I love how Frank gives out the wrong zip code.

Wow, I hadn't realized. I could swear when I researched it that was the zip code given. Unless you mean I omitted the 4 digit suffix perhaps?
Anyway, I posted the following in the Vacation thread:
Hi Gang!
I'll try to copy & paste this message in all the games in which I'm involved.
I will have limited access today, tomorrow, a bit more access on Sunday and probably not at all on Monday.
Here's what's going on.
Today after I get done work at 2pm, my son and his high school team have their final away match of the season. They've thankfully already had their final home match on Wednesday. By the time we get home, have dinner and such, I'll probably be ready to go to sleep, so I won't be on at all most likely in the afternoon. I will try to check for updates from work during the day today (Friday Feb. 6th).
Tomorrow morning my son has his Saturday morning junior bowling league which I'll go to watch most likely. In the event that I do not, I'll perhaps be on here limited on Saturday morning. Saturday evening he and I are bowling in a tournament from 6pm til 8pm. After that, I'll be coming home and going to sleep.
Sunday, February 8th I will be on sporadically at best. My son has a big chapter test coming up in his geometry class, so I'll be devoting time to helping him review for that.
Monday, February 9th will be more time preparing for his geometry test which is on Tuesday, February 10th.
So today (Friday), tomorrow (Saturday Feb. 7th), Sunday, February 8th and Monday, February 9th, I will probably have limited access at best those days.
This is one reason why there has not been a Gambit P.M. announcement for episode 9 as yet. I like to get all the questions loaded, all the boards prepared ahead of time, but rest assured, there will be more Gambit P.M.!
Thank you,
Bill

(applause) I welcome you all back. Well we're at half time and we have a really good tight match here today, Michael and Matt, each with $950, Mark at $625. More than $5,000 could be won during the last 2 questions rounds, but first, right now, $5,000 in bonus cash could be won by one of these three fine contestants, as it's time for our "Big Match". If any of you wins the $5,000, it is yours to keep no matter what, however, it will NOT affect your present score money. Michael, in a moment you will have first pick off of the board. Hidden behind 10 of the boxes are pictures of an empty safe. If you select one, Matt will select next. If Matt finds an empty safe, then Mark will pick. If all 3 of you do, then during the second round of this Big Match, Matt will go first, then Mark, then Michael, finally if after 6 picks nobody has found either half of the $5,000 bill, we'll do one more round, with Mark going first, then Michael, finally Matt. Should any of you find either the front half or the back half of the $5,000 bill, we'll stop the proceedings. The one of you who finds either half will then have a 1 out of 3 chance of finding the other half and winning $5,000. Michael, as current champion, you have the privilege of selecting first...And in this round only players, you may uncover all 4 boxes in a single column. Michael, please call out a number and a color, and good luck as you try to sniff out one of the 2 halves of that $5,000 bill.

(Actually in the home stretch of things that I had to do so I'll resume) 30 on the Yellow for Matt... (flip) (gasps) Well well, you found one half of that $5,000 bill Matt. Now we'll flip all but 3 boxes over... (flipping) The other half of that $5,000 bill is either under 20 on the Green, 30 on the Blue, or 40 on the Red. You will get to select just 1 box Matt. Find that other half, and it's $5,000 in bonus cash for you. Which box do you select?

Post by billmcdee on Feb 10, 2015 6:22:16 GMT -5
If 40 on the Red has the other half, you will win a $5,000 bonus, not affecting the score of the game. If it doesn't, you won't win anything additional unfortunately. Let's find out. For $5,000 in bonus cash.... 40 on the Red... (flip) YES!!! (applause) FIVE-THOUSAND DOLLARS!!! Very well done Matt Ringgenberg! That $5,000 is yours to keep no matter what. $950 in score money, co-leader, plus the Men's Parka & the Home Gym, already having a sensational day, even if you end up not winning this match! Time to resume with our game play. Two more question rounds contestants. This time, $1,250 for an instant match at the big board. Two other things to keep in mind. 1 we have a REPLAY card among the money cards during these last two question rounds. Also there's the "Double Your Dollars" bonus attached now to one of the items so one turn could add as much as $5,000 to your score! So let's see what happens. Players, lock in your codes... Michael with 29, Matt 59 and Mark 87. Let's see what the question board says and who it picks to go first... The HIGH number, so Mark, this time you get to go first on this next question... Much to the delight of fans of the 1966 television series "Batman", of whom I am one, last November, the television series finally came out on DVD. Cesar Romero as Joker, Burgess Meredith as Penguin, Julie Newmar & Eartha Kitt as Catwoman, Frank Gorshin & John Astin as Riddler, were among just a few of the tremendous guest star villains. Other, lesser-known villains, were also showcased on the television series at least once. One of these four villains listed did NOT appear on the Batman television series from the 1960s. Mark, to select 2 money cards and earn a trip to the matching board, which you definitely need to since you're behind right now, identify for me the one villain listed that did NOT appear on the 1960s Batman television series. Was it Egghead, Chandel, Two Face or Minerva that did NOT appear, Mark?

One of the stations in my area just started airing reruns of this series a few months back, and I have seen some of the episodes that have been shown. Therefore, I am pretty sure that the one who did not appear as a villain is Two Face.

Mark that is correct! (applause) There was False Face however (sorry I didn't have time to post visuals here) RED, GREEN, YELLOW, BLUE, ORANGE That correct answer entitles you to select 2 of these 5 money cards. Remember, hidden behind one of them is a REPLAY card. Which 2 do you select Mark?

Well, no "REPLAY" card Mark, but $400 which we add to your score.... That puts you in the lead for the moment and now we go to the big board... No more "Instant Prizes", but those 2 "Turnover?" cards are lurking, as is the "No Match" card. An instant match is worth $1,250 and could be worth double, if the "Double Your Dollars" card is attached to the item you match first. Mark, please select your first 2 boxes.

Here is 40 on the Blue... (flip) Animal board this time. 30 on the Yellow next... (flip) (audience gasps) Mark, there may be a chimpanzee somewhere in the 20 column. If there is, and you select it on this next pick, you'll add $1,250 to your score, possibly another $1,250 if the "DOUBLE YOUR DOLLARS" card is attached to the chimp, you'll win the Instant Match jackpot of $3,300 in cash and prizes, and if you should wind up winning today's match, you'll automatically play for $50,000 in cash plus a new automobile in the BONU$ BUCK$ end game. So potentially a LOT at stake on this next pick of the board Mark. Look it over, and select your next box, and good luck!

This is a big one...20 on the Green... (flip) OH MY!!!!! (cheers & applause) Mark, with that instant match, you just earned another $1,250 in score money PLUS you won for yourself the Instant Match jackpot, which is $2,000 in cash, plus the designer sunglasses and the camping equipment, a total of $3,300 cash and prizes. That $3,300 does not affect the score money. Now we're going to reveal the box in the 30 column. If the DOUBLE YOUR DOLLARS is attached to the Chimp, you'll add yet another $1,250 in SCORE money to your total... (flip) (wild cheers & applause) BOY OH BOY OH BOY!!! Mark, by virtue of that, you have really catapulted yourself into the lead with $3,525 in score money! That car key lit on your podium indicates that if you end up winning this match, not only will you dethrone TWO champions, but you'll automatically play for $50,000 and a new car in the Bonus Bucks endgame! Quite exciting, but in spite of the huge lead for Mark, this game is FAR from over. We have one more question to play, one more REPLAY card somewhere, and of course a DOUBLE YOUR DOLLARS bonus attached to one of the items that match on the final big board, not to mention those 2 TURNOVER? cards, so it's STILL anybody's game to be sure... I don't know about you players, or you watching out there, but I'm having a ton of fun here! Time for our players to lock in their final 2 digit codes... Michael with 90, Matt with 36, Mark with 75. Let's see what the board says... LOW number goes first. Matt, that would be you, and you of course want to get this... Have a look at the board... McDonald's continues to expand their menu choices, but one of the fast food's mainstays has been the Big Mac sandwich. Listed above me are 4 ingredients. Three of these ingredients comprise part of the Big Mac recipe, however one does not. Matt, for 2 picks of money cards and all important control of the big matching board, which ingredient is NOT a part of the Big Mac sandwich?

Red and Green... $300 and the Replay! (applause) First let's add $300 to your score Matt... Now up to $1,250. You trail Mark by $2,275. If you make a match here Matt, even if it takes all 7 picks, you'll get to play another board, by virtue of uncovering the replay card. Again a couple of reminders, the replay is only played if someone makes a match. Also, if any player loses control of the board by uncovering one of the "TURNOVER?" cards, then by selecting the "YES" card, if anyone else makes a match, then THAT player will get to play a second board. Matt, if you uncover a turnover followed by a yes, Michael will then get to continue the board you started, assuming a match can still be made. There is the big board Matt, please select 2 boxes to begin, in the order in which you'd like for us to reveal them.
