40 on the Green for a match?? (flip) (audience stirs) You'll notice Matt, there's a question mark after the word "Turn Over". You will select either top or bottom. If you select "YES", your turn will end and control will pass to Michael as he has the next lowest score. If you select "NO", you'll keep control and we'll reveal the picture behind the turn over card. Top or Bottom Matt?

Hoping for a "NO"....let's light up the bottom... (audience moans) I'm so sorry Matt. Control of the board is now turned over to you Michael, as you have the lowest score of you and Mark. This means Michael, you still have 4 picks to work with... 40 on the Green is still in play if you want that box, or you can select another if you wish. We have 40 on the Green marked differently so you'll know that was previously picked, and the Turn Over card that was there is now out of play. Still one more lurking on the board somewhere, so be careful Michael. Do you want to see what's under 40 on the Green, or take another box instead Michael?

40 on the Blue he selects... (flip) A sailor cap there Michael. Now going for $500. Still one turnover card on the board, we know it's somewhere in the 30 column. Also both instant prize cards are still lurking as well. Where to next Michael?

40 on the Green, as opposed to Tavern on the Green... (mild chuckling from the audience) (flip) Cowboy hat there. 2 picks left. If you go for the straw hat in the 40 column and reveal the top hat instead, then no match will be possible as that 40 column would then be closed, and subsequently, no match would be possible. So a 50/50 chance there. With that knowledge Michael, how do you want to play this? Where to now?

40 on the Red for a match... (flip) You got it! (applause) And since it was on the 6th pick, that is another $375 for you Michael, puts you in the lead now. Let's look at the straw hat in the 30 column. We're going to flip it and see if the $500 bonus match was attached to that... (flip) (groans) So sorry Michael, the bonus was not there that time, but... You're now in front. We saw how the turnover works, but no instant prizes that time. This is the last board with a chance at 2 of those instant prizes gang. Contestants, type in your numeric codes please... Michael at a big 99, Matt at 66 in the middle, and Mark, 54 is the low number. Let's see what the board tells us... The HIGH number gets first shot at the question this time, Michael that would be you. "Three on a Match" first aired on NBC back in the early 1970s. A great many other game shows and daytime dramas have also aired over the many decades here on the peacock network. Somerset, Search for Tomorrow, Another World, The Edge of Night. Three of these answers match the category "Former NBC Soaps". One of these 4 soap operas however never aired on N.B.C. To win control of the money cards, and earn the next trip to the big matching board Michael, identify for me which of these soap operas did NOT air on NBC.

Let's see. Is it the "Edge of Night"? That's the one! (applause) Edge of Night was on CBS and later ABC, and I believe it ran from 1956 - 1984. Well done Michael. In a moment, back to the big matching board with you, but first... For getting the question right immediately, you've earned TWO picks of the 5 money cards above me. Select two colors. They are Red, Green, Yellow, Blue and Orange. I simply point that out in case for some reason the visuals aren't working for some folks playing or watching.

Green and Red ay? Either you're still in the Christmas spirit, or you love traffic lights Actually Green for your Eagles and Red for your Red Sox. Let's see what money is there... $50 and $150, so $200 for that correct answer...we add that to your score Michael... Brings your total up to $950 for the moment. Now a chance to increase your score by perhaps as much as $1,250 more. Two "Instant Prize" cards up there, two "Turnover?" cards too. If you do turn the board over Michael, Matt will then take over control, so stand by Matt, just in case. Michael, please select your first 2 boxes, and good luck.

20 on the Yellow... (flip) Card suits this time around. 30 on the Red next please... (flip) And a Club. The Instant Match Jackpot is out of play, but still trying for $625 and a possible $500 bonus. Both instant prizes, both "Turnover?" cards and the No Match card all still up there someplace. Where to now Michael?

40 on the Green it is... (flip) Very nice, another Club Michael. Just a reminder, there MAY be a club in the 20 column. We can't know for certain as the "No Match" card is still lurking about. With that in mind Michael, still trying for a possible $625 as well as a possible $500 bonus, which box do you select next?

20 on the Blue for a match... (flip) (flip) Ut oh, looks like it's stuck again. We're going to need to oil this box during the break fellas! (helping it along) Ut oh! (audience reacts) Could we have our first turn over on Super Bowl Sunday take place BEFORE the big game? Michael, one of those slides says "YES!", one says "NO!". You want to find the no. If you select yes, your turn will be over, and you will turn control of the matching board over to Matt, since he has the lowest score at the moment. Michael, select either top or bottom, and we'll find out if you keep control or not.

And the bottom says... (audience groans) Yes. Michael, I'm sorry but you have lost your turn. Turnabout is perhaps fair play however... Matt, control of the matching board now belongs to you. You'll get that one pick back, and we'll indicate that 40 on the Blue was selected. You can stick with that if you wish, or select something else... What box do you select Matt?

20 on the Green, going for a Club match... (flip) Instant Prize! (applause) Matt, you are the first winner of an instant prize, yours to keep no matter what. Frank, tell Matt what he's just won... (original Three on a Match theme playing in the background...gosh how I wish I could find a clean version of it) Frank Caliendo (as Don Pardo) - Glad to Bill... Frank Caliendo (as Don Pardo): This instant prize is a men's coat! From Patagonia, it's the Bays 3 in 1 men's parka. Hooded, wind- and weather-resistant DWR-treated GORE-TEX® 3-layer nylon exterior shell with a zip-out jacket insulated with Traceable Down Retail value, $750. Congratulations! (applause) Congrats to you indeed Matt. Now everybody has a prize! Winning that prize doesn't affect your money score of course, but if 20 on the Green has that third club, that certainly shall... The Instant Prize box reveals... (flip) (groans from the audience) Well, dog gone it, that Spade means you not only didn't find that third club, but the 20 column is now closed. Two picks remaining Matt, and you'll need 'em both if you hope to achieve a match now. Which box next?
