I'll roll again. Already got two sevens in a row so I don't think I'll get another.

(audience cheers)More dollars are headed for your coffers. (ding)Kevin's now up to $3000. Matt, the champ, still at $1050. We're quickly at Round 5. We have just this, Round 6 and the catch-up to go. Strangely enough, I remember an old Simpsons episode making that reference. I'll say before.

Well -- my card says the FDA approved Viagra in 1998. So "after" is the right answer. Matt, break for you. You win the question by default. Dice are hot for your free roll. (Matt rolls)And you're starting with a 6 for $600. Now a double could add as much as $3000 to the pot if you're feeling daring. But beware of that 7. What do you want to do, Matt? Bank the 600 or roll again? (audience shouts suggestions)

The Dakotas are right. (audience applause) All right, a lot of ground to make up, Matt. Let's see if you can do it -- starting with the free roll. (Matt rolls)And -- good thing this is the free roll. The 7's normally a bust -- but on the free roll, it does seed the pot with $700. Matt, do keep in mind, as long as you *don't* bank $1950 exactly, we have the catch-up round next. And no lead is safe in said catch-up round -- whether it's yours or Kevin's. With that said -- bank the $700 or roll again?

(audience cheers)Banking two dozen $100 bills. (ding) (tones sound)And there's the signal for the catch-up round. Here's how the catch-up works. Kevin, since you're trailing by $450, you'll roll first. Matt, if necessary, you'll roll next. Unless a player finds extra or free rolls from the double decision board, each player gets only one roll of the dice -- and the value of the roll is immediately banked. A roll of a 7 still counts as a bust in the catch-up round. You won't lose anything since we're not building a pot -- but you don't gain anything either. With the double decision board still active, we need to reshuffle it. (amounts are shuffled on the double decision board; after shuffling stops, the amounts are covered immediately with the doubles)We attached extra rolls to two of the amounts up there. There are as many as five free rolls up there. So anything can still happen. Kevin, simply put, you need to avoid a 3, a non-double 4 and a 7 to stay in business for Game 1. Snake eyes or double 2 and we have to go the board. Any other double triggers a double decision. When you're ready, Kevin, clap those dice together and please take your catch-up roll. (Kevin, number from 1-100, please.)

(Kevin rolls) (audience groans)Ohhh -- a 3. Only puts $300 in your bank. Matt, you win Game 1. (audience applause)Well, Matt, congratulations. That circled star on your side of the scoreboard indicates you've won the game as well as a gold coin. You'll need two gold coins to win the match and earn the right to play the Bonus Bonanza. And those coins can help you in winning more than $1,000,000. Kevin, you need to win two games in a row to unseat our champion. Find out if Kevin can send this match to a tie-breaker game -- or if Matt goes back to Bonus Bonanza -- when Hot Dice returns. (commercial cue plays; audience applauds)

(parting gifts cue plays) Doug: (in pre-recorded audio) Our contestants will receive some of the following.
An assortment of candy -- featuring Goobers, crisp and crunchy peanuts covered in fine chocolate. Plus Raisinets, plump sweet chocolate-covered raisins. From Nestle.
A Samsonite Classic 3 attache with exclusive safety locks designed to eliminate accidental spilling of case's contents. The Classic 3 attache from Samsonite. St. Mary's crisp, easy-care sheets and pillowcases in handsome, traditional patterns and soft, pretty colors to complement any decor.
Simoniz, the first great name in car waxes. Available in pre-softened or liquid form. There are shines, and there are Simoniz shines.
And a member of our studio audience will receive, from Oneida Silversmiths, elegant stainless serving trays in the Golden Royal Chippendale pattern, and a beautiful set of steak knives. From Oneida Silversmiths. (audience cheers)And as an extra memento of our show, we have this for each of our players... ...a copy of the Hot Dice home game. Now you can risk and roll with friends and family. You're better off playing this with relatives than -- ya know -- Cards Against Humanity. (scattered laughter from the crowd) Kevin and Matt, a new game is about to start. The money you banked previously is still yours to keep. (ding)But with Game 2 starting now, we must start you from scratch. Matt, if you win this game, you retain your championship and play the Bonus Bonanza. Kevin, you need to win this game to force the tie-breaker game. Here comes the Round 1 question in Game 2. Anson Williams, Brian Williams or Ollie Williams. Want to bank the nine -- or put it all on the line? (audience shouts suggestions) [Note of clarification from Doug: Kevin buzzed in with 100 and the above 6 and 3 made up the 100th roll in the first list of dice rolls for this second game of the match. Should Kevin decide to roll again, we'll go to the first dice roll in the current list -- and proceed from there.]

As you know, Matt, you can't bust on the free roll. We start you off with $700 in this round. The next 7 in this round does count as a bust. With that clarified -- bank or roll?
