of how much that question will be when you get it right. Matt, since you are our defending champion, you'll get to start us off by choosing one of the 12 numbers on the board.

CLEAN SWEEP BONUS: $3000 ALL ROUNDS CLEARED JACKPOT: $15,000(Bell Clangs)During the Headstart Portion of the round, if any one player answers all the questions correctly, including the one question for control of the round, then that's a Clean Sweep, and will earn the Bonus of what's in there. It starts at $2,500 and increases the Pot by $500 each time it isn't won, and since all 3 players got one question right, the Clean Sweep Bonus is now at $3,000. And if one of you players win all 4 rounds of the Main Game, and you'll get the All Rounds Cleared Jackpot, which starts at $10,000, and it will increase by $2,500 every time it isn't won. Right now, it's at $15,000. Now that I got that out of the way, we've finished the Headstart Portion of the Round, which everyone has 5 cards. Also, Shederick has $200, and William and Matt have $150 each, and any cash score they get will be theirs to keep, no matter what happens. Now, we're about to deal out the cards, but first, let's explain on how this main portion of the round works. And also, here's a video to those of you who don't know what UNO is about. The traditional rules of UNO is applied, which a card can be covered with the same number or the same color, or a Wild card. If you don't have a match or if you don't want to play, you must draw a card from the top of the deck. From there, you can play that card or pass (if you can't or if you want to, that's up to you). If you could play and chose to draw a card though, you can't play another card than the one you've just drawn. Now, in addition to all of the numbered cards in the deck, there are 32 Action cards in the deck: 8 Skip, 8 Reverse, 8 Draw +2, 4 Wild and 4 Wild Draw +4 cards. For the first round, only 14 of them will be used: 4 Skip, 4 Reverse, 4 Draw +2, 1 Wild and 1 Wild Draw +4 to make things fair. But that will change when the 2nd and 3rd round and the Head-to-Head Showdown, the Wild Card Championship round occurs. We'll talk about that later. That's a total of 90 cards to deal with, and since that we have 15 of them out in the open... SHEDERICK <-----> WILLIAM <-----> MATT

DRAW PILE: 75 ...there are 75 cards left in the Draw pile, and that is actually important, because if the Draw pile is empty, or if time runs out, or if any one of you plays the last card (after doing the Golden Rule), then the round ends, and the scoring system will come into play. SCORING:0-9 = 0-9 Points Skip = 20 Points Reverse = 20 Points Draw +2 = 20 Points Wild / Wild Draw Four = 50 Points PRIZES:0-9 = $0-$900 Cash Skip, Reverse, Draw +2 = PRIZE Wild / Wild Draw Four = LUXURY PRIZE That will come into effect to the one lucky player who finishes the hand in that round. However, if, in any round, we're out of time or the Draw pile is empty, the round ends, then the player with the least amount of cards is the winner. He will be awarded with 100 points, along with the additional points from his own hand, but the total will then be deducted from each of the opponents' hands, and the winner wins remaining points and 100 times that total in cash. Now, we need to find out who gets to start this round, and in order to do that, I have one more question here, and this is for control of the round. Be careful when you play the Wild Draw Four card, my friends. That card cannot be used properly if you can play colored card instead, because if you choose to do so, your victim can check your hand and even expose it all to everyone out there, and to you folks at home as well, to see if you had the right to use it. If you were right to do so, then the victim must draw SIX cards instead of four. (Audience Oohs)But if you did it wrong, YOU have to take four cards instead of your opponent. (Louder Oohs)And of course, players, we have the Golden Rule: Whenever you have one card left in your hand at any time, you MUST say... Audience: UNO!Because if your opponent does that before you, you MUST draw two cards from the pile. Assuming that you are unable to play/discard your last card and needs to draw, but after drawing, is then able to play/discard that penultimate card, you have to repeat the action of calling out “UNO”. The bottom line is – Announcing “UNO” needs to be repeated every time you are left with one card. So Matt, are you going to take the first card from the Draw Pile to play first, or would you like Shederick to do that?
